GREAT MIDDLE EAST WAR BY ABALONEKID

WILL THE BRIDE OF CHRIST BE SNATCHED UP TO MEET JESUS IN THE AIR BEFORE THIS WAR? NOTHING STOPS THIS FROM HAPPENING. IT CAN OCCUR AT ANY MOMENT!!!

John 14:
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Titus 2:
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

**13 looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

SAINTS: WE ARE AWAITING HIS CALL JUST AS OUR BRETHREN 2000 YEARS AGO! WHO SAYS JESUS CAN'T CALL US UP ...NOW!

Jude 1: HIS COMING IN THE AIR TO CALL US UP
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Philippians 3:
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1 Cor.1:
4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5 that in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7 so that ye come behind in no gift; *[WAITING FOR THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST] waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8 who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. * for emphasis only

1 Thess.4:
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS ONGOING: END OF AGE CLOSER STILL!

A PROPHESY THAT AWAITS THE WORLD (Psalm 83/Isaiah 17)

Psalm 83 is a yet future prophecy because there has been no known fulfillment in Scripture or history. In fact, it seems that this Psalm is speaking of events that could occur today. The seething hatred and common goal the listed members of the confederacy in Psalm 83 have against Israel since their rebirth as a nation has led many to believe that fulfillment of this prophetic Psalm could occur soon.

Psalm 83 opens with a plea to God to save Israel from their enemy neighbors who have come together making threats to destroy them. These nations not only hate Israel, they hate God; they continue to speak blasphemies against God and make threats against Israel.

Psalm 83
A prayer for the Lord to judge His enemies who have come against His people:

1 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God!
2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more."
These enemies are Israel's neighbors:

5 For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You:
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them; they have helped the children of Lot. Selah
Prayer for judgment to come on Israel's neighbors in the same way that God dealt with other enemies who tried to destroy them take their land for their own possession:

9 Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
10 who perished at En Dor, who became as refuse on the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 who said, "Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession."

Prayer that the enemies would come to know the Lord:

13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind!
14 As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire,
15 so pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord.
17 Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
18 that they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.

The modern day nations that come against Israel in the "Great Middle East War."

The nations within the confederacy are Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. Gaza is technically part of Israel, but today, Arab refugees occupy the land. These refugees are known today as the Palestinians, who are trying to form a nation apart from Israel, consisting of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The People Groups

Tents of Edom = Palestinians
Ishmaelites = Arabs
Hagrites = Clan of Ishmaelites
Inhabitants of Tyre = Lebanese
The Descendants of Lot
= Moabites and Ammonite

2nd Front Of This War

Isaiah 17 Prophecy against Damascus:

A ONE NIGHT WAR!

The conflict between Israel and her neighbors is over in one night. Israel does to her neighbors what they sought to do to her:

Isaiah 17:14
Then behold, at eventide, trouble! And before the morning, he is no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who rob us.

1 The burden against Damascus. "Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap."

Prophecy against Jordan (Aroer), Palestinians in West Bank (fortress in Ephraim), and Syria:

2 "The cities of Aroer are forsaken; they will be for flocks which lie down, and no one will make them afraid.
3 The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria; they will be as the glory of the children of Israel," says the Lord of hosts.
What these nations do to Israel that results in their judgment:

4 "In that day it shall come to pass that the glory of Jacob will wane, and the fatness of his flesh grow lean.
5 It shall be as when the harvester gathers the grain, and reaps the heads with his arm; it shall be as he who gathers heads of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.
6 Yet gleaning grapes will be left in it, like the shaking of an olive tree, two or three olives at the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in its most fruitful branches," says the Lord God of Israel.

The spiritual revival that Israel has as a result of these nations coming against her:

7 In that day a man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.
8 He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands; he will not respect what his fingers have made, nor the wooden images nor the incense altars.

