In the hands of God our Father,
through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,
by the power and presence of God The Holy Spirit in us,
we fly on eagles wings toward a destination
that is called Eternity, to reside in the New Jerusalem above,
explore galaxies uncountable, in the perfection of Jesus Christ
in whom, by GOD'S unmerited favor,
we were chosen, predestined, elect and called
to be born and live for His Glory in this time,
receiving through faith, to the extent of our faith,
unending blessings, unassailable truths, and spiritual growth ,
perfected at Christ's call to "come up".

MAY GOD OUR FATHER, AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, RICHLY BLESS US IN GREAT ABUNDANCE, FOR THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY.

IN HIM, WE ARE THE LIGHT IN THE WORLD. LET IT SHINE!

Salvation is Christ and everything we do in His Spirit is worthy of us for His glory. Our dead self was buried with Him.He rose and we IN Him. He lives to make intercession for us daily. For what purpose? So we can live our life from above, the one Christ secured for us as the Gospel so states we that we believe. What we received is ineradicable for it rests on Christ's finished work and nothing in heaven or earth or elsewhere! will change that unconditional blessing (John.Chap. 17).

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."( Jn. 17:3)

" The Next BIG THING ? "

I don't know about you but I am sick of all the hype for the next Big Thing in the electronic field !!!! Sick, Sick, Sick to death at how fast and how much all these companies spend on making everyone believe they need the next Big Thing in IPhones, IPads, Smart TV's, Smart Watches, Digital Cameras, etc. You know what I am talking about. Those commercials that show the guy with the broken glass screen on his Iphone but can't get an upgrade because it is too soon. Or the 2 guys barbecuing and the one shows the other his new IPhone and the other gets his, what looks like a Trac phone, out of his pocket and the other guys says that's "vintage". They buy the latest gadget, get it home, unwrap it and look up and see on TV the next Big Thing that makes what they bought seem out of date or obsolete !!!

I have a Trac Phone and I only know how to use about 1/4 of the things on it, just enough to be able to call & get calls. The only cameras I have in the house take 110 film, which they don't make anymore. This laptop that I am using we got in Nov.2010 because we needed a way to look at real estate listings in Florida, where we moved to in June 2013. Now I use it like the encyclopedia Britannica, as a look up tool. I have a few pictures on it but can't print. I used to be on FB but it was too crude for civil eyes to look at so I got off of that.

Trust and Obey

Joshua 6:1-5

One of my favorite songs is "Trust and Obey" because it sums up God's purpose for our lives. When we practice these two commands, a beautiful cycle begins. Trusting the Lord makes obedience easier, and obedience produces ever-increasing trust. Can you recall facing a challenge that was difficult or perplexing? If so, you know how important these two commands are.

When the Lord calls you to a task that seems unreasonable, you have two options. You can obey Him even though you don't understand what will happen, or you can become fearful and attempt to find a way out. Joshua chose the first option. Because he trusted the Lord, he disregarded all his military experience and adopted God's bizarre battle plan. Over the years, he had learned that the Lord is trustworthy.

The way we respond to God's challenging assignments reveals our level of commitment. We may feel as if we're right in step with Him--until He proposes a change of direction. That's when our resistance kicks in, and with it, the realization we aren't as close to Him as we thought. At that point, our decision determines whether the Lord will be able to use us as He desires. Because Joshua never lost his commitment, he continued to serve the Lord for the remainder of his life.

At times obedience is a struggle, as your mind runs through all the reasons God's path is illogical. Fear dominates and your will battles to comply when everything within is screaming to run the other way. But obedience is always the best choice, because the Lord is trustworthy and wise.

When David was promoted to Gibeah, he continued to live from his heart as he did in Bethlehem, faithful to his small responsibilities. Though he was beginning to taste the favor and esteem of men, he continued to be faithful in insignificant tasks. God knew this season of favor would only be temporary. He wanted David to learn to respond with humility and love whether in Bethlehem or Gibeah, isolation or the national spotlight. Often, the Lord will give us a certain amount of success to equip us for the wilderness years that are yet ahead. We will suddenly find ourselves in a position of prominence or leadership where people value our time and opinions. But that's never the end of the story. Life alternates between times of promotion and times of struggle, times of favor and times of difficulty. When we learn how to lean on Him alone in times of success, we will know how to find Him in times of difficulty.

