Just AS Shadrach, Meshach, AND Abed-Nego WERE Challenged, Whether OR NOT They Would Worship The GOLD IMAGE OF King Nebuchadnezzar, These People, DURING The Great Tribulation WILL ALSO BE Challenged, Whether OR NOT They Will Worship AND Serve The BEAST, AND Worship AND Serve The IMAGE OF The BEAST, OR Whether OR NOT They Will Receive The MARK OF THE BEAST!

SATAN'S GREATEST LIE THAT LEADS TO YOUR GREATEST DEFEAT - CHARISMA MAGAZINE

If you follow many of my articles, you probably recognize that my perspective on spiritual warfare largely centers around knowing who you are and what you have in Christ. I call this "identity-based warfare."

This concept was shaped by a word from God, in which He told me: "Spiritual warfare isn't about fighting a devil that's defeated, but about standing in the victory of the one who defeated him." In other words, your victory over Satan's attacks isn't all about methods and models, but standing in confidence of what God's Word says you have because of the finished work of Christ.

The Foundation of Who You Are

The foundation of your new identity in Christ is illustrated in 2 Cor. 5:17: "Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Look, all things have become new." How this happens is explained just four verses later: "God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (v. 21). These two verses describe a spiritual metamorphosis that's incomprehensible. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it; as a Christian, you are brand new and made right.

Satan's Greatest Lie

Of course, we know the devil seeks to oppose whatever God declares. And therefore, it stands to reason his greatest strategy against Christians is to erode their confidence in the foundation of their identity. Primarily, he does this through accusation. To convince you that you aren't new, he brings back haunting reminders of the past. To incite questions about your status before God, he shames you with your sins, struggles and weaknesses. Then, he whispers what is possibly his greatest lie: "You're just the same ol' sinner."

The deception comes in that what he says seems true. Certainly, we all continue to sin after we're saved. But herein lies Satan's strategy. He cleverly seeks to get you to equate your identity with your actions. Instead of simply admitting, "I sinned" and moving on, he wants you to confess this as who you are: "I'm just a sinner (saved by grace)."

The Danger of Confessing a Lie

Perhaps you've said this before. I know I have. In fact, I've even heard some of the most respected men and women of the faith say something similar. I know people mean well; it sounds humble and unassuming. But you must understand that to acknowledge something like this is to swallow Satan's greatest lie, which can produce a life of defeat.

As I expound upon in my book, Silence Satan, the devil knows you only rise to the level of whom you believe you are. That is, if you continue to believe you're a sinner well after the Lord declared you a new person, you're almost certain to remain enslaved to a lifestyle from which Jesus died to set you free. And although nobody means this, ultimately, it says to Jesus: "Your blood, wounds and death weren't enough. I have to pay for my sin with negative talk and self-pity."

Beliefs Influence Actions

Be sure not to misconstrue this message as license for sin. This is far from that. You can't purposefully live like the world while arrogantly holding to an identity you obviously don't respect. But at the same time, know that identity isn't determined by actions. Instead, actions are determined by identity. This is why scientists teach that your beliefs about yourself trickle down to influence your actions, which eventually shape your habits, character and destiny.

My message to you is this: Stop perpetuating the devil's greatest lie with your own mouth. You're not a mere "sinner saved by grace." You are the righteousness of God in Christ. When you start to agree with God's Word about your genuine identity in Christ, you'll begin to rise to the level of who you believe you are. And consequently, many of the "spiritual warfare" issues you face will diminish.

Isaiah 55:11 tells us, "So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

The Bible records God's words, everything we need to know in order to be saved and live the Christian life.

2 Peter 1:3 declares,
"According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us to glory and virtue."

 When we have a question about a certain topic or decision in our lives, we should see what the Bible has to say about it. God will never lead us or direct us contrary to what He has taught or promised in His Word (Titus 1:2).

God's Word is our ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice.

MY SHEEP HEAR ME

 To hear God's voice we must recognize it. Jesus said, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27).

Those who hear God's voice are those who belong to Him—those who have been saved by His grace through faith in the Lord Jesus. These are the sheep who hear and recognize His voice, because they know Him as their Shepherd and they know His voice. If we are to recognize God's voice, we must belong to Him. AND WHAT WE HEAR WILL BE ACCORDING TO HIS WORD.