More description about the losses for Israel:

9 In that day his strong cities will be as a forsaken bough and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel; and there will be desolation.
10 Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not been mindful of the Rock of your stronghold, therefore you will plant pleasant plants and set out foreign seedlings;
11 in the day you will make your plant to grow, and in the morning you will make your seed to flourish; but the harvest will be a heap of ruins in the day of grief and desperate sorrow.

The fleeing of Israel's enemies and the uproar of the nations for what Israel does to their enemies:

12 Woe to the multitude of many people who make a noise like the roar of the seas, and to the rushing of nations that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
13 The nations will rush like the rushing of many waters; but God will rebuke them and they will flee far away, and be chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

Israel does to her neighbors what they sought to do to her:

14 Then behold, at eventide, trouble! And before the morning, ** he is no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who rob us.

* THE SAMPSON OPTION

Israel will take a very heavy hit from missiles armed with Biological and Chemical war heads and missiles from Terror groups that will hit Tel Aviv and other inhabited areas of Israel. Israel MAY BE forced to use TACTICAL NUCLEAR WEAPONS to insure her survival (the "SAMPSON OPTION"). Multitudes will perish in any event. DAMASCUS WILL BE FULLY DESTROYED! Israel will survive and take back land promised Abraham! She will occupy many areas of the desert now inhabited by Arabs.

The world orders that hate Israel will be even more hateful under their invisible ruler, Satan. Terrible persecutions world over begin. Israelites will migrate to Israel from all over. A larger exodus to Israel then before 1948.

Jews IN A JEWISH STATE!

Israel will gain full control of large oil reserves and gas reserves, and great mineral deposits, (some of which is in current dispute with Lebanon) in the Dead Sea.

WHERE IS THE USA?

Then Antichrist, on the white horse will appear and Israel, (STILL NOT IN THE FAITH AS A NATION IN CHRIST) will enter into a 7 year covenant of security with him which the scriptures refer to as a "Covenant of Death".

THIS BEGINS THE DAY OF THE LORD IN JUDGMENTS ON EARTH

THEN THE GREAT TRIBULATION OF 7 YEARS!

THE TRUE CHURCH BRIDE IS WITH THE LORD IN HEAVEN BEFORE THIS TIME.

Since we are awaiting the call of Jesus to come up to meet Him in the air what shall we do in our time here which God predestined for us before the world was made?

ONE THING I KNOW AND DO: GET THE GOSPEL OUT OVER CYBERSPACE IN MANY LANGUAGES AS WELL AS SHARE IT WHEREVER I CAN IN PUBLIC AND ELSEWHERE.

DAILY PRAYER FOR SERVICE ACCORDING TO HIS WILL IN THE FULLNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1 John 5:
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Colossians 3:17 "And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by him."

THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL

Is there a message that gives greater glory to God then the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

The eternal purpose of salvation is to make us capable of glorifying God forever.

1 Thessalonians 2:4
"But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts."

Romans 1:16
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."

Isaiah 55:6-7
""Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon"

THE GREAT COMMISSION
Jesus speaks: "And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15
.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:13-14
.
Acts 1:8 ( a command for His church)
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON GRACE AND WORKS SALVATION, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER BIBLICAL/SPIRITUAL THINGS

For years I believed that we had to answer an altar call and say "The Sinner's Prayer" to be saved.  I never believed that baptism is necessary for salvation but nor do I think it is in any way wrong, heretical, or blasphemy.  It is a good way to make a public confession of the change of heart and conversion to Christ Jesus.  How many of you have said the "Sinner's Prayer" at an altar call?  I have many times and I was so ignorant of the Word of God that I actually believed Jesus Christ told us to do this and say that prayer.  I promise you it is nowhere in the Bible.  Now, some pastors say that altar calls are wrong and unBiblical but I believe you could be in the bathroom and if the Holy Spirit convicts you, you can be born again right then and there.  God is everywhere, even in your bathroom (and I am NOT being disrespectful either) so you can repent right then and there and be saved for eternity.  There is one way to be saved and only one way...

