Wolves are running amok, unchecked and free to roam around seeking whoever they can to destroy and devour.  These are not my words, they're paraphrasing the words of Jesus Christ.  I hear false Gospels where people add "works" (like baptism, speaking in tongues, barking like dogs, calling ourselves "little gods", etc.) and I hear so many who attend these churches for the first time and are determined never to go back to church again.  They are hindering the Gospel and are a stumblingblock to our brethren.  We can't "save" or "win souls" for the Lord.  We plant, He reaps.  I know I am very harsh on false prophets and especially this "tongues" doctrine and those putting us under the bondage of the law as we are FREE, TRULY FREE, in Christ Jesus.  He did not die in vain.  He did it all for those who couldn't AND to obey the Law since He was born a Jew and for the Jew first.

I am going to say this and I'm sure it will offend some but it's truth.  I went to a full blown Pentacostal church by accident and it was so confusing and terrifying, I was never going back but thank God for putting me in a home where I was raised on the RIGHT Gospel so I wasn't deceived.  However, I found so much overt sin in that church but because a very sincere believer came to visit so I went to see her (WRONG REASON FOR ATTENDING ANY CHURCH, NO MATTER WHAT) because I knew the truth and felt safe.  WRONG!  Bad company corrupts good morals.  We are told not to partake or even give the appearance of partaking of sins or evil deeds.  Watch out for all branches of the SDA and Jehovah's Witnesses organizations.  Both are legalistic, teach outright lies and if you fail to "obey" them, you are banned, harassed and I was terrorized.  So I want to protect you.  The true saving Gospel is 1st Corinthians 15:1-11...the Cross.  That's it.  Trust and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord God, our Messiah with your whole heart, mind, soul and strength and know that He died, was buried and rose again in body and ascended into Heaven to join His Father.  You are then given the Holy Spirit, sealed until the day of redemption but you won't "feel" anything except maybe peace or joy.  You won't start babbling, running around or convulsing.  Don't sow seeds of "money" being promised a huge windfall.  God is not your financial counselor but He is your WONDERFUL COUNSELOR.  Blessings are better than money.  Enjoy and God bless you all.

CHRISTIANS WHO ARE DECEIVED ABOUT GOING TO HEAVEN? DOES YOUR CHURCH ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM THE GOSPEL?

I pray you'll read First Corinthians 15 to hear the ONLY Gospel and do a Spiritual review of yourself to see if you too may be adding or taking away.  If so, you are teaching a false Gospel and Jesus Christ.  Church is for fellowship with believers, not to fill seats OR fill the collection plate.  "For ye are saved by GRACE though faith.  It is a GIFT of God.  Not of works, lest any man should boast," Ephesians 2:8-9.  The Mystery is the Church/the Gospel of Salvation.  It's our greatest gift.  If you have not love though, you're nothing but noise. Repent and turn back to trust and belief that Jesus Christ did it all for YOU...yes, you personally.  God bless and enjoy.  Sort of goes along with my last post, btw.

SWIMMING IN THE SEWER

Born and raised in the fifties into a poor family in Oklahoma, we took advantage of every form of entertainment when it came available. One of my favorite distractions was summer rain storms. I always looked forward to heavy rain storms. Not only did they bring welcome relief in the hot Oklahoma summers but they also provided a natural water park for me to play in.

As soon as the storm passed, and my mother would allow, we would run out and play in the borrow ditches that were flooded with run-off rain water. As a child, we called them "bar ditches". It would be many years later that I would learn these ditches were called "borrow ditches." The name "borrow ditches" was given by the road engineers. When building up the road base dirt would be “borrowed” from the sides of the roads creating ditches that the water run off would be collected and directed away from the roads.

One summer a storm came with a torrential downpour and filled the ditches full and overflowing the roads. Seizing the moment out in the ditches that were overflowing with water all the neighborhood children rushed wading even swimming and diving into the ditches. This summertime ritual came to a screeching halt as mothers begin to run out of their homes yelling at the children to get out of the water and come home.

The heavy rains had caused the city sewer to overflow and was the reason the ditches were so full after this rainstorm. Rub-a-dub-dub and into the tub to be scrubbed with soap and bleach to ward off the feared typhoid that accompanies water contaminated with sewage.

No one in sound mind would knowingly swim in the sewer but as a child, I was not aware or capable of understanding the dangers of sewage contaminated water and rather than thank my mother, I complained about the bath in the middle of the week. 