True disciples will know the truth. More than that, our eyes are opened to a greater understanding of the truth.

1 John 5:
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.


TALKING TO AND LISTENING TO JESUS

We hear His voice when we spend time in prayer, Bible study, and quiet contemplation of His Word. The more time we spend intimately with God and His Word, the easier it is to recognize His voice and His leading in our lives.  We should be so familiar with God's Word that when God does speak to us or lead us, it is clear that it is God.

God speaks to us so that we may understand truth.

While God can speak audibly to people, once again: He speaks primarily through His Word, and sometimes through the Holy Spirit to our consciences, through circumstances, and through other people.

By applying what we hear to the truth of Scripture, we can learn to recognize His voice.

GOD'S WILL FOR US

Pray, especially when you're unsure of God's will for your life.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him" (Psalm 37:7).

If you don't know what to pray, you can always personalize & pray verses such as, "Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul" (Psalm 143:8) and, "Guide me in Your truth and teach me" (Psalm 25:5).

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH ABIDES, TEACHES AND COMFORTS US

Christians also have the Holy Spirit to discern what is, or is not, God's will for our lives.

 "The Spirit of truth . . . will guide you into all truth" (John 16:13).

Sometimes the Holy Spirit will either agitate our conscience if we're making a wrong decision, or He will pacify and encourage us when we're leaning toward the right decision. Even if He doesn't intervene in such noticeable ways, we can have confidence that He's always in charge.

Sometimes God can alter a situation without us even realizing He has acted!

Isaiah 58:
11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

God is calling you, be encouraged by His presence.

Joshua 1:9
" Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee wherever you go."

And remember,

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

DREAM DREAMS AND HAVE VISIONS?

God's Word is our ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice. If you (or another who shares with you) believe you have had a vision and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully examine the Word of God and make sure your vision is in agreement with Scripture. Then prayerfully consider what God would have you do in response to the vision .

James 1:
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

God would not give a vision to a person and then keep the meaning of the vision hidden. In Scripture, whenever a person asked God for the meaning of a vision, God made sure it was explained to the person.

Daniel 8:
15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

TRUE FREEDOM

Jesus is the Truth John 14:6.  Knowing the Truth will set one at liberty—free from habitual sinning, free from condemnation, and free from death Rom.6:22; 8:1-2.  Jesus came to proclaim liberty to the captives Lk. 14:18

1 Peter 2:
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

FACTS OF IMPORTANCE

Jesus loves us. Rev.1:5. He came to earth born of a virgin, Mary; Isaiah 7:14; by the power of God the Holy Spirit, and lived a sinless life as Immanuel, God with us! Mt.1:18-25. That life He gave for us, John 10:11, and our sins He paid for by His sinless blood, Rom.5:8, on a cross of shame. 2 Cor.5:21; He was buried and rose from the dead the 3rd day.1 Cor.15:3-4. He is returning for His blessed Bride.John 14:1-3. He can come at any moment.Titus 2:12-14. Nothing can stop Him. Heb.1:13; Col.1:16 He is God The Son, Lord and Savior of all believing sinners; Rom.10:9-10, we are His sheep, His Family in the faith by the grace of Almighty God. Eph.2:8-10. And He promised us He would never leave us nor forsake us; Heb.13:5. 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10
For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

***IMMINENCE OF RAPTURE

Pretribulationism has historical support. From John 21:22-23:

" 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?"

It would APPEAR that the early church viewed Christ’s return as imminent, that He could return at any moment. Otherwise, the rumor would not have persisted that Jesus would return within John’s lifetime. Imminence, is a key tenet of pretribulationism.