"For ye are saved by grace through faith and not of yourselves.  It is a gift of God.  Not of works, lest any man should boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9

JESUS CHRIST PAID YOUR SIN DEBT IN FULL...PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE...ON THE CROSS.  HE WAS THE LAST SACRIFICIAL LAMB AND NOW ALL OF YOUR SINS ARE COVERED BUT OF COURSE YOU MUST HAVE SAVING FAITH.  WORKS DON'T SAVE YOU, AID TO YOUR SALVATION BUT ARE A RESULT OF SALVATION.  WHAT ARE GOOD WORKS?  YOUR MONEY?  TIME?  FAITH?  I BELIEVE IT'S THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.  OF COURSE IT IS GOOD TO GIVE OUR MONEY TO HELP OTHERS, BUILD HOUSES FOR THE POOR, EVEN RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS BUT IF YOU'RE DOING THEM TO SAY "LOOK AT HOW GOOD I AM" THEN THAT'S PRIDE AND SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS.  SOMETIMES DOING THE RIGHT THING HURTS.  MAYBE YOU GIVE MONEY AND YOU DON'T FEEL ALL THAT GREAT ABOUT IT OR GET A BLESSING.  GOD DOESN'T OWE YOU ANYTHING AND MAYBE THE BLESSING WAS FOR THE OTHER PERSON.  EVEN HEATHENS GIVE TO BE REWARDED.  EXPECT NOTHING IN RETURN AND DON'T EXPECT GOD TO BE YOUR BANKER OR YOU WILL BE BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED ALTHOUGH I CANNOT DENY THAT HE SOMETIMES DOES BLESS US FINANCIALLY BUT PERSONALLY, I LOVE HIS BLESSINGS LIKE HEARING FROM A LOVED ONE, A PROBLEM IN YOUR LIFE DISAPPEARING OR ANYTHING BUT MONEY TO BE MORE MEANINGFUL THAN A FINANCIAL BLESSING BUT I ALSO APPRECIATE HIS FINANCIAL BLESSINGS BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME.  IT IS PERFECT!

We are saved by believing that Jesus paid our past, present and future sin debt on that cross and His blood is sufficient for salvation.  Salvation by grace alone; through faith alone; through Christ Jesus alone is the Gospel of the death, burial and resurrection and ultimate ascension into Heaven is what saves us.

First Corinthians 15:1-11; John 3:16-17; Acts 8:37 (KJV BIBLE ONLY); Romans 3:23 and 6:23.  Also, the Apostle Paul says that "Should we sin so that grace may abound?  God forbid!  BUT when we DO sin, we have ONE mediator between God and man and that is the Man Jesus Christ."  He's not denying His divinity here but rather His fleshly death on the. Cross and God raising Him from the dead is the only one who can forgive us.

We cannot do anything in these sinful, fleshly bodies to please God.  Our works are as of filthy rags to God.  We can build hospitals, feed the poor, find homes/jobs for the homeless, give money to a church but they cannot save you or add to your salvation.  Also, if we don't share the Gospel with those we're helping, we're no different than the heathens.  That's what sets us apart.  Yes, care about their physical needs but their salvation is our first priority.

