(Plight of the Persecuted) A recent article by the Assyrian National News Agency,  points out that Iraq and Syria are in the top 7 countries persecuting Christians. 

We all should be aware by now of the genocide that has taken place by DAESH, in the Middle east and Africa by those claiming allegiances to this demonic ideology. 

But what caught my eye was the detailed report cited by ACN (Aid to the Church In Need)  They detailed the destabilization of this region by religious beliefs mainly Shia and Sunni.  Iran is one of those countries.  Imprisoning and torturing Christians.  They list it as discrimination.  And one thing lacking is the human rights abuses by Iran on women, political prisoners and other Muslim minorities like the Bahai. 
But they do lay out the destabilization and alliances from the Shia countries who appear to actually be a minority. 

When you step back and look at the whole picture you begin to see how the Arab Spring actually destabilized an entire region.  Not as it was portrayed to people of the West.
The Arab Spring, set 1/4 of the world into chaos and war.  And only now is truth begginning to surface for those who search.  Aleppo is a field of death and the stench reaches all the way to the US. 

The West unleashed a ferocious beast, creating a massive refugee crises and slaughter of religious minorities to destabilize a region simply for greed and the re-drawing of borders.  Only the King of Jordan is calling this what it is, a religious war.

In Iraq, crucifixions, beheadings, rape and slaughter have caused millions to flee their homeland.
Iran’s recent revitalization started by the 5+1 has further undermined stability in the region.  Casting fear instead of peace and calm.

According to the ACN’S report, in Iran as of February 2016, 90 Christians were either in prison or awaiting trial for their beliefs.  While other human rights organizations detail the arrest of women rights activists, and others who dare to call for freedom.
Iran’s list of abuses are horrendous, Capitol punishments such as blindings, amputations, lashes and hangings top the list.
 
The ACN report says that “the 20th and 21st centuries have seen the rise of radical Sunni movements such as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt,the Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia,  and Al-Queda and DAESH in Syria and other regions. This Sunni extremism has been countered by the ascent of the revolutionary Shia regime of the Ayatollah in Iran, which has indisputably exacerbated hostility between the Shia and sunni.  With the recent lifting of sanctions, Iran has become an even more serious challenger of the Sunni monarchy’s in the Middle East.”

We can’t overlook China and North Korea, and Pakistan.  Pakistan is rife with persecution of Christians.  Those who fled to countries like Thailand and Malaysia are finding that they fled into more persecution by host countries. 
We are hearing from those on the ground in these areas, like Pakistan, Iran, and Africa and the persecution has reached all time highs and all pleas for help are ignored by the UNHCR. 

The UNHCR recently highlighted the abuses by Iran, but no follow up demands have been voiced  yet.  Except by a few lawmakers in the US who want Iran sanctions to be in place for 10 more years.  No calls for Pakistan to release a Christian woman sentenced to death for blasphemy.  No calls only silence. 

Nigeria is teetering on the brink as the new leader there moves to institute Sharia law, including the blasphemy law.
Where is the voice of Humanity in this so called modern world?? Where is the voice of Humanity as the world watches slaughter and genocide and the starving of whole communities from Nigeria to Syria??

PRAYER IS OUR MOST POWERFUL WEAPON

10 REASONS TO BELIEVE IN HEAVEN + + + BY CROSSWALK

“Heaven is a fairy tale for people afraid of the dark.”  –Stephen Hawking

I’m afraid of the dark.

If we’re talking about the endless kind of darkness that offers no light anywhere, no hope ever, and nothing but nothingness, who among us would not panic at the thought of that?

I expect people like Mr. Hawking simply find the idea of Heaven too good to be true, and thus conclude that it must be a product of man’s delusional yearning for “pie in the sky by and by.”

And yet, there are solid reasons for reasonable people to believe in the concept of a Heavenly home after this earthly life. Here are some that mean a lot to me. By no means is this list exhaustive. It’s simply my thinking on the subject.

One. Jesus believed in Heaven. In fact, He claimed to be a native.

The Lord said to Nicodemus, “No one has been to Heaven except the One who came from there, even the Son of Man.” (John 3:13). No one knows a place like a native.

