HEBREW WORD FOR TODAY - TUESDAY

Heroine...

Well, got a bit confused at first by this word until I realized it was referring to a female hero.  While I don't "idolize" man just God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, there are some women I admire greatly for standing up for what is right...no matter what the cost.  They are hard to find today but they're out there.  My "heroine" to me is my...

She was my port in the storm, my childhood advocate, but mostly she raised me in Church.  I strayed but through her love of Christ Jesus, she gave me the firm foundation on the Gospel, taught me how to please Him and though I strayed, I never forgot her words.  If NOT for her love, her acceptance of me and raising me in the faith, would the world have spit me out?  She led me to Him and I know I'll see her again.  God bless this wonderful lady who not only told me about You but showed me how to walk the talk.  God blessed me with the perfect grandma for me.  I miss her but one day...one glorious day...we'll meet again and I won't ever lose her ever.  Thank you Jesus.  Thank you for faithful grandmas that love and teach us about You.  Another great gift from you!!!

JUST CHECKING IN

I'm taking a break from the computer for a few weeks because of back pain.  I'd appreciate prayers.  I need to find a different way of sitting and I also want to take time to learn and do some Bible study.  Be patient with me and prayers are appreciated.  I want to make sure what I share from now on is sound doctrine so I will be prescreening everything I share. I've not gone anywhere, just need to study.  God bless and I love you all in Christ Jesus.  I'll be sharing some now and then.  I just sometimes can't stand being on the internet.  I don't know why but it gets to me and I have to take a break.  Be patient with me.  I miss you all.

WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO BY JULIE COHICK

Psalm 11:1-7   " In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain  ?  For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do ?  The LORD is in HIS Holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven:  HIS eyes behold, HIS eyelids try, the children of men.  The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence HIS soul hateth.  Upon the wicked HE shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest:  this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness;  HIS countenance doth behold the upright. "

WHO DOES NOT HAVE A "SIN RECORD" BY ABALONEKID

" For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD; " Romans 3:23
WHO DOES NOT HAVE A "SIN RECORD" ?
Sin has been passed down through all the generations of mankind and we, Adam’s descendants, have inherited a sin nature and both spiritual and physical death from him. Romans 5:12 tells us that through Adam sin entered the world, and so death was passed on to all men because all have sinned and in Rom 6:23  God informs us that  “the wages of sin is death”  (Separation from a Holy God (spiritual) in life and if one dies in their sins, an eternal conscious death after a physical death (lost sinners die TWICE!) decreed at The Great White Throne Judgment Seat of Christ at the end of His 1000 year reign over earth and before He makes a new heaven and earth without any trace of sin nor Satan any more.

Through Adam, the inherent inclination to sin entered the human race, and human beings became sinners by nature. When Adam sinned, his inner nature was transformed by his sin of rebellion (disobedience), bringing to him spiritual death and depravity which would be passed on to all who came after him. We are sinners not because we sin; rather, we sin because we are sinners. This passed-on depravity is known as inherited sin. Just as we inherit physical characteristics from our parents, we inherit our sinful natures from Adam. King David lamented this condition of fallen human nature in Psalm 51:5: “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”

God used the principle of imputation to benefit mankind when He imputed the sin of believers to the account of Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for that sin—death—on the cross. Imputing our sins to Jesus, God treated Him as if He were a sinner, though He was not, and had Him die for the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2). It is important to understand that sin was imputed to Him, but He did not inherit it from Adam. He bore the penalty for sin, but He never became a sinner. His pure and perfect nature was untouched by sin. He was treated as though He were guilty of all the sins ever committed by the human race, even though He committed none. In exchange, God imputed the righteousness of Christ to believers and credited our accounts with His righteousness, just as God had credited our sins to Christ’s account:

2 Corinthians 5:
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Thankfully, inherited sin, imputed sin, and personal sin have all been crucified on the cross of Jesus, and now by faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior “we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” Ephesians 1:7

UNLIMITED ATONEMENT: THE CROSS OF CHRIST MOST HEAVY WITH ALL HUMANS SINS

1 John 2:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (Unlimited Atonement)

Every sin of every human being born under the sun Christ died for that the judgment of God on sin He should pay for with His sinless blood being Emmanuel, God with us, in sinless perfection in human form.

THE CROSS OF CHRIST KEEPS A BLAZE TO LIGHT THE WAY TO ALL SINNERS AND TO "WHOSOEVER WILL COME" IS THE DOORWAY TO EVERLASTING LIFE WITH GOD & FAMILY OF GOD.

Romans 6:
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

WE PRESS ON IN CHRIST (Not Yet Sinless; Living In Christ By The Active Power Of The Holy Spirit;  One Day At The Moment When Christ Calls Us Up,  Glory Is Ours (SINLESS) ... Always!)