James talks about "faith without works is dead faith."  I'm not a Biblical scholar and this is just my POV but as I understand it, what he is talking about is that if after salvation, we don't show any fruits of it NOT to be saved but because of salvation.  If we don't change our hearts and minds to Spiritual things but say that since you said a prayer asking Jesus to save you that that's all, then your salvation was not saving faith but rather false conversion.  You can't serve God in Spirit and truth and remain in WILLFUL sin.  However, justification is instantaneous but sanctification is a lifelong process.  He'll finish what He started.  If you're addicted to something, He won't force you to stop but He will help you IF you allow Him.  He will never force Himself on you or mess with your free will.  Oh, and I do not believe medicine, even if it's a narcotic, is a sin unless you abuse it, misuse it or take it if you don't need it.  Just don't let it control you.  I do not believe God wants His people to suffer needlessly.  Actually, marijuana is one of the best drugs because it helps cancer patients with both pain and nausea; helps slow down or stop glaucoma and for those suffering from severe anxiety because of PTSD (esp. veterans), it can change their lives.  We are to end suffering, not cause it.  I don't care much for marijuana and never have but it's going to be legal for recreational use in all 50 states before long.  Just like gay marriage, don't get caught up in that worldly nonsense.  God is the one who makes marriages.  Even us old married couples that have a marriage license, all it is is an earthly contract and has nothing to do with what God said a marriage is.  Gays can have all the contracts on earth they want and man may call it a real marriage but that is not what God said marriage is.  It is between one man and one woman.  I do resent that most of our churches are bowing down to the world's demands by marrying homosexuals and compromising God's Word.  I can't find a church that preaches the truth (well, that's debatable) yet always gay marriages as well as gays in leadership roles.  We shouldn't be conformed to this world.  That doesn't mean we should hate homosexuals, bully them nor ever kill them but nor should we make them feel better by giving your approval either.  The same with liars, thieves, murderers, etc.  Sin is sin is sin.  Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.  Love them by telling them the truth about the Gospel of Salvation and that once saved, they will naturally lose their lusts IF they are truly saved.  So, they won't give up anything they want.  They will overcome.

For example, what if you're addicted to drugs.  When you are addicted to ANYTHING, that has control over you and you are powerless.  You do not have to be "clean" or free from addictions to be saved.  In fact, that's when you SHOULD get saved.  The Holy Spirit will finish the good work He starts in you.  Be not deceived by these charismatic and Pentacostals who say if you are not healed right then and there, it's because "you don't trust Jesus enough" either.  Now, I had one of the most vulgar mouths in the world.  I couldn't say a sentence without using horrible curse words at least 3 or 4 times and I was healed almost instantly.  Of course I occasionally slip up but I stopped cursing.  I made up some funny words not long ago that are silly and not sinful at all to say if I stub my toe.  The Bible says to stay away from filthy language but I'm not sure that most "curse words" are actually a sin but I feel when we talk trash and then spread the Gospel, they're going to view us as hypocrites.  We are set apart and shouldn't be of this world.  As for my own personal conviction, I don't think using that kind of language constantly is being a good representative of our King.  I also heard another man say he was convicted of Coke.  You're probably thinking of course he should be but he was speaking of the drink, not the powder, lol.  He said he felt like he needed it too much.  He also said he drinks one on occasion but he didn't want anything to have power over him except God.  So you could be convicted of certain foods, clothes you wear, just about anything but because you were convicted of it doesn't mean it's wrong for others.  We are all different.  Other than known sins like lying, stealing, adultery, homosexuality, etc., Jesus Christ is your personal God and He alone knows what may be hindering you but not your best friend.  So be careful about judging others who do things you were convicted of because it may not be a problem for them.  We all have personal things in our life that the Holy Spirit will put in your heart to stop doing.  I can watch some TV shows and movies but although I haven't been convicted of it, my desire to watch all but a few shows, I lost the desire to watch them.  I subscribe to PureFlix and I watch that a lot.  I also like "The Big Bang Theory."  It sounds wrong but it has nothing to do with that nor is it an anti-God show.  The name throws you and I'm also grounded enough in the Word of God that when I do hear this atheistic nonsense, I roll my eyes and let it pass right over me.  I have found that some, not all, Biblical movies on TV or in theaters are worse than an R rated worldly movie.  The movie "Noah" is a prime example.  I have never seen a Bible-based movie so full of errors in my life.  Of course I know the truth about the flood but my fear is that so many are influenced by these shows and movies that they'll believe the movie version over the Word of God.