Jesus told the dying thief, “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43).  So, wherever we go when we die, it’s a paradise.

True, He left us a thousand unanswered questions on the subject, but what He told us is pure gold. For instance, when He returns, the dead in Christ accompany Him (I Thessalonians 4:14). It appears that our eventual destination is somewhere different from the initial, intermediate place called “Paradise,” but we have no trouble leaving the details to Him. After all, we can trust the One who died for us.

Two. Scripture consistently teaches the existence of Heaven. We must not let people get by with saying the Old Testament knew nothing of Heaven. “I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever,” said David in everyone’s favorite psalm. Or this one: “As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I will be satisfied with Thy likeness when I awake” (Psalm 17:15).

Job said, “My Redeemer liveth and at last shall stand upon the earth; yet even after my skin is destroyed, yet from my flesh I shall see God; whom I myself shall behold, and whom my eyes shall see and not another” (Job 19:25-27).

Neither must we cave to those who say the only way to understand such verses is to get inside the mind of the one who said those words originally, as if what they said is determinative and authoritative. Peter said the prophets said more than they understood and even angels couldn’t fathom some of these things. (I Peter 1:12).

Three. I believe in Heaven because I believe in earth. It’s so wonderful. There is nothing else like it in the universe.

Suppose we lived in some distant world and all we knew was the planets we have seen–the barren, rocky planets that are molten in the day and frigid at night, those covered with acidic clouds or endless hurricanes–and if someone told us about earth, with its steadiness, its atmosphere, its lovely scenery and its plant life and the richness of its minerals and a thousand other delights, we would find it hard to believe.

And yet here it is. We are residents of this amazing planet.

We take the earth in stride because it’s all we know. But it is truly the gem of the universe.

Four. There has to be a heaven to even up the earthly hell God’s most faithful sometimes endure for Jesus’ sake.

Those of us who are “carried to the skies on flowery beds of ease,” to use Isaac Watts’ unforgettable image, have little idea of the price some have paid for their loyalty to Jesus Christ through the centuries. Many live under oppressive regimes in our day, punished for doing nothing more than meeting in someone’s living room to worship or giving a friend a Bible. I’m tempted to say “God owes them, big time,” but don’t want to be presumptuous or blasphemous.

“God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love that you have shown toward His name in having ministered to the saints, and in still ministering” is how Hebrews 6:10puts it. If God were not to reward the faithfulness of the most loyal, it would be sin on His part.

After all, “this momentary light affliction is working for us an exceeding weight of glory far beyond all comparison” says 2 Corinthians 4:17.

Five. Every caterpillar/butterfly testifies to our heavenly future.

Suppose we could inform that caterpillar crawling across a leaf of the glorious future just ahead of him (it?). Would that humble creature believe he (it) would someday have gorgeous wings and flit through the sky? So, why do we have such difficulty believing in the destiny God has planned for and promised to His own?

Six. I believe in Heaven because the alternative is despair.

“I would have despaired had I not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13). This world, by the way, is not the land of the living, but is the land of the dying.  The “land of the living” is just over the next ridge, immediately following our final breath here.

Jesus said, “Because I live, you too shall live.”

Who among us has not grieved at the thought of never seeing a precious loved one again, as we have left the cemetery.  The alternative to faith is despair.

Seven. I believe in Heaven because some of the best people who ever lived believed in Heaven.

Jim and Elisabeth Elliot. Corrie ten Boom. Billy Graham. My mama. My grandmother. Marguerite Briscoe. Maybelle Montgomery.

Eight. I believe in Heaven because I believe in hell.

There has to be a hell. Otherwise, the Hitlers and Stalins have pulled a fast one and gotten off scot-free. After slaughtering untold millions, they paid for their misdeeds with their own death? Not hardly. The death of such a pip-squeak could not begin to compensate for the endless multitudes whose deaths they were responsible for. There has to be a hell, otherwise there is no justice in the universe.

And I believe in justice. So I have to believe in Heaven.

Nine. I believe in Heaven because it’s a great incentive to responsible living and compassionate everything.