Father, never let me lose sight of the fact that all I am and all I have come from You. Give me a heart of humility and love for You, and help me to be faithful in the little things. My source is in You, alone.

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." - Matthew 13:44-46

What did Jesus mean when He said the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field that when found should be re-hidden and then bought? Here’s what He did not mean. Jesus did not mean that the gospel should be hidden and not shared, and He did not mean that the gospel could be bought.

The parable was meant to show the value of the gospel that it is in fact the most valuable thing you could ever possess. That if you found it, you would sell everything you owned so you could have it.

However, the gospel is so valuable that it can never be bought. You could never have enough fine things to sell or offer that would equal the value. But that’s the beauty of the gospel! It is the most valuable thing in existence…but it’s also free!

This means that God knowing your inferiority, your inability to come close to His standards, came down to earth as a humble baby, lived a perfect life on earth despite temptation, and died a sacrificial and substitutionary death even though He was innocent, just so you could receive the gift He offers.

What is the value of the gospel? It is like a field with the finest buried treasure; you’d be willing to sell everything you had – not just yard sale type things, but everything even the things you need to sustain your life – just so you could look upon it. The good news is that you don’t have to, and even if you wanted to you couldn’t.

The good news is that Jesus died and rose again, so that you could have the most valuable thing in the world for free. The gospel had a high price, one that you and I could never pay. There was only ever One who could pay it, and He finished that payment once and for all on the cross. He did this so that those He calls can accept His grace and become His children and heirs forever.

As believers, do we really treat the gospel like it’s the most valuable thing we have? Do we speak of it to others like it’s the most valuable thing they can have? And do our lives reflect that the grace of Jesus Christ is free, or do our actions show others that we are still trying to earn something?

Intersecting Faith and Life: Reflect on the joy of the gospel today and every day…the joy that it is given freely and can never be taken from you, and share this joy with everyone you know and meet.

The question remains, "How can God be just--that is, true to Himself in nature and true to Himself in holiness--and yet justify the sinner?"

Because each man had to bear his own sins, all mankind was excluded from helping, since each was contaminated with the same disease.

The only solution was for an innocent party to volunteer to die physically and spiritually as a substitution before God.

This innocent party would have to take man's judgment, penalty, and death. But where was such an individual? Certainly, there was none on earth.

There was only on possibility. God's own Son was the only personality in the universe who had the capacity to bear in His own body the sins of the world.

Only God's Son was infinite and thus able to die for all.

IS JESUS REALLY CONCERNED WITH CUSSING?

Since starting this site we have gone back and forth on whether or not to cuss in our articles. On several occasions we have edited out an explicit word the day before we post. There’s a tension because sometimes the emphasis a cuss word brings can help drive our point home. But it can also distract and leave some readers hung up on our word choice and miss the point entirely. So for now we’ve held off. But that brings up an important question: Is it okay for a Christian to cuss? And should we cuss?

By now you probably can see where I land in this argument. Inevitably my bias will show through. But as in all things it doesn’t matter what I say, or anyone for that matter, it matters what God says. You can make other arguments such as it’s not intelligent, it’s lazy, it’s unnecessary… But I’m not really interested in those. They have their place, but not here. I’m interested in what God says. So let’s look at what he has to say.

This is IN THE AIR! What great natural event like an earthquake, or massive hurricane, or assassination, or which war in the Middle east like Psalm 83, or Isaiah 17 or Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38-39, or Russia or Iran, or a very destructive terrorist attack on our homeland...

which major event WILL BE THE NEXT : 911 for the United States of America [...OR ....THE WORLD] that will INSPIRE a movement in the population of this nation (and perhaps other nations) toward a new beginning in church attendance and renewed service to God and conversions into the faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior from judgment on our sins???

WHAT GREAT EVENT SOME PONDER AND WRITE BOOKS ON, AND MOVIES ARE PRODUCED, AND GIVE GREAT SERMONS ABOUT (like blood moons and the movement of the stars etc) MAKE PAY PAL $ FOR THEIR SELF PROCLAIMED WISDOM? AND "GOD TOLD ME THIS..."

THE MAIN EVENT HARDLY NOTICED!!! IS................

Israel thrown under the bus at the UN by resolution to DIVIDE JERUSALEM with it's benefactor behind the scenes (in the DARK) the USA. How about THAT for a wake up? No?
