Spreading the Saving Grace of Christ Jesus. Giving God the glory in all circumstances and allowing Him to transform lives and hearts through the atoning work on the Cross. "For we are saved by grace through faith...Ephesians 2:8-9. Love and praise Him with all your heart, mind, strength and soul. Love thy neighbor as thyself and these are the 2 greatest commandments. For even Christ Jesus came not to be served but to serve and sacrifice.

WHAT TO TELL YOU KIDS ABOUT SANTA? (VIDEO)
Well, it's about that time of year and I'm sure the same arguments are being played out again on Christmas and whether we should celebrate it or not. Honestly, Paul says all things are lawful, just not all profitable. I don't condemn or condone it. I have my own unique way of acknowledging that one day my Savior was born and that's the day Salvation became possible. I don't do trees, not for pagan reasons but lazy reasons but there are some Biblical reasons why I choose lights and candles plus some flowers rather than a tree. If you put up a tree, I think it should be a family tree...one where the kids or grandkids make the ornaments and you make it for you rather than beauty. Kids love it. Santa has a bad rep. I hope this video shares some insights for those who want their children to have the "santa" experience but in truth. Best video or article on this topic I've ever seen. Agree or not, don't be a stumblingblock to your brother.

CAN A CHRISTIAN DENY THEIR FAITH: GREAT ANSWER(S) FROM "THE BEAT"
I'm growing in the word! This is exactly what I thought. Hope you find this a blessing and a help. God bless and love you all in Christ Jesus.
MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN? CONFUSED BY THIS? I WAS.
In light of John 3:16-17 this verse confused me and seemed like God created certain people to be condemned BUT knew in my heart, it was His failure but my not understanding. I believe this confuses others too and, like me, make them wonder if they've really been "saved" as maybe God didn't call us. After all, we still sin, have doubts and sometimes stray but always return. I strayed very far but never stopped believing in Him. One of the very few things I can say "good" about my previous life. I felt Him with me even when I said I don't believe in You anymore. Oh, I was angry until the Spirit sort of "told me" in His way, "Brenda, how can you be mad at Someone who doesn't exist?" The light turned on immediately and my journey began back to Him. It wasn't overnight and, sad to say, took too long but God's timing is perfect. So yeah, the once saved/always saved doctrine that causes so much division, yeah, I'm convinced of it. The seat of my pants may have been burned by the fire of hell but I'd have made it. At the time, that was fine with me but not anymore. I want rewards for my work NOT for me but for His glory. I want to know I did good things for His Kingdom and made a positive difference in others' lives. You never know when all it takes is a bit of grace to someone undeserving to change their lives. Never pass up on an opportunity to show grace. For it is by GRACE you are saved and GRACE will lead you home. I found an excellent article explaining this many are called issue that brought it into perfect light. Yes, you are called and have been chosen. You have ears to hear! God bless and much love in Christ Jesus. Show love in return by sharing the Gospel of Salvation in First Corinthians 15:1-11, esp. 1-4 (the Cross and shed blood of Jesus Christ alone). He is the author and finisher of our salvation!

Question: "What does 'Many are called but few are chosen' in Matthew 22:14 mean?"
Answer: This statement is the conclusion to the Parable of the Wedding Feast. Jesus spoke this parable to show what the kingdom of heaven will be like when the end of the age comes. In the parable, the king sends his servants out to gather the wedding guests to the wedding feast. But those invited refused to come, some because they were too busy with their own worldly pursuits and some because they were positively hostile toward the king. So the king commands his servants to go out and invite anyone they find, and many come and fill the wedding hall. But the king sees one man without wedding clothes, and he sends him away. Jesus concludes by saying that many are called/invited to the kingdom, but only those who have been “chosen” and have received Christ will come. Those who try to come without the covering of the blood of Christ for their sins are inadequately clothed and will be sent into “outer darkness,” (v. 13) i.e., hell.
Many people hear the call of God which comes through His revelation of Himself through two things—the creation and the conscience within us. But only the "few" will respond because they are the ones who are truly hearing. Jesus said many times, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 11:15; Mark 4:9; Luke 8:8, 14:35). The point is that everyone has ears, but only a few are listening and responding. Not everyone who hears the gospel receives it but only the "few" who have ears to hear. The "many" hear, but there is no interest or there is outright antagonism toward God. Many are called or invited into the kingdom, but none are able to come on their own. God must draw the hearts of those who come; otherwise they will not (John 6:44).
Second Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” God creates life, grants repentance and gives faith. Man is totally unable by himself to do these things which are necessary to enter the kingdom of heaven. Ephesians 1:4-6: “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” Salvation is by God’s will and pleasure for His glory. John 6:37-39, 44-45: “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day…No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.”
So, all of God’s “chosen” will be saved without exception; they will hear and respond because they have spiritual ears to hear the truth. God’s power makes this certain. Romans 8:28-30: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew (loved) he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
How do we know if we are among the few that have ears to hear? By responding to the call. Assurance of this certain call, this chosen call, is from the Holy Spirit. Consider Philippians 1:6, which says, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose” (Philippians 2:12-13.) If we listen with our spiritual ears and respond to the invitation, there will be fear and trembling in our souls as we recognize that it was God’s work in us that caused our salvation.

ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED? HERE'S WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
I admit, I struggle with this but IF we can, what would it take? An unrepented sin? If so, no one will make it. What if we have doubts? I dare say no true Christian hasn't had doubts. Unbelief? Then we never believed in the first place. We had a false sense of salvation and you never produced any good fruits. By the way, fruits don't mean deeds, repentence is fruits, as is patience, love, meekness, etc. Fruits of the Spirit. Many cannot go out and spread the Gospel due to physical or mental disorders. If sin causes you to lose it, then how many times does Jesus Christ have to die to shed enough blood to cover all your sins? What if you lie, steal or hate someone? When is Christ Jesus's blood no longer able to cleanse you? We should ask for forgiveness every day or every hour/minute but to ask to be saved after every sin, mistake or accident, that's Spiritual schizophrenia. God is not the author of confusion but of peace. If you have to worry about your salvation 24/7, is that freedom and liberty in Christ Jesus? Is that peace and hope? No. It's fear and worry, something that Jesus warns us not to do. Give your life to Him and He and He alone is THE only author and finisher of our faith. Also, why after living for Him would you EVER want to serve satan or money? Time to accept that there's nothing you can do, not speak in tongues, get baptized or share the Gospel, attend every church service or read the Bible that will save you. Christ did it all. Ephesians 2:8-9! God bless you.
How to be saved?
First Corinthians 15:1-11
Grace alone, through faith alone, through Christ alone!
PROOF OF THE RESURRECTION
Many atheists have been so angry with Christianity that they go out to prove beyond a doubt (Lee Stroebel, for example) that Jesus Christ did NOT resurrect from the dead and, as the Bible says, if He didn't, we are the most pitiful of men. It would make the Bible a lie. They end up proving beyond a doubt that He did. This is just a short video but go to YouTube and do a search, there's many of them that turned from rabid atheists to absolutely devout believers. He rose from the dead. Share and like on their YouTube channel, not my site. God bless you all and TY for prayers for my David. He's coming home tonight and there are no issues with his heart. God is good! Very, very good! Love in Christ Jesus!
SPREAD LOVE BY SHARING THE GOSPEL
FIRST CORINTHIANS 15:1-11
JOHN 3:16-17
EPHESIANS 2:8-9
THE GOSPELS
ACTS 8:37
ALSO, IF YOU ARE READING A NEWER TRANSLATION AND ACTS 8:37 IS NOT A VERSE, YOU ARE READING A FALSE BIBLE. PEOPLE MADE THEM REMOVE THIS VERSE BECAUSE IT SAYS "JESUS CHRIST IS LORD" AND THEY BELIEVE THEY ARE BEING FORCED AGAINST THEIR WILL TO ADMIT THIS. NEVER MIND IT SAYS YOU "MUST BELIEVE IT WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART AND SOUL." THIS IS JUST SAD!