Skeptics will point to the shallow sayings of some believers that for the Heaven-bound this world does not matter, and that improving life on Earth is just so much arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Those who say such are wrong, their thinking unbiblical, their teachings misleading.  We have great responsibilities here in this life, and it’s not just to get people to (ahem) “pray the sinner’s prayer” so they can go to heaven. We were commissioned to make disciples, a far bigger thing.

“The heavens are the heavens of the Lord,” says Psalm 115:16, “but the earth He has given to the sons of men.” We are stewards of this planet, and thus answerable to Him. I’ll go so far as to say those who are working to give the planet clean air and pure water are also doing the work of the Lord in their own way.

Ten. I believe in Heaven because of reasons I’m yet to discover. 

There is so much more.

As some have said, we are “hard-wired” to believe in God and likewise in Heaven. I willingly accept that and see it as residue of the creation. The God who made us created us with a longing for Himself and a satisfaction in nothing less.

When we get to Heaven, we will finally be satisfied, but not until then. “I shall be satisfied with Thy likeness when I awake” (Psalm 17:15).

“I go to prepare a place for you,” said our Lord. “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”(John 14:3).

If it were not so, I would have told you.

Jesus said that. I believe Him.

I choose to believe.

Fellow Believers, These Scriptures BUILD UPON Each Other, TO PUT The Pieces OF GOD Almighty’s Ultimate Plan FOR Believers Together into what I refer to as, “The Being Caught Up Together.” I use THIS PHRASE based upon 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

“Then, We (Living Believers) who are alive and remain, shall be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER, with Them (The Dead IN Christ), in the clouds, to meet THE LORD (Jesus Christ) in the air.”

As We know, the word “Rapture” does NOT literally appear in The Holy Bible (NKJV), but the phrase, “Caught Up Together” DOES, and so, that is why I use it, instead of “The Rapture.”

Fellow Believers, We are LIVING in The End Times (The Last Days) and Our Time IN This World (Satan’ World) is quickly coming to an end, and We ARE Truly Looking Forward TO, YES, YEARNING TO HEAR, THE TRUMPET OF GOD Almighty AND HEARING THE WORDS, “COME UP HERE!”

The Being Caught Up Together May Occur IN The Next Millisecond. SO, There IS NO Time TO Waste, GET OUT There, Show YOU Care, AND Share The Gospel OF Jesus Christ.

There are millions of people out there without Jesus Christ, you and I cannot just fold our arms and watch them perish when you and I were actually sent by our Lord and Saviour to go into all the world and to preach the Gospel. Selah

Words of Jesus Christ in John: 20:21: Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Underline this in your Bible: As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Brothers, Sisters, men and women of God you and I were sent by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to go into all the world and to preach the Gospel.

Jesus Christ says in Matthew: 28:19: 20: GO ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Words of Jesus Christ in Mark: 16:15:16: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus you and I were sent into all the world to preach the Gospel and to win souls into His marvellous Kingdom.

What can Jesus Christ do or say again in order for you to go soul winning or to do your divine assignment?

Apostle Paul says in Romans: 10:14:15: How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

#The Beautiful feet are not the curly and girly looking ones, but are the Ones Upon the Mountains Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and Winning Souls into His marvellous Kingdom. (See: Isaiah: 52:7, Romans: 10:15, Nahum: 1:15)

HOW SHALL THEY HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER?

You and I were sent by Jesus Christ into all the world and to Preach His Gospel.

Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, are you going where you were sent?

Jesus Christ says: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

ARE YOU GOING WHERE YOU WERE SENT? ARE YOU WINNING SOULS INTO GOD’S KINGDOM?

THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR YOU! GO SOUL WINNING TODAY! GO NOW!

ARE YOU PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST?

The Bible says in 1 Samuel:15:22: 23: And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Underline this in your Bible: Behold, to Obey is Better than Sacrifice, and to Hearken than the fat of rams.

Words of Jesus Christ in Luke: 15:7: I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Luke: 15:10 says: Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

HERE IS HELP ON HOW TO EVANGELISE.

We are Preparing God's people to meet to Lord Jesus Christ in the air. (1Thessalonians:4:16:18, 1Corinthians:15:51:53)

We are in the VERY LAST DAYS. We are ONLY waiting for the trumpet to sound.