Just as the sewage of the city invaded the borrow ditch “water park” the sewage of the world seeps out of the world and into the church. The spiritual mature followers of Jesus need to provide oversite for the fellowship to guard against the contamination of the world.

God makes it clear; there is nothing in the world that is not contaminated with sin:

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” (1Jn 2:16)

Church groups and pastors are inviting worldly activities and behaviors in the church in the name of evangelism.

The Gatekeeper

The Pastor of the church has the God-given role as the gate keeper to keep the world out of the Lord’s church, “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls.” (Heb 13:17) When the pastor fails to keep the sewage of the world out of the church, the body will be contaminated with sin and sickness.

The Apostle Paul, addressing the church in Corinth about the sewage of the world that had contaminated the church, observed, “For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” (1 Co 11:30)

When the sewage of the world is not just seeping in but is welcomed in by the “watcher” of the church, the outcome will be spiritually sick and broken lives of souls he is to guard.

Take Action NOW!

What action should you take if your fellowship has become contaminated with the sewage of the world? The word of God tells you first; examine yourself to see if you have been contaminated by the sewage of the world:

“But let a man examine himself…” (1 Co 11:28)  

When we examine our spiritual condition and repent, we can stop God’s intervention and judgment of the worldly sewage in which we have been playing, “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.” (1Co 11:31)

After cleansing yourself of the sewage, don’t get back in the sewer. If your pastor and church group has engaged in the world’s sewage and have welcomed the lost and their sewage into the assembly of the believers and will not repent, leave!

God’s word is clear:

 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” (2 Co 6:17)

As one of us, i.e. as one of the Divine persons, of infinite wisdom and capacity. Here is an evident proof of a plurality of persons in the Godhead; compare Genesis 1:26, and Genesis 11:7 as further proof of One God in three "persons".
Like our Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the church of the faithful is One body composed of many, formed by belief in one Gospel of Jesus Christ, identified to the world in a living hope we express through obedience to His word and the faithful works of our lives, that God receive all Glory always and unto forever .
Beloved's, let us strive in His love to risk all to get the Gospel to the lost that some may be saved who God has so ordained from before the world was made such as WE AS ONE BODY IN CHRIST.

This past Saturday, I returned home from our church’s annual Vacation Bible School. The topic for this year’s VBS was on putting on the full armor of God. When I sat down in my office chair, I turned on my laptop to check the website and look over a few final details for Sunday’s message. As I perused my social media account, one of the headlines told of a tragedy that had occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia.

White supremacist groups, Neo-Nazis, among others gathered in the streets of Charlottesville to espouse their radical ideas. Amidst their demonstrations, counter-protestors made their voices heard. Eventually, the scene turned violent as a James Alex James, Jr., 20, of Maumee, Ohio plowed his car into the counter-protestors, killing Heather Heyer, 32, of Charlottesville and injuring many others.

WHY WAS ENOCH LEFT OUT OF SCRIPTURE AND WHY I REMOVED IT

I removed this post because after listening to it's conclusion, I do not agree with HIS theories.  It seemed to fit his own agenda.  However, I am still convinced that this Book should be in the Canon and will be looking for good, Bible factual, articles/videos in regards to this.  I just don't believe in flat earth.  I cannot, in good conscience, share it with you but if you want to listen to it, you can search for it on YouTube.  I'd appreciate anything that upholds just my theory that Enoch belongs in the Canon.  I have no expectations or agendas, I just want to know.  God bless and thanks for your help.

THE 8 BELIEFS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT BEFORE MORMONS VISIT YOUR HOME

The following is a brief overview of the beliefs of Mormonism (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) believe, along with what the Bible really teaches, printed among the many articles and resources in the back of the ESV Study Bible (posted with permission).

 1. Apostasy and Restoration

Mormons claim that “total” apostasy overcame the church following apostolic times, and that the Mormon Church (founded in 1830) is the “restored church.”

If the Mormon Church were truly a “restored church,” however, one would expect to find first-century historical evidence for Mormon doctrines like the plurality of gods and God the Father having once been a man. Such evidence is completely lacking.

Besides, the Bible disallows a total apostasy of the church (e.g., Matt. 16:18; 28:20; Eph. 3:21; 4:11-16), warning instead of partial apostasy (1 Tim. 4:1).