HOPE
i'm going to end tonight's shares with what we all need a huge dose of tonight and that's hope. We can't live without it for more than 1 second. I hope this encourages you. Pray for those hurting tonight in Texas. We NEED some hope. God bless and love in Christ Jesus. Please go to YouTube, like and share from their site rather than mine.
share the greatest hope...salvation!
FIVE THINGS EVERY NEW CHRISTIAN NEEDS TO KNOW
What if your calling is just worshiping Him and being the light of the world and salt of the earth? What if we have many abilities? Not all are called to the same purposes. Grow in His Word and He will lead you when you are ready but don't be surprised if your calling is sweeping the Church? It may not be glamorous or life-shattering but it's a good calling. Humble yourself and obey Him and give Him the glory for all you've been given. Remember, He said the least of you on earth will be the greatest in Heaven. Love God and others. Obey Him and that's all He asked of you except to share the Gospel and be the light of the world & salt of the earth. You are worthy by His blood!
BOOST YOUR PRAYERS BY "THE BEAT"
I am so glad I found this channel cos I don't really schedule and time my prayers. I always try to pray for a minute first thing, I am so bad about saying Grace but I do say it even if it's after I eat, and then I pray as I am falling asleep. I felt bad because I don't do many "formal" prayers but yet I talk to Him constantly. It's like I wake up, say a quick prayer thanking Him for another day and then it's nonstop the rest of the day. I do formal prayers on occasion but I just talk to Him all the time. Sometimes I don't even have to "pray" to have it answered. Honestly, is prayer for us or God? I sometimes think it's for us cos He already knows but prayer keeps US remembering WE need Him, not the other way around. It's to create a personal relationship with our Savior and we pray without ceasing. God bless and keep me in your prayers please! Prayer is our best weapon!

ARE MEGA CHURCHES BIBLICAL? 7 SIGNS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH BY THE BEAT
Let us all be convinced that our churches are healthy and preach the truth and are more interested in salvation than money. We are not under the law of tithing and any church that preaches this should be a red flag. They should preach that we should give and give abundantly and most of all, cheerfully. How many people do you hear gripe about the collection plates and resent how often they're passed? What about resenting having to give 10%? Well, tithing was only in place when there was a Levitical priest. We are not under a Levite priest now. Every pastor I've asked this and admit it, they say the 10%'ers are losing half of the amount of money they'd be getting if they taught the truth because instead of only 10% unwilling tithes, the average giving is 22.5% of their income and tend to give to special love offerings very generously. Today, even giving 5% could cause a family to lose their home, not eat, etc. They don't go to church because of the guilt and shame that some pastors call them on in public so they're starving Spiritually yet they always, always find some way to help others. AND they do it cheerfully, even if it costs nothing but time. There's tons of ways to give and anyway, you can't buy your way into Heaven. Something just to think about and learn the truth of God's Word! Church should be about saving people, not buying better sound equipment or fancy cars.
Question - Which do you think God would prefer you do? Give a church a lot of money OR spread the Gospel to someone who needs it and lead them to the Cross?
DO PROPHETS STILL EXIST TODAY (VIDEO BY THE BEAT)
Oh, I can hear the outrage of the charismatics and Health, Wealth and Healing pastors now! Did the prophets heal? Did they promise you wealth and prosperity? Take money? The better ? for me is does the Holy Spirit lead you? Does He convict you of sin or give you the day/hour of Jesus Christ's return? I don't believe in modern day prophets in that new revelations of His Word is given. I believe He speaks but unless it lines up with scripture, you are listening to a false prophet. God lays burdens on my heart for others many times. He guides me into making good choices. I'm even almost (but not quite) sure He or an angel spoke directly to me but if so, it was meant for me personally, not to share with the world. No revelation. Jesus Christ also warns not to add to or take away from the words in the book. I believe we are given great insights into prophecy already foretold. Prophecy is also not to tell the future but to verify the truth of the Bible throughout the ages as it is fulfilled. Discernment is extremely important here. New doctrines? No. New ways to be saved or God really didn't mean _______ (fill in the blank). Ah, yeah He did. We change, He doesn't. What was sin in the beginning is sin today. So we can soften sin all we want to coddle the world and make them feel saved but continue to live in willful sin. Is that love? Sometimes love hurts. Love convicts. Love cares more about your salvation than your emotions. This is my POV and whenever someone says "God told me to tell you..." a red flag goes up. I sometimes feel strongly that God wants me to tell someone something or pray for them but God does not audibly speak to me. What does His voice sound like? And why doesn't He speak to me? He does. He left me a great book and if I want to hear Him speak audibly to me, I read the Bible out loud. Yes, He speaks to you but are you listening to Him or your own thoughts and trusting other spirits? Our adversary can imitate but cannot do anything else. But are there really prophets today? I say God can give anyone any gift He wishes. This IS His world.
WELCOME TO POST-CHRISTIAN AMERICA BY WRETCHED
Normally, his videos are fun and enlightening as he is (or was at one time) a comedian. He uses humor a lot and laughter is good for the Spirit. When you enjoy a sermon or Bible study, you are way more likely to remember it. Laughter is a great gift of God but, like all His good gifts, it's abused and misused. We find ourselves laughing or sharing and sharing things that maybe doesn't bring glory to God. I find humor to be very healing. I even play with God. Jesus must have had a wonderful sense of humor and knew how to relate to children because they flocked around Him. Kids do not like grown-up fuddy duddies. They want to play. Never be so grown you forget what it's like to be an innocent child.
However, this one isn't funny and some probably won't like half of what he says. You don't have to agree but I would think about it in light of what God says. This is about that Church shooting in Texas yesterday and guns/justice. Is it time for the churches to publicly say "no more?" We are going to protect our women and children first. Whether you are pro or anti-gun, that's your choice but how many people have to die at the hands of psychopaths before we stand up and say WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE? I say now is the time to send the world a clear message. Yes, I am very pro-gun and if I see you in danger, I'm not going to ask you your political or religious beliefs before I keep you safe either. It's the RIGHT thing to do and you know it! What is worse to you, killing one man hell bent on killing many or the slaughter of untold numbers just worshiping God? No one of any faith should ever have to fear being mowed down at their choice of where to worship. I have heard many "Christians" say we should start blowing up Mosques to exterminate Islam. Are you kidding me? Where does Jesus Christ EVER give you that commandment? It makes me sick. It makes them no different than Muslims who kill Christians and no, I do not believe that every Muslim wishes me harm. I'm not going to debate it. We are living in perilous times, people. I'm seriously thinking of starting a home church and/or Bible study or one where we gather at a park. God doesn't live in a building.
God bless and pray for the families and loved ones of those slaughtered at the hands of a madman yesterday.