Therefore be READY beloved Brothers, Sisters, Men and Women of God!
(See: Matthew: 24:44, Mark: 13:32:37, 1Thessalonians:5:1:9)

Take this message to the streets of your community, your College and University then share it with every man, woman, boy and girl who will listen.

There are no rules, you just preach the Gospel (Good News), to everyone who will listen to you.

First and foremost, Pray before you leave your house, as you do every other day. Take your Bible with you and some Gospel tracts if you do have them.

Politely approach someone, start by greeting and introducing yourself to him or to her: For instance, I am Sister Sharon from Peace and Joy Church, may I share God's word with you? Bear in mind the worst thing they can say to you is no, I don't have time, or I am in a hurry. Etc.

They will not say to you no, you are under arrest for talking about God. If they are in a hurry, give them one of the gospel tracts, and say Jesus loves you.

If you do not have Gospel tracts, just say Jesus loves you. That could be just what the person needed to hear on that particular day.

If they reject you, it's not you that they are rejecting; it's Jesus who sent you.
(See: Luke: 10:16, Matthew: 10:40, John: 13:20)

If they say yes, then start with the PROBLEM: No matter how perfect a life we lead, we've all sinned and fallen short of God's glorious standard. (Romans: 3:23).

The PENALTY: If the Problem for us all is sin, what then is the penalty? The Bible clearly states that the penalty is death. (Romans: 6:23)

The PAYMENT: God showed His great love for us by sending Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners, (Romans: 5:8, John: 3:16) but as sinners we have a part to play. This part comes as a decision to change the way we live our lives.

The PROMISE: That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
(Romans: 10:9:10) Saved from eternity without Him, but also saved from a life of mediocrity. Jesus paid the price of your sin, now He wants to put your name in His Book of Life and seal it. God is ready to bless you and enrich every area of your life! That's His Promise to you.

You ask the person if he or she would like to accept Jesus as his or her Lord and Saviour.

If they say yes, lead him or her in the prayer of salvation, and congratulate him or her after he or she has done so; get his or her details, invite him or her to your church if he or she does not have a place of worship. It's very simple. If they are not ready to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, at least you have sown the Incorruptible seed of God's word in their lives. Do not get into arguments, if they start arguing, just politely leave them, and speak to the next person.

You can also memorize this short, but powerful prayer of Salvation if someone wants to accept Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Saviour. If he or she wants to give his or her life to Christ, pray this prayer with him or her, ask him or her to repeat the prayer with meaning in his or her heart. Make sure you memorize it.

God be merciful to me, a sinner. I repent now of all my sins and turn from them, trusting you to wash them away in the Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross. Make me a new creature in Christ Jesus, and give me power to live for You and to serve only You from this day forward. In Jesus name I pray. Amen."

Remember the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you.
(Meditate on these scriptures: Romans: 8:11, Acts: 1:8, 2Timothy:1:7, Proverbs: 28:1)

Remember the 4 P’S. Problem, Penalty, Payment and Promise.

A Warning, NOT To Turn Quickly Aside

Exodus 24:12, 15-18

THEN, The LORD (GOD Almighty) SAID TO Moses, “COME UP TO ME, ON The Mountain (Mount Sinai) AND BE THERE; AND I WILL GIVE YOU Tablets OF Stone, AND The Law AND Commandments, Which I Have WRITTEN, That YOU May TEACH Them (The Children of Israel).”

THEN, Moses WENT UP INTO The Mountain (Mount Sinai), AND A CLOUD COVERED The Mountain. Now, The GLORY OF The LORD (GOD Almighty) RESTED ON Mount Sinai, AND The CLOUD COVERED IT Six (6) Days. AND ON The Seventh (7th) Day, He (GOD Almighty) CALLED TO Moses, OUT OF The MIDST OF The CLOUD. The SIGHT OF The GLORY OF The LORD (GOD Almighty), WAS LIKE A CONSUMING FIRE, ON The TOP OF The Mountain, IN The Eyes of The Children of Israel. So, Moses WENT INTO The MIDST OF The CLOUD AND WENT UP INTO The Mountain (Mount Sinai). And Moses WAS ON The Mountain, Forty (40) Days AND Forty (40) Nights.