I just felt like sharing my thoughts and I enjoy writing.  I'm determined to write a book and I've already got the plot in my head.  I don't write formally on here because this is brother/sister to brother/sister.  So, I'm practicing on you.  Of course it will be a Bible based Christian fictional book.  Also, if I said anything wrong or misinterpreted the Word, please feel free to correct me.  More later!

Much love in Christ Jesus and love Him and others in return for love is the greatest gift and the 2 greatest commandments!

PAUL WASHER HAS A SERIOUS MESSAGE FOR YOU...SHORT VIDEO

I've listened to a lot of his sermons, using all the discernment I could muster, and I found no errors in his preaching.  He is extremely passionate for the Gospel.  He will tell these "charismatics, felt needs" people he doesn't care if he offends them.  He is not at all concerned about making them "feel good about themselves" and about their "needs."  He is concerned with one thing and one thing only...TRUE CONVERSION AND SALVATION IN TRUTH.  He tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.  He doesn't tickle anybody's ears!  God bless and a sermon he preached after another pastor had just put on a light and comedy show where thousands were falsely saved, the sermon went viral and many, many came to be saved because he had the guts to not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I'll try to find that video and then share it.  I heard part of it and it's powerful.

GOD SPEAKS FROM ETERNITY PAST THROUGH PAUL THE APOSTLE

Ephesians 1:
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

 7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

[1 Cor.15:  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: ]

9 having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

May God richly bless us for Jesus sake and the world's benefit in those who God has assigned that we love in His truth and in deeds.

UNDERSTANDING THE HOLY SPIRIT - BY DALLAS HOLM

“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” ( 1 Corinthians 3:16)
Just the title of this Praiseletter triggers thoughts, emotions and a broad spectrum of doctrinal beliefs within this readership.
Some may jump for joy as they anticipate a discussion of spiritual giftings, miraculous manifestations and what a “spirit-filled” life should look like; at least according to their doctrinal position, experience and understanding.
Others may begin to get a little nervous, fearing that we may embark on a discussion of some of the aforementioned topics. This could be somewhat uncomfortable to those who feel a little calmer just not talking too much about the Holy Spirit because perhaps they have not been taught properly who He is and what He desires.
Thus, I write this letter, most simple and yet profound in its implications as we consider just a couple key issues concerning the Holy Spirit and us.

The Holy Spirit According to Scripture

First of all and most importantly, let’s look to God’s Word.
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)
What a clear and important statement for us to grasp from God’s Word! His Spirit gives us life and so apart from His Spirit we cannot have life.
This verse speaks not only of physical life, but spiritual and eternal life as well.
So here is a most important point to understand and embrace. Every true believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. That may seem an obvious truth to many but I can tell you there are many who believe (in various ways) that one can be saved and then receive His Spirit at some later occasion.
We say things like, “I received Christ” or, “I asked Jesus into my heart.”
These statements are fine and attest to a very real truth but sometimes lead us to an improper conclusion.

Jesus and the Holy Spirit

Jesus said, “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Holy Spirit) shall not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” (John 16:7)
When we say we receive Christ, it is His Spirit in fact that we receive. We know from Scripture that right now and since His ascension, Christ is at the right hand of the Father.
“This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God (Acts 2:32-33)
Before Stephen was stoned he proclaimed, “Behold, I see the Heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God…” (Acts 7:56)
The writer to the Hebrews says: “Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, (Jesus) who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the Heavens.” (Hebrew 8:1)
Through our terminology and perhaps a view of the famous painting of Jesus knocking at our heart’s door, we invision an image of this bearded, robed savior walking into our being somehow.
It is true He has, but it is by His Spirit.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit

This easily opens the door to a lengthy discussion of the Triune Godhead. Time and paper do not permit that just now.
This we know from Scripture: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each a separate person with a distinct function, if you will, within the Godhead, yet each fully God.
Toward the end of Jesus’ earthly ministry, He gives every true disciple a clear and powerful commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
If you do not believe in a Triune Godhead, this would probably be a good time to fold up this letter, place it in the file of your choice and maybe see if there is something good on TV.
Yes, it’s rather sarcastic humor but I’ve heard and read all the best arguments of the “non-Trinitarians” and find them to be lacking biblical support and scholarship.