Feel free to disagree with this and if you're like me and the thought of owning (or having to own) a gun makes you physically sick, I completely understand. I swore I'd never own a gun. Unfortunately, today it's almost impossible to be safe and not have one. I may own one, I may not. I don't ever admit or deny and to ask you will be met with "that's not your business." Guns or self-protection is Biblical. We live in perilous times and many people own guns who pray each night they never have to use it. No law-abiding gun owner ever buys a gun hoping for a chance to use it except at a range. I love to target shoot. It's a sport! But when or if we get one, I'll be one of those who pray about it a lot. So please, this isn't pro- or anti-gun. This is about people not in church who are considering finding one but are now getting too scared to go. It's about protecting our brethren and our visitors and getting down to sharing the Gospel and leading others to the Cross. I don't need or want to hear your POV on guns and if churches should be armed. Maybe 20 or more people would have woken up this morning if they had. Please think about it!

THE NFL KNEELING FOR OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM
Quick and to the point, I have heard many different reasons why athletes are kneeling instead of standing for our national anthem. Warning, this may offend some but it's my POV, not doctrine. I don't see how it's going to help. To me, there's far more effective ways...like speaking out...if you have an issue. I also believe it's done out of respect but if you don't want to, you shouldn't be forced. I'm referring not to the players here but to individuals. I know of one denomination (a cult) that forbids their members to honor our country or flag. I stand because I do. I sure don't worship our country, flag or anthem. We can honor it, not worship it. Many are boycotting the NFL and good for them if they feel led to do so. I stand with them. However, I just don't get the kneeling. To me, you kneel in worship to Almighty God in Heaven. Kneeling is an act of worship to me and so I will NEVER kneel to my country, the anthem, any flag and absolutely not to any man. So, if I ever run into the pope and he expects me to kneel and kiss his ring, I'll be starting a national incident, lol. I bow and kneel to The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Standing is fine. Covering my heart, I guess that's okay. I also support the boycotters but I can't. Why? Not because I love football too much but rather cos I dislike it intensely and have never watched it in my life. However, I will not buy their merchandise.
Now, for those that have boycotted the NFL, the businesses that made money because you had parties and ordered food and snacks are hurting. They haven't done anything and aren't playing political games. They need your money to pay their employees and the employees need the hours. Go ahead and hurt the NFL where it hurts most...their greed but to the others who just want to make a living and give jobs to people, have other kinds of get togethers and order food. Have weekly family gatherings with friends and families and not only buy your subs and pizza, wings and beer but include the kids and put more unemployed people to work. Ice cream is always a winner and add in a cake, you can always find somebody's birthday to celebrate. Let's put Americans to work again. Oh, and churches could really help with this issue big time. But a lot of pizzas and have Bible studies to bring in youth, have family days with games and sell it. It helps the businesses and your church. Use the money to further the spread of the Gospel. Do you not think God would bless it? Just something to consider! God bless and love in Christ Jesus!

