Question - Which do you think God would prefer you do? Give a church a lot of money OR spread the Gospel to someone who needs it and lead them to the Cross?
Spreading the Saving Grace of Christ Jesus. Giving God the glory in all circumstances and allowing Him to transform lives and hearts through the atoning work on the Cross. "For we are saved by grace through faith...Ephesians 2:8-9. Love and praise Him with all your heart, mind, strength and soul. Love thy neighbor as thyself and these are the 2 greatest commandments. For even Christ Jesus came not to be served but to serve and sacrifice.

ARE MEGA CHURCHES BIBLICAL? 7 SIGNS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH BY THE BEAT
Let us all be convinced that our churches are healthy and preach the truth and are more interested in salvation than money. We are not under the law of tithing and any church that preaches this should be a red flag. They should preach that we should give and give abundantly and most of all, cheerfully. How many people do you hear gripe about the collection plates and resent how often they're passed? What about resenting having to give 10%? Well, tithing was only in place when there was a Levitical priest. We are not under a Levite priest now. Every pastor I've asked this and admit it, they say the 10%'ers are losing half of the amount of money they'd be getting if they taught the truth because instead of only 10% unwilling tithes, the average giving is 22.5% of their income and tend to give to special love offerings very generously. Today, even giving 5% could cause a family to lose their home, not eat, etc. They don't go to church because of the guilt and shame that some pastors call them on in public so they're starving Spiritually yet they always, always find some way to help others. AND they do it cheerfully, even if it costs nothing but time. There's tons of ways to give and anyway, you can't buy your way into Heaven. Something just to think about and learn the truth of God's Word! Church should be about saving people, not buying better sound equipment or fancy cars.
