9/11 AND GOD'S JUDGMENT TO AMERICA

Today marks fifteen years since the attack on the World Trade Center buildings in New York city by Muslim terrorists. A tragic event killing approximately three thousand innocent lives, effecting the lives of many, many more! A horrible time for Americans, a time to reflect on life itself.
We should all take a moment to remember the lives lost, to grieve for them and their loved ones. To pray for those effected by these tragic moments.
Was this merely an isolated incident or was it the beginning of something larger? Is there anything particularly significant about it other than merely an attack on America?
Since the Iranian hostage crisis in 1979 the Iranian government has been at war with America, her greatest enemy. Let us not be deceived by the world telling us that Iran has any other motive than to wipe both America and Israel off of the map! Nor should we be so ignorant as to believe that the intentions of Iran or Islam are peaceful, they are anything but!
America has become a nation of sin, a nation once devoted to the God of the universe, Jesus Christ! America turned her back to God, worshiping false gods and idols, performing abominations to the Lord, and sacrificing millions of innocent human lives to Satan! America is now submitting to Islam and beginning the persecution of God’s people, Christians!
The fall of the World Trade Centers marked a new era for America, one which not only defies God, but blatantly opposes Him and stands firmly against Him! After the fall of the buildings, America has rebuilt in defiance, a new World Trade Center, one built to reach the gods, as the Tower of Babel.
Genesis 11:4
‘And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” ‘
God had commanded man to multiply and fill the earth, however man defied God by building the tower in an attempt to remain together and prevent being scattered, to give themselves a name instead of worshiping God, and to reach the heavens. But why would they want to reach the heavens? Was it to reach God, or was it to reach gods?
Whatever all of the reasons were, they were wrong and in defiance of God’s commands. And now we see America doing the same thing! Since the building of the new World Trade Center in New York City, America has seen a dramatic downfall away from God. Morals and values have declined dramatically, homosexuality has been elevated to a level of praise and celebration, sacrifice of human life continues into the millions each year, Islamic teachings in schools is taught by our governments over the teachings of God, Christians are being persecuted on an increasing level, and attacks by Muslims has increased on American soil.
The attack on the World Trade Center buildings was the beginning of judgment on America by God. We are being judged, and the good Lord is faithful and just.
The only way to stop or slow His judgment is by His people repenting and praying with a humble heart! It’s the only way! However, America has not yet turned from its evil and wicked ways, and His judgment continues.
Humble yourself before the Lord, repent of your sins, and ask the good Lord to have mercy upon America! Ask for Him to withhold His judgment, and instead bring revival to the land!

Who were the first Christian monks, and what did they believe? Who did the Christian monks think really deserved alms—the “holy poor” or the “real poor”?
Mani, a third-century C.E. prophet who viewed himself as the reformer of Christianity and the Paul of his age, was the founder of Manichaeism.
In the eastern Roman Empire during the third century C.E., two distinct forms of early Christian monasticism began to develop. One came out of Mesopotamia and Syria and was based on older models of previous radical groups. The other came from Egypt and was a new idea.
In “Monastic Views of Work” in the January/February 2016 issue of Biblical Archaeology Review, Peter Brown, Rollins Professor of History Emeritus at Princeton University, examines these two forms of early Christian monasticism. While both were derived from theBiblical writings of Paul, they differed about what it meant to be poor and who should benefit from tithes.
In Mesopotamia and Syria, Manichaean monks and wanderers would travel to wealthy cities throughout the region and offer songs, prayers and wisdom in exchange for monetary support and nourishment. Manichaeism, a religion often equated with Gnosticism and dualism, was founded by Mani, a man who viewed himself as a prophet, the apostle Paul of his time and the reformer of Christianity.