Just a reminder to set your clocks back an hour before bed tonight. We get an extra hour of sleep OR maybe some us might just make it to church on time for once, lol?
God bless and pray that God provides me with a computer soon OR helps me get mine fixed cheap. I MISS YOU AND DOING MY BLOG SO MUCH. I believe He took it from me because my actions were turning into hate-filled comments on sites and while not cursing, I wasn't far from it. Love is the greatest gift but yet many of my posts on political sites were hate-filled, sarcastic and meant to hurt. Even saying "God bless you" wasn't really what I meant, I said it because they were mocking God and I knew it would make their heads explode. Sure it felt good and I sure felt morally superior but not for long. The reality of what you did sets in and rather than patting yourself on the back, you want someone to hit you in the head with a Bible.
We are ambassadors to Christ Jesus. He knows our hearts and we may say the right things or do them but if we mean them in a bad way, He knows our motivations. What does He tell us? It's not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes out is what defiles him. I thought I had a loving, merciful and compassionate heart and I do just not ALL the time. He wants ALL the time, friends. Love really does trump hate (not political) and who cares what some faceless keyboard warrior says to you. Please God, not man and although not as much fun and often painful at the time, turning the other cheek really is the best thing to do. If not, Jesus Christ would have never told us to. You'll forget the harsh words and they don't even know you. It's intentional and meant to hurt. As long as you let those words have power over you, evil wins. Say God bless and I'll pray for you but mean it with all your heart. However, I also feel it is our duty to God to defend our faith and our values. Did Jesus always use "nice" words? No. But nor did He sin. So if you are unsure how to handle a situation, but one that needs to be, God gave us His Word and all the answers are in there.
You CAN change the world...one act of random kindness at a time. Paying it forward also works. Living for Jesus Christ ALWAYS works. God bless you all and love in Christ Jesus and love others in Him too, especially your enemies and unfortunately these days, we actually do have many. It's not always personal (rarely) but they hate Who we choose to follow.

MORE NEWS ON PUTER
Unfortunately, my computer is too frustrating to use so my time is going to be very limited. We're getting a new one in early January so until then, I just don't have the time or way to really work on my blog or participate in groups. I was going to unjoin but decided not to. I will try to participate but when I have time on hubby's computer, I use it for Bible Study. I have not strayed and have no plans to walk away from this incredible life as I am not that stupid and live in a pit of hell again. So moderators, please keep my groups going and those I am a member of, I cannot catch up but nor can I participate. PLEASE be patient and if nothing else, we are going to go to a rental place for one or buy a refurbished laptop for $150 (which is far more likely). Hubby is expecting a $1200 bonus in December so please pray he gets about 20 more surveys in. He has to have 50 and has 30. All I know is this, God is going to provide me with a way. I really need to learn patience, a fruit of the Spirit, but NOT my primary Spiritual gift, not by a long shot. He's not an arbitrary God and has a purpose for everything and maybe He's teaching me to be patient. Hope is not an issue. I asked for a Spirit of meekness, humility and love and He gave it to me. Literally almost overnight. Not this fake goody-goody two shoes hypocrisy but I see things more clearly and realize His blood wasn't shed just for me and grace isn't mine alone. You want grace, give it. Live what you say and people will want what you have. Then you will be unstoppable in spreading the Gospel. Also, learn to listen more, judge less and realize that maybe it's you who are wrong. Treat others with love. That covers a multitude of sins and, as the Apostle Paul says, you can prophecy, cast out demons, have knowledge, speak in tongues of men and angels (the only time an angelic tongue is mentioned and if anyone could speak in that language, Paul would be him), if you don't have love, you are nothing but a bunch of loud, noisy and unpleasant noise. Okay, he didn't say it in those words but he did say he was nothing. Pray for the better gifts and LOVE (CHARITY) IS THE GREATEST OF ALL.