How Much of the Holy Spirit Do You Have

Some say, “Christians have the Holy Spirit, but sometimes, they don’t have all of the Holy Spirit.”
This then begs the question, “How much of the Holy Spirit do they have?” Sixty-two percent, ninety-three percent or maybe just twenty-seven percent?
The Scripture always refers to the Holy Spirit as a person and understands Him to be just that. Indwelt by a partial person of the Godhead does not make “biblical sense.”
Perhaps a more legitimate question is not how much of the Holy Spirit we have, but rather how much of us the Holy Spirit has.
We can approach and discuss this point in so many ways but here’s what Scripture desires that we know and affirm: one of the absolute greatest moments in biblical and human history is when God decided to literally dwell within us by His own Holy Spirit.
Fully God in mortal man
This was His eternal plan
Temples made of flesh and blood
Never more of stone or wood
Holy lives His glories show
Heaven reaches here below
Holy Spirit, You have come
Make us more like God’s own Son

The Holy Spirit Dwells in You

As a true believer, it is absolutely essential that you realize the Spirit of the Living God dwells in His fullness within you!
Scripture says, “However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him..” (Romans 8:9)
This verse makes it clear. If you do not have His Spirit, you don’t belong to Christ. But if you do belong to Christ, you therefore have His Spirit.
Is there more to be discussed about the Holy Spirit; His ministry to and through us? His giftings? His ministry as Helper, Teacher, Comforter? Yes, to be sure, but none of those things will help us to grow as we should in Christ and be conformed to His image as He desires, unless we understand He dwells within us fully by The Holy Spirit!

I know have a part-time job and hope to build up a small clientele to do the basics of dog grooming.  I can't do haircuts but I can do most everything else.  I just want to earn some extra money to start a Gospel website and to really share the Gospel.  I am not going to be able to do my blog everyday unless it's just one or two shares.  I've also got to cut down on my Google communities.  I keep trying to but I am having problems wanting to unjoin so if you can accept that I won't be able to participate but maybe 3 or 4 times a month, I'd like to stay.  I am going to unjoin any non-Christian groups except for the few animal sites I'm on as I love animals.  So does God!  Now, if I'm on multiple groups by the same owner, I'm going to unjoin all but one.  I am too overwhelmed and I want to participate but my time is now even more limited.  Plus, it's getting warm and my husband and I are going to be doing things together.  After God, he is my priority.  I also need to feed myself and read the Bible more as well as attend church and Bible study and listen to these awesome CDs by the best church in Florida.  In a few months, I'm going to have a website and will be posting on that rather than my blog.  I'll keep it just to share fun Christian stuff.  I also want to be honest, I had an issue I'd been struggling with but now have it fixed.  I was suffering from depression and PTSD and it has hit me hard this year.  I have been so lonely but God is faithful.  He's blessed me far more than I deserve.  I'm never leaving the faith but I can't keep up.  I am taking Tuesdays and Sundays off of the computer.  I'm not even turning it on.  I get burnt out on it and I want to get out and live my faith and not just sit in the house and being online.  I love the internet but it's a double edged sword.  There's so much hate and danger on here.  I'll be sharing some awesome men of God and great websites that have sound doctrine and will never lead you astray.  So I'll do what I can but the guilt of not participating and feeling as I have to be a slave to this machine is interfering with my faith.  I can't let it come before my relationship with Christ Jesus anymore.  I will be doing my blog 5 days a week but not more than 7 posts.  God bless and thanks for your understanding!