Titus 2:13-14
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

THE CHURCH AGE ( GOSPEL OF GRACE)

Dispensation of grace:

Throughout the Bible, God deals with different groups of people in different ways. In order to fully understand how God deals with each group, we need to first discuss one of the most important concepts in the study of prophetic Scripture - the doctrine of dispensations. A dispensationalist believes that God treats different groups of people differently at different times in history. In other words, He has different sets of rules for different times and different people groups. Paul taught about the "dispensation of grace" in Ephesians:

Ephesians 2:4-9 - But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Ephesians 3:1-7 - For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles - if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

It is clear in the passages above that God dealt with Israel differently under the Law than how He deals with the Church under the "dispensation of grace," which is a time in human history where God has chosen to pour out His mercy and grace without the burden of the Law. The "dispensation of grace" began at the cross, where the "dispensation of the Law" ended:

Colossians 2:13-14 -

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

At the beginning of the "Dispensation of Grace," God's focus shifted to the Church after Israel rejected Christ. In a future dispensation, God will again shift His focus back to Israel:

Romans 9:22-26 - What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As He says also in Hosea: "I will call them My people, who were not My people, and her beloved, who was not beloved." "And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not My people,' There they shall be called sons of the living God."

Christ reconciled and sanctified the Church BY HIS BODY BLOOD AND SINLESS LIFE:

Hebrews 13:12 - Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

1 John 1:7 - ...the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Ephesians 5:25-27 - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Philippians 3:9 - ...not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

The blood of Christ reconciled and sanctified the Church, making the Church righteous before God under the "dispensation of grace." During the previous "dispensation of the Law," Israel had to sacrifice to atone for their iniquity until Jesus died on the cross (Isaiah 53), but Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah and will go through a period of judgment before they corporately accept Christ's work of atonement and ALL these "Saints and elect " of ISRAEL will form the New Israel of "priests" to serve God worldwide in the 1000 year reign of Jesus on earth.

GOD WILL JUDGE THE WORLD IN WRATH: THE NEXT DISPENSATION

God will turn back to Israel during a dispensation of judgment and wrath ("The time of Jacobs Trouble" last 3 1/2 years of 7 year world judgments (Great Tribulation) by God and most horrific for Israel):

Jeremiah 30 - Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. 'For it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord of hosts, 'That I will break his yoke from your neck, and will burst your bonds; foreigners shall no more enslave them. But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them. 'Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob,' says the Lord, 'Nor be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet, and no one shall make him afraid. For I am with you,' says the Lord, 'to save you; though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a complete end of you. But I will correct you in justice, and will not let you go altogether unpunished.'

There has not yet been a dispensation characterized by God's judgement, though God has judged nations in all dispensations. As shown throughout the Old Testament, God first chastises nations through "tribulations," such as drought, famine, and the sword to bring them to repentance (Deuteronomy 11). When chastisement doesn't work, God turns the people over to their reprobate minds (Romans 1). ( SEEM FAMILIAR USA?) When the nation's iniquity is complete, God pours out His wrath, destroying and removing the people from the land to cleanse it (Genesis 15:16, Jeremiah 25:12). This pattern can be found across the dispensations in both the Old and New Testament and for people who are under and not under the Law of Moses (Leviticus 18, 20, Romans 1). However, during the 7-year Tribulation God will not judge separate nations, He will judge the world. Thus, the "dispensation of judgment" is a period of GLOBAL judgment.

CONCLUSION OF JUDGMENTS

THAT "TERRIBLE" LAST DAY OF GREAT TRIBULATION

Zechariah 12:9-15
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

I repent now of all my sins and turn from them, trusting you to wash them away in the Blood Jesus shed on the Cross. Acts 26:12-18

“While Thus Occupied, AS I (Saul) Journeyed TO Damascus, WITH Authority AND Commission FROM The Chief Priests, AT Midday, O King (Agrippa), Along The Road, I SAW A LIGHT FROM Heaven, BRIGHTER THAN The Sun, SHINING AROUND Me and Those Who Journeyed WITH Me. And When We All Had Fallen TO The Ground, I (Saul) HEARD A VOICE SPEAKING TO Me AND SAYING IN The Hebrew Language, ‘Saul, Saul, Why ARE YOU PERSECUTING Me? But I (Paul aka Saul) MAKE KNOW TO YOU, Brethren (Believers), That The Gospel (The Gospel OF Jesus Christ), Which WAS PREACHED BY Me (Paul), IS NOT according to Man (Mankind). For I (Paul) NEITHER RECEIVED IT, from Man, NOR Was I Taught IT, BUT IT CAME THROUGH THE REVELATION OF Jesus Christ. BUT WHEN IT PLEASED GOD (GOD Almighty), WHO SEPARATED Me FROM My Mother’s Womb AND CALLED Me, THROUGH His (GOD Almighty’s) GRACE, TO REVEAL His Son (Jesus Christ), IN Me, That I Might PREACH Him (Jesus Christ) Among The Gentiles (Non-Jewish Believers), I Did NOT Immediately Confer (discuss) WITH Flesh AND Blood (Mankind), NOR Did I GO UP TO Jerusalem, TO Those (Jesus’ Disciples) WHO WERE Apostles, BEFORE Me; BUT I WENT TO Arabia, AND Returned Again TO Damascus. THEN, AFTER Three (3) Years, I WENT UP TO Jerusalem, TO SEE Peter, AND REMAINED WITH Him (Peter) Fifteen (15) Days. BUT I SAW NONE OF The Other Apostles, EXCEPT James, The LORD’s (Half) Brother.