GOD SAID, MAN SAID
Sharing a website my dear David shared with me. He always is so good when he finds websites, blogs, videos that align with my faith, he sends them to me. He is such a loving husband, one who supports my faith and I'm starting to see some real fruits of salvation. If only his language would simmer down, lol. But as Todd Friel on Wretched said, NOT pointing out the "sins" in everybody, let it go. It's a sign of maturity in God's Word. Plus, while some words are obviously wrong to say, most 4 letter words we use really aren't curse words but rather just words. Only man can take something innocent and make it bad. For instance, damn is in the Bible. It means to condemn. Hell we KNOW is in there. Bitch is a female dog and if you're in that business, as I once was, you use the correct terminology. Bastard means illegitimate. In some instances, the word I hate most is using God and the word damn together, doesn't mean something bad. In the song, "The Pusher," that word is used BUT he's not using God's name in vain. The way I hear it and always have is he is asking God to condemn drug pushers. It's all in the context. Just avoid the vulgar and don't drop very many "F" bombs. Our mouths sure do get us into more trouble, lol. God bless you all and hope this site helps! Love in Christ Jesus.
VIDEO ON WHY WE SHOULD GO TO CHURCH, EVEN IF IT'S NOT PERFECT
Well, I'm sharing another video by the same pastor. Why? Let the video explain. Unfortunately, I saw myself in this far, far too much and my decision is made...I am going to church. Not the one I want, but where God wants me to go. If there is no light or you don't feel the "Spirit," then maybe YOU are there to be the LIGHT OF THE WORLD AND SALT OF THE EARTH. As one of my favorite YouTuber's say, "Just Think About It." God bless and share the true Gospel of Grace. Add nor take away from the Cross. Jesus did it all for you. First Corinthians 15:1-11.
However, if you are homebound and cannot get out for ANY reason, do not think for one minute that God will reject you OR He doesn't have a great plan for your life. You can work for Him in many ways. God is not a one-size-fits-all. He is our PERSONAL God. He knows you better than you do. God bless and Love in Christ Jesus.

ARE CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES OR JUST EITHER BEING CENSORED ON THE INTERNET?
The truth is, yes. This isn't a pastor I normally share for various reasons. A wee bit to into astrology/planets and date setting for my taste but this is for you. If you want to hear more from him, search for him on Youtube. He's got many and some I agree with but too many I don't. Use discernment as I feel he is genuine, just maybe misguided. Or I could be. He's not a false prophet. But the sad fact is, politics and religion are now married. We can't separate them anymore. Signs of the times, people. Watch! For He's knocking at the door. God bless you all.
WRETCHED RADIO VIDEO
Well, it appears my computer is half-way working again. So when it does, I'm going to use that time to do my blog and google communities. It hasn't been fixed so it could go back out but let's pray it holds up until I can replace or fix it. Just really need and want to get back involved. Also, I had a huge Spiritual battle I had to face. It turned out I am quite sure, the only way God can fight it...righteously. God bless and great to back.

SHABBAT SHALOM
As many know, my computer is virtually dead and my time on the computer is so limited right now that I don't have the time to do much of anything. We hope to have another one soon and then I'll resume my communities and blog. Please be patient and know I have not strayed from the faith. I also need more Bible study and less social media. I can get Twitter and F/B on my cell but not my blog or gmail. I do apologize and will check in from time to time as I can. Prayers would be appreciated and please don't worry or forget me. Maybe God knew I was spending too much time online and not enough with Him. He humbles and delights me with His ways. I'm happier and at peace, something I haven't felt before in my life. I have a bad anxiety disorder as well as not being able to sleep but I'm getting better each day. The only living God is so good.
Go see "Let There Be Light." I'm going Thursday night and the reviews are out of this world! I truly believe that this is the beginning of a change in the movies and television shows we will be seeing, maybe even by mainstream Hellywood. People are tired of the low quality, bad acting and the fact that for a family of 4, IF you can afford popcorn and drinks, you almost have to take out a loan. Over-priced and a waste of time. I'm not a big movie goer and television just is so bad now that I watch reruns or Animal Planet, but Pureflix is a great alternative. Sean Hannity from Fox News and born-again actor Kevin Sorbo made this movie. It's not of any denomination and bring tons of tissues. You will cry. Yes, even you men. So far, all of them I've read admit it. God bless and keep the faith. I'll do the best I can.