MONERGISM BOOKS LINK

I signed up for this on FaceBook although I wasn't exactly sure what it was as there was little information on it online.  They have sound doctrine and I highly recommend it.  Here is a link for you to read their Statement of Faith/Beliefs.  It's exactly what I was taught as a child and believed in all of my life.  I hope it helps you as much as it has me.  God bless!

THE TRUTH HAS MADE US FREE - BY ABALONEKID

2 Timothy 3:

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Make the case! The whole Bible given by inspired Holy men of God who "were moved by the Holy Spirit" to write the very words of Scripture.

Divine inspiration extends to all parts of the writings–historical, poetical, doctrinal, and prophetical–as appearing in the original manuscripts.

The whole Bible in the originals is therefore without error. All the scriptures center about the Lord Jesus Christ in His person and work in His first and second coming, and that no portion, even of the Old Testament, is properly read or understood until it leads to Him.

All the Scriptures were designed for our practical instruction.

Romans 15:34

4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

2 Peter 1:21

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Whatever is written anywhere in the sacred Scriptures, were written for our learning; to instruct in the knowledge of Christ, of his person, offices, grace, righteousness, obedience, sufferings, death, resurrection, and ascension. We are uplifted and empowered by the great salvation and redemption he came to obtain, and has obtained, teaching us the doctrines of grace, of pardon through His blood, atonement by his sacrifice, justification by his righteousness, acceptance in his person, and eternal life through him and also to inform us of our duty, and how we ought to behave both towards God and men.

We, through patience and comfort of the Scriptures, have hope! The Scriptures are not only written for our present instruction, but for the encouraging, and establishing, an hope of eternal Life in another world; which they are the means of, under the influence of divine grace; since they give us a clear account of eternal life; of the promise of it in Christ; of its being procured by him, and secured in him; of the means of enjoying it, through his blood and righteousness; of the declarations of God's free grace and mercy to we sinners, and of the various instances of persons who have been made partakers of it; all which encourage to hope in the Lord, and to rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

We believe we also may have and enjoy the thing hoped for, "through patience and comfort of the Scriptures" not to be met with elsewhere. These writings abound with exceeding great and precious promises, and excellent doctrines, to cherish, support, and maintain a hope of eternal happiness; all which prove the divine authority, excellency, and usefulness of the sacred writings, and recommend to us the reading of them, sharing, and hearing of them explained by others blessed to do so in Christ.

WE, HIS CHURCH, LOVE ISRAEL: GOD FORBID WE DO NOT!

Does God still have a plan for Israel?"

This topic is one of the more controversial in the "VISIBLE" Church today, and it has significant implications regarding the way we interpret Scripture, especially concerning the end times. More importantly, it has great significance in that it affects the way we understand the very nature and character of God Himself AND OUR serving in the faith (w/o the sin of denial of Israel causing broken fellowship with God! ) ministries God has ordained for each of us!

Get Israel right and be blessed in our time here to serve God in the fullness of the Holy Spirit .

***A MUST READ: ALL OF ROMANS CHAP 11

Romans 11:16-36 records the illustration of the olive tree. This passage speaks of Israel the (“natural” branches) being broken off from the olive tree, and the Church (“wild” branches or shoots) being grafted into the olive tree. Since Israel is referred to as branches, as well as the Church, it stands to reason that neither group is the “whole tree,” so to speak; rather, the whole tree represents God’s workings with mankind as a whole. Therefore, God’s program with Israel and God’s program with the Church are part of the outworking of His purpose among men in general.

In Genesis 12, God promised Abraham that he would be the father of a great nation (the Jews), the Jews would possess a land, that nation would be blessed above all other nations, and all other nations would be blessed from Israel. So, from the beginning God revealed that Israel would be His chosen people on the earth, but that His blessing would not be limited to them exclusively. Galatians 3:14 identifies the nature of the blessing to come to all the other nations: “That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” All the nations of the world were blessed by Israel, through whom the Savior of the world came.