Fellow Believers, Saul (later called Paul) WAS PERSONALLY SELECTED, BY Jesus Christ, TO BE His (Jesus Christ’s) Disciple TO The Gentiles (Non-Jewish People), AND Saul (Paul) RECEIVED His Own Personal REVELATION, FROM Jesus Christ!

Did YOU KNOW, Do YOU REALIZE, That YOU ALSO, WERE CHOSEN, BY Jesus Christ, TO BE HIS (Jesus Christ’s) LIGHT UPON This World (Satan’s World)! That’s Right, GOD Almighty CHOSE YOU, TO BE ADOPTED INTO HIS Family, AND TO BE CO-HEIR, WITH Jesus Christ, OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD Almighty! YOU WERE CHOSEN, TO PREACH The Gospel OF Jesus Christ, TO EVERYONE, WHO Has Ears TO HEAR AND Eyes TO SEE THE TRUTH! YOU WERE CHOSEN TO Share The Gospel OF Jesus Christ, WITH Yet-To-Be-Believers, FALSE Teachers, FALSE Believers, Unbelievers, AND Believers, as well.

Just as Paul RECEIVED His REVELATION, FROM Jesus Christ; YOU ALSO, RECEIVE Your Own Personal REVELATION, FROM Jesus Christ, THROUGH The Holy Spirit. Taking THIS, One Step Further, YOU ALSO RECEIVE Your Own Personal REVELATION, FROM GOD Almighty, THROUGH HIS WORDS YOU READ (IN The Holy Bible), BUT ALSO, THROUGH What GOD Almighty REVEALS TO Your Heart, AS YOU READ HIS WORDS (IN The Holy Bible)! So, Let’s look at it, THIS WAY, Jesus Christ WALKS WITH Us, The Holy Spirit TEACHES Us, AND GOD Almighty WATCHES OVER Us, Always!

Therefore, We (Believers) Have NO NEED, That ANYONE (Mankind) TEACH Us, WHEN IT COMES TO GOD Almighty, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, AND The Holy Bible, BECAUSE We ALREADY HAVE THE BEST TEACHERS, We COULD EVER HAVE (GOD Almighty, Jesus Christ, AND The Holy Spirit)! Now, This Does NOT Mean, That We Can NOT LEARN, FROM Each Other (Fellow Believers), Because We Absolutely CAN! After All, GOD Almighty REVEALS HIS WILL, TO EACH OF Us, Individually, Sometimes MEANT ONLY For Us, BUT Other Times, MEANT TO BE SHARED WITH EVERYONE (Believers). AND We ARE NOT All Pastors OR Teachers, THESE (Fellow Believers) ARE SPECIFICALLY TASKED, WITH Giving Us KNOWLEDGE, Which GOD Almighty, Jesus Christ, AND The Holy Spirit REVEAL TO Them (Pastors and Teachers).

Matthew 5:16

LET Your (Believers) LIGHT SO SHINE, BEFORE Men, That They May SEE Your (Believers) GOOD WORKS AND GLORIFY Your Father (GOD Almighty), IN Heaven.

The Being Caught Up Together May Occur IN The Next Millisecond, So, There IS NO Time TO Waste, GET OUT There, Show YOU Care, AND Share The Gospel OF Jesus Christ.