WHO RUNS THE MUSIC INDUSTRY REALLY? VIDEO
Just sharing a creepy video that some may be interested in. I don't know how to explain it but take about 3 minutes to see if it's something you want to consider. This is not something new and I've seen some highly credible news sites share stories about what music is all about today. I don't endorse it nor disbelieve it. Draw your own conclusions. God bless and pray for our youth. Be careful, parents. I see a lot of indoctrination in children's books, movies and esp. cartoons. God bless!
WARNING...NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SMALL CHILDREN AND IT'S GOT SOME HARSH LANGUAGE. I FEEL IT'S WORTH WATCHING.

ONE ESSENTIAL MARK OF CHURCH REVITALIZATION - SCB
by Mike Leake |
There is a type of shrewdness that is pastoral. There is another type of shrewdness that is Satanic. Knowing the difference is key to church revitalization.
Pastor Jim normally threw away all the ads that piled on his desk on Monday morning. Most of them frustrate him. He’s been pastoring this little church for a few years now. The initial growth which came from the “new pastor” is long gone and his hope is deteriorating every Sunday. They’ve plateaued and he knows it. So all those invitations to conferences about pastoring an awesome church serve as daggers to his weary soul.
But one catches his attention. He goes to the conference. He is on cloud nine as he believes he has been given the silver cattle prod to wake up his dying church. One of the conference speakers explained how his church grew from 125 people to 750 because they changed their music style, shape of their pulpit, color of their sanctuary, and the way they welcomed people.
Jim knew that such changes would be difficult for him to institute. He also knew that it would cost him a ton of relational capital to do things like change carpet colors and put in a projection system. He wasn’t sure his pastorate would survive the changes.
Thankfully, Jim had a buddy who was a seasoned worship leader with thick skin who needed a job. Together they devised a plan. Jim’s buddy would push hard for all of the changes that Jim wanted. He’d gather a paycheck for about a year, make everybody mad at him, and keep the pastor out of it. At the end of a year, Pastor Jim would have his projection system and colors changed in the sanctuary. Then he’d also receive the added relational capital of firing the music guy that everybody now hated.
Shrewd.
Also Satanic.
Jim hasn’t pastored his church toward revitalization, he’s just planted seeds of discontent and established a pattern that is going to bite him in the end. You cannot get holy results through unholy methods. It just doesn’t work. Ask the Israelites in Hosea’s day. You sow the wind you reap the whirlwind.
One could look at this and rightly accuse Jim of having a wrong focus. We could say, “Silly boy, the church isn’t changed by carpet colors and projection screens”. But what if we change carpet colors and project screens to, “hiring gospel-centered staff, moving towards a more biblical leadership structure, and healthier models of discipleship”. Is it okay for us to engage in deceptive practices and maneuverings in order to see more biblical things happen in our local church?
Listen, any unholy seed you plant is going to come back and bite you. It is true that God uses crooked sticks to accomplish his purposes. But those who are intentionally engaging in crooked practices (even in attempts to “be more biblical”) aren’t engaging in the right type of shrewdness or wisdom.
When we engage in church politics instead of faithful and holy proclamation of the Word what is really happening is that we’ve stopped trusting in the Lord. I’ve never once regretted time I spent in prayer or faithful proclamation. But I’ve regretted plenty of “wise” decisions that I’ve made. Charles Bridges is correct when he says, “Be in the habit of going to him in the first place—before self-will, self-pleasing, self-wisdom, human friends, convenience, expediency.” Trust in God’s methods.
Revitalization is a long and hard road. But it’s a straight and holy road. I’m not sure what you’d call the church replanted at the end of a crooked road—but it isn’t revitalized.
Be holy, first. Then you’ll be the right kind of shrewd.
