We serve a great and amazing God in the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. While I may not understand how to "explain" the eternal Godhead, or what some call the "Trinity Doctrine," it doesn't mean it's not true. How many of you can explain exactly where Philip was transported to after he baptized the Ethiopian man in Acts 8:37? I have nary a clue yet I know God sent him somewhere. Now, how do you suppose I know that? Let's think....I got know now, God said He did.
There is so much I don't know but yet by faith and trust that God's Word is infallible and inerrant, I don't have all the answers but I KNOW they're true. I also have no idea if Jonah (my favorite OT story and one day I'm gonna write a huge post on what the Holy Spirit taught me.) No help except my friend Chaim answered one question and was that did Jonah sin by trying not to warn Ninevah. I knew he sinned but because our God is all knowing and never makes a mistake, why would He choose him knowing he'd sin? The long and short of it is that he had to be in the belly of the fish because Jesus Christ references it in Matthew (I believe). Prophecy demanded it be so. I also see then how Romans 8:28 works too...
Since God uses man for His purposes, and we are to be like Him, I'm going to ask you if anyone is willing to be either a full or part-time contributor to my blog(s) or even on a now and then basis. Very few rules except salvation by grace alone, faith alone, Christ Jesus alone. That IS the Gospel of Salvation according to First Corinthians 15:1-11. No works salvation or that we must "do" anything that could possible help us win God's unmerited grace into our salvation. The fact is, we are wretched sinners, deserving of hell and if we led 5,000,000 to salvation, gave tens of billions of dollars to the poor, speak in tongues, heal or solve the world's problems, we STILL didn't do enough. I LOVE GRACE. It is undeserved merit or favor. You want God's grace, give it to others. Forgive your sister or best friend even though what they did was so horrible it almost destroyed your life. They do not deserve it BUT neither do we.
I need you to write your own articles; share relevant articles that you receive; yours or others videos; anything and everything but I'd especially love for you to be willing to start an online Bible gathering. Since I'm not a minister or teacher, I don't want to call it a Bible STUDY but it sort of will be but just a bit different. We can do a group chat on hangouts, maybe find a private chatroom but we'll find a way. I want us to each pick a book, we read from start to finish before moving ahead, and we discuss what it means. It's my hope an ordained minister or Bible teacher will be willing to help lead us. We are not to forsake the gathering together and let's say don't try to win an argument with God. Not gonna happen. He knows though just how bad the churches are in my area. No Spirit, no fire and if it is, it's only because you went to a rock concert instead of a church service. Sorry, but I feel it's wonderful to be joyful in church, to clap your hands, praise His glorious name loudly and proudly but there is a line between "making a joyful noise unto the Lord" and irreverence. Way too many have crossed that line. Nor will I compromise His Word. All the churches within 10 miles celebrate and condone gay marriages, even performing them. You personally may be just fine with that and that's okay too. I have a gay daughter who recently got married. No, I did not attend nor was I wanted. However, it's not what we say that matters or how we feel about any subject be it homosexuality, adultery or even telling a white lie not to hurt someone. I get that. I do it. I'm not proud of it but ashamed because I can be honest without hurting anybody or disobeying God. If you disobey what He says, it is a sin and don't blame it on the gay couple either. You stand for God or fall for anything.
My hope is we gather together and talk, learn the Word of God and especially listen to His Word from another's point of view. It will be a great way of building great fellowship, edifying the Body and the Head of His Church - Christ Jesus - and hopefully learn techniques and solutions to issues we are struggling with. We all have sin in our lives and spreading the Gospel today is extremely difficult. I just saw a highly credible video about the true Church (the Body of Christ) is growing by leaps and bounds all over the world EXCEPT in the United States. People, America is erasing God from His own creation a little bit each day. We MUST come together and build each other up and be effective at our Greatest Commission. We better become better ambassadors because I don't want my Savior vomiting ME out of His mouth. People don't get the 7 churches in Asia were 7 literal churches at the time but many verses have multiple applications and it is also referring to the 7 church ages. We, my dear ones, are in the Laodecian church age. I know, I can't spell, lol.
Pray about it and I have so many Bible-believing, KJV only, sola scriptura and salvation by grace through faith alone people that if you are willing to write articles or share things we could make anyone's blog, website, group, page or whatever a powerful force to be reckoned with. We all have diverse gifts and bring them together and NO weapon formed against us will prevail. We have the sword of swords that cut to the heart without shedding a drop of blood. Not one of us can do this alone. It's vanity to try and a fool's errand. I don't care what minor role I play so long as I have one. Jesus said, "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand." Today is THE only day we have for sure for salvation. Let's get this most important job done and one well. I'm just saddened and shocked to hear it has to start in our backyards. Pray for America. We must bring Him back into our lives. He hasn't gone anywhere, we've strayed so far but God is our greatest GPS system.