Exodus 32:1-8, 22-24

Now, when The People (The Children of Israel) saw that Moses delayed coming down from The Mountain (Mount Sinai), The People gathered together to Aaron, and said to Him, “Come, MAKE Us gods, that shall GO BEFORE Us; for as for THIS Moses, The Man Who BROUGHT Us UP, OUT of The Land of Egypt, We (The Children of Israel) do NOT know, what has become of Him (Moses).”

And Aaron said to Them (The Children of Israel), “Break off the golden earrings, which are in The Ears of Your Wives, Your Sons, AND Your Daughters, and bring them to me (Aaron).” So, All The People broke off the golden earrings, which were in Their Ears, and brought them to Aaron. And He (Aaron) RECEIVED The Gold FROM Their Hand, and He (Aaron) FASHIONED IT, WITH an ENGRAVING TOOL, AND MADE A MOLDED Calf.

THEN, They (The Children of Israel) said, “THIS IS your god, O Israel, That BROUGHT YOU, OUT of The Land of Egypt!” So, When Aaron SAW IT (The Molded Golden Calf), He (Aaron) BUILT an Altar BEFORE IT (The Molded Golden Calf). And Aaron MADE A Proclamation and said, “Tomorrow IS A Feast, TO The LORD (NOT GOD Almighty, BUT The Molded Golden Calf).” THEN, They (The Children of Israel) Rose Early ON The Next Day, OFFERED Burnt Offerings (TO The Molded Golden Calf), AND BROUGHT Peace Offerings (TO The Molded Golden Calf); and The People sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

AND The LORD (GOD Almighty) SAID TO Moses, “GO, GET DOWN! For Your People (The Children of Israel), Whom YOU BROUGHT, OUT of The Land of Egypt, Have CORRUPTED Themselves. They (The Children of Israel) Have TURNED ASIDE, QUICKLY, OUT OF The WAY, Which I COMMANDED Them. They (The Children of Israel) Have MADE Themselves, A Molded Calf, AND Worshiped IT AND Sacrificed TO IT, and said, ‘THIS IS your god, O Israel, That BROUGHT YOU, OUT of The Land of Egypt!’”

So Aaron said, “Do NOT let the anger of My lord (Moses) BECOME HOT. YOU (Moses) KNOW The People (The Children of Israel), that They are SET ON Evil. For They said to me (Aaron), ‘MAKE Us gods that shall GO BEFORE Us; as for THIS Moses, The Man Who BROUGHT Us OUT of The Land of Egypt, We do NOT know what has become of Him (Moses).’ And I (Aaron) said to Them, ‘Whoever has any gold, let Them break it off.’ So, They gave it to me (Aaron), and I CAST IT INTO The Fire, and THIS Calf CAME OUT.”

Fellow Believers, Evil’s Attempt TO Take Complete Control OF The United States OF America, Has Been TEMPORARILY AVERTED. That’s Right, I said TEMPORARILY. The Prayers of Believers, Around The World, Were HEARD and ANSWERED, BY GOD Almighty, and yes, We Should Rejoice For This Victory, BUT Alas, it is ONLY Temporary.

We MUST BE Vigilant, WATCHFUL, NOT TO LET Our Guard DOWN, for even a millisecond! PUT ON The Whole Armor OF GOD Almighty AND KEEP IT ON, AT ALL TIMES, Day AND Night! KEEP Praying, Daily, Commune WITH GOD Almighty, Always, Walk WITH Jesus Christ, Listen TO The Holy Spirit, Read AND Study The Holy Bible, Fellowship Together, Pray Together, AND Most Importantly, Continue Sharing The Gospel OF Jesus Christ!

The Events OF Holy Bible Prophecy MUST Take Place! We ARE Still Living IN The Last Days, The End Times, This Has NOT Changed! Please, Do NOT Doubt THIS FACT, For A Moment! Take Heed, WATCH and Pray, Always!

We KNOW, We WILL BE, IN GOD Almighty’s Immediate Presence, WITH Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, GOD Almighty’s Holy Angels, AND All The Rest OF The Children OF GOD Almighty, For Eternity, Forever!