2. God

Mormons claim that God the Father was once a man and that he then progressed to godhood (that is, he is a now-exalted, immortal man with a flesh-and-bone body).

However, based on the Bible, God is not and has never been a man (Num. 23:19; Hos. 11:9). He is a spirit (John 4:24), and a spirit does not have flesh and bones (Luke 24:39).

Furthermore, God is eternal (Ps. 90:2; 102:27; Isa. 57:15; 1 Tim. 1:17) and immutable (or unchangeable in his being and perfections; see Ps. 102:25-27; Mal. 3:6). He did not “progress” toward godhood, but has always been God.

3. Polytheism

Mormons believe that the Trinity consists not of three persons in one God but rather of three distinct gods. According to Mormonism, there are potentially many thousands of gods besides these.

However, trusting in or worshiping more than one god is explicitly condemned throughout the Bible (e.g., Ex. 20:3).

There is only one true God (Deut. 4:35, 39; 6:4; Isa. 43:10; 44:6, 8; 45:18; 46:9; 1 Cor. 8:4; James 2:19), who exists eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).

4. Exaltation of Humans

Mormons believe that humans, like God the Father, can go through a process of exaltation to godhood.

But the Bible teaches that the yearning to be godlike led to the fall of mankind (Gen. 3:4ff.). God does not look kindly on humans who pretend to attain to deity (Acts 12:21-23; contrast Acts 14:11-15). God desires humans to humbly recognize that they are his creatures (Gen. 2:7; 5:2; Ps. 95:6-7; 100:3). The state of the redeemed in eternity will be one of glorious immortality, but they will forever remain God’s creatures, adopted as his children (Rom. 8:14-30; 1 Cor. 15:42-57; Rev. 21:3-7). Believers will never become gods.

5. Jesus Christ

Mormons believe that Jesus Christ was the firstborn spirit-child of the heavenly Father and a heavenly Mother.

Jesus then progressed to deity in the spirit world.

He was later physically conceived in Mary’s womb, as the literal “only begotten” Son of God the Father in the flesh (though many present-day Mormons remain somewhat vague as to how this occurred).

Biblically, however, the description of Jesus as the “only begotten” refers to his being the Father’s unique, one-of-a-kind Son for all eternity, with the same divine nature as the Father (see note on John 1:14; cf. John 1:18; 3:16, 18; see also John 5:18; 10:30).

Moreover, he is eternal deity (John 1:1; 8:58) and is immutable (Heb. 1:10-12; 13:8), meaning he did not progress to deity but has always been God.

And Mary’s conception of Jesus in his humanity was through a miracle of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 1:20).

6. Three Kingdoms

Mormons believe that most people will end up in one of three kingdoms of glory, depending on one’s level of faithfulness. Belief in Christ, or even in God, is not necessary to obtain immortality in one of these three kingdoms, and therefore only the most spiritually perverse will go to hell.

But the Bible teaches that people have just two possibilities for their eternal futures: the saved will enjoy eternal life with God in the new heavens and new earth (Phil. 3:20; Rev. 21:1-4; 22:1-5), while the unsaved will spend eternity in hell (Matt. 25:41, 46; Rev. 20:13-15).

7. Sin and Atonement

Mormons believe that Adam’s transgression was a noble act that made it possible for humans to become mortal, a necessary step on the path to exaltation to godhood.

They think that Christ’s atonement secures immortality for virtually all people, whether they repent and believe or not.

Biblically, however, there was nothing noble about Adam’s sin, which was not a stepping-stone to godhood but rather brought nothing but sin, misery, and death to mankind (Gen. 3:16-19; Rom. 5:12-14). Jesus atoned for the sins of all who would trust him for salvation (Isa. 53:6; John 1:29; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:24; 3:18; 1 John 2:2; 4:10).

8. Salvation

Mormons believe that God gives to (virtually) everyone a general salvation to immortal life in one of the heavenly kingdoms, which is how they understand salvation by grace. Belief in Christ is necessary only to obtain passage to the highest, celestial kingdom—for which not only faith but participation in Mormon temple rituals and obedience to its “laws of the gospel” are also prerequisites.

Biblically, however, salvation by grace must be received through faith in Christ (John 3:15-16; 11:25; 12:46; Acts 16:31; Rom. 3:22-24; Eph. 2:8-9), and all true believers are promised eternal life in God’s presence (Matt. 5:3-8; John 14:1-3; Rev. 21:3-7).