A PROMISE GOD KEEPS

Genesis 12:
Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

God’s plan of redemption is built upon the finished work of Jesus Christ, a descendant of David and Abraham. But Christ’s death on the cross is sufficient for the sins of the entire world, not just the Jews! Galatians 3:6-8 states, “Consider Abraham: ‘He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.’ Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you.’”

Finally,Galatians 3:29 says, “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” In other words, in Christ, believers are counted righteous by faith in the same way that Abraham was (Galatians 3:6-8). If we are in Christ, then we are partakers of the blessing of Israel and all nations in the redemptive work of Christ. Believers become the spiritual descendants of Abraham. Believers do not become physical Jews, but they may enjoy the same type of blessings and privileges as the Jews.

***BELOVEDS: READ ROMANS CHAP 11

Now, this does not contradict or nullify the revelation given in the Old Testament. God’s promises in the Old Testament are still valid, and God’s relationship with Israel as a chosen people points to the work of Christ as a Redeemer of the whole world. The Mosaic Law is still mandatory for all Jews who have not yet accepted Christ as their Messiah. Jesus did what they could not do—fulfill the Law in all its details (Matthew 5:17). As New Testament believers, we are no longer under the curse of the Law (Galatians 3:13), because Christ has taken that curse upon Himself on the cross. The Law served two purposes: to reveal sin and mankind’s inability (on his own merit) to do anything about it, and to point us to Christ, who fulfills the Law. His death on the cross completely satisfies God’s righteous requirement of perfection.

Paul Explains God's Promises

God’s unconditional promises are not invalidated by the unfaithfulness of man. Nothing we do is ever a surprise to God, and He does not need to adjust His plans according to the way we behave. No, God is sovereign over all things—past, present and future—and what He has foreordained for both Israel and the Church will come to pass, regardless of circumstances. Romans 3:3-4 explains that Israel’s unbelief would not nullify His promises concerning them:

“What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: ‘So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.’"

GOD KEEPS HIS WORD: DON'T BE CRIPPLED BY A SATANIC LIE

Paul anticipated a question that would surely arise among his Gentile readers: “I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall?” (Romans 11:1)—Gentile believers would be tempted to dismiss Israel because it appeared they would never recover. Even today, there are those who advocate  replacement theology, which holds that the Church has completely replaced Israel and will inherit the promises to be fulfilled only in a spiritual sense. In other words, according to this view, ethnic Israel is forever excluded from the promises—the Jews will not literally inherit the Promised Land. What then would happen to Israel? What about the Old Testament prophecies that Israel as a nation would repent and be re-gathered to the land in the last days as a permanent possession (Deuteronomy 30:1–10)?

READ ROMANS CHAP 11...

Romans 11 thus conclusively shows Gentile believers that God is not yet “done” with Israel, who has only temporarily lost the privilege of representing God as His people. Since “the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable” (11:29), “all Israel will be saved” in order to fulfill God’s covenant with ethnic Israel (11:25–28), including the promise of land inheritance (Deuteronomy 30:1–10).

While the “natural branches” were cut off because Israel failed, God’s purposes are not complete until Israel is also grafted back into the people of God to share in the promises to Abraham and his seed. This brings full circle God’s larger redemptive plan (Romans 11:30–36) for both Jews and Gentiles as distinct populations within the people of God in the Davidic (or Millennial) Kingdom. Indeed, the prophets saw this Kingdom as the “final form” of the olive tree, so that Israel—reversing roles—would then bless the Gentiles, enabling them to join the people of God (see Zechariah 8:13, 20–23).

Promises made to Israel are still going to be kept in the future. We can be sure that all God has said is true and will take place, because of His character and consistency. The Church does not replace Israel and should not expect a symbolic fulfillment of the promises of the Old Covenant. As one reads Scripture, it is necessary to keep Israel and the Church separate.