Philippians 3:
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

FROM ARK BUILDER TO ALTER BUILDER - ANSWERS FROM THE BOOK DEVOTIONAL

"Leaving The Ark On Mount Ararat" (Raffaello Sanzio - Palazzi Pontifici, Vatican)
“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” (Genesis 8:20-21)
Noah did two very interesting things when he came out of the Ark:
  1. He built an altar
  2. He made offerings to the Lord
“Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.” (Genesis 6:22)
As we see in Hebrews 11:7, Noah was a man of faith. He carefully obeyed all of the instructions that God gave him and he built the Ark to the exact specifications that the Lord told him. But we see in the first two actions that Noah performed after disembarking from the Ark a subtle difference. These two actions were voluntary, God had not given him instructions to do them.
It is very telling about what kind of a person Noah was that his first priority was to tend to the things of God. After spending  a year aboard the Ark, it would seem that the first  step would be to set about building shelters to live in and providing for all of the necessities of survival in a new, desolate world. But Noah would not build a place to live in before he built a place to worship God. This time, God gives no blueprint of what His altar should look like, nor does He even encourage Noah to build an altar at all. It is the heart filled with gratitude toward God’s saving grace that is compelled out of pure thanksgiving to honor the Lord of Heaven in such a way. What a contrast between Noah and the world that he had been born into: those who perished in the Flood had failed to acknowledge God at any time or in any way and here we see that Noah put God above all else!
Secondly, Noah made burnt-offerings unto the Lord of one each of the clean animals from the Ark. As one in seven days were a Sabbath dedicated to the Lord, one in seven of these clean animals would be given to the Lord, as well. We are told in verse 21 that Noah’s offerings were a “sweet savour” to the Lord, that is, God accepted his offerings. Like the altar that Noah built, we learn in the Book of Leviticus that a “burnt-offering” is characterized as a voluntary offering, not a required offering (Leviticus 1:3). Although the burnt-offering is voluntary, it speaks of atonement for the one making the offering. In Noah’s actions we see his voluntary recognition of his own sin and his need for atoning sacrifice.
Then we read something rather peculiar in verse 21: “…The Lord said in His heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” It seems that God’s diagnosis of the heart of man did not change after the Flood from what it had been before the Flood (Genesis 6:5). So what had changed? The difference was a recognition of sin on the part of man. We can only speculate, but Noah had likely made offerings unto God even before the Flood. But now, after God has judged the entire world, Noah’s offerings to God take on a whole new meaning.
Noah’s burnt-offerings to God represent how man will ultimately be reconciled to God. These “sweet savour” offerings point to the “Sweet Savour” offering that alone can make full remission of the sins of man possible (Ephesians 5:2). Man is still sinful with a heart filled with evil imaginations, but if we will voluntarily acknowledge our sins to Him and accept the substitutionary sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ as payment for those sins, we can receive God’s mercy and grace rather than His judgment.
To Jesus Christ goes all glory. In service to Him,
Loren

GRACE - DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY OUR DAILY BREAD

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.—Colossians 4:6
The US Masters Golf Tournament began in 1934, and since then only three players have won it two years in a row. On April 10, 2016, it appeared that twenty-two-year-old Jordan Spieth would become the fourth. But he faltered on the last nine holes and finished in a tie for second. Despite his disappointing loss, Spieth was gracious toward tournament champion Danny Willett, congratulating him on his victory and on the birth of his first child, something “more important than golf.”
Writing in The New York Times, Karen Krouse said, “It takes grace to see the big picture so soon after having to sit through a trophy ceremony and watch someone else have his photograph taken.” Krouse continued, “Spieth’s ball-striking was off all week, but his character emerged unscathed.”
Paul urged the followers of Jesus in Colossae to “be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone” (Col. 4:5–6).
As those who have freely received God’s grace, it is our privilege and calling to demonstrate it in every situation of life—win or lose. —David C. McCasland
Dear Lord, help me by Your Spirit to be gracious and kind to others and to represent You well.
Gracious words are always the right words.
INSIGHT: The grace we have received in Jesus is part of His mission. John’s gospel declares, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. . . . We have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:14, 16-17). He came “full of grace and truth” to bring us “grace in place of grace already given.” This emphasis on grace in the coming of Jesus was in direct contrast to the law of Moses that had become a heavy burden to the people of Israel. By fulfilling that law, Jesus provided us not only with the grace of salvation, but He also gave us what we need to live every day in Him.
How does knowing we have freely received God’s grace challenge us to show grace to others?

WHAT LIE DO YOU BELIEVE ABOUT YOURSELF?

Curiosity by the name of this video captured my imagination so I checked it out, thinking it was something strange I'd never heard about end times but was extremely surprised and amazed.  The title may sound off-putting to you (it kinda did me) but what it really says helped me more than any sermon I've heard.  It is 100% Bible.  You can't deny the truth.  It does set us free.  So, what lies have you told yourself about who you are?  God bless and hope you watch this short video and sorry about the constant commercials.

SHALOM AND LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS!

Plumber...

A Plumber's Tale, lol

FYI, the reason for a plumber's hinney always showing is because the heaviness of the equipment in their belt weighs it down.  They don't mean to "show their rear end," lol

God Bless and Shalom

GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION BUT OF PEACE...SO WHY ARE SO MANY CHRISTIANS "CONFUSED?"

Maybe it's my grief, I don't know, but God isn't the author of confusion but so many of us are extremely confused...especially me!  Who can I listen to?  What songs can I listen to and sing?  What denomination is best?  How can I tell?  So many questions and it depends on who you ask what answer you'll get.  Ask 50 people, you'll get at least 45 different answers but the worst one would be this...it doesn't matter, just listen to who you "like."  Wow!  I like Benny Hinn cos he promises me to heal me (if I give enough money and I'm not too sick - if at all).  I love Joel Osteen's message that God wants me to be younger, healthy (I agree to that to a certain extent but only by living a healthy lifestyle) and very wealthy because living week to week isn't all that much fun.  I love to "feel" happy so Hillsong will make me feel full to overflowing with the Holy Spirit and I may even be able to speak in a language no one understands.  Of course salvation isn't about feelings and emotions but that doesn't sell tickets to concerts or fill seats at mega-churches so that offering plates will be the only thing truly overflowing.  Then, of course Mike Murdock PROMISES me that GOD PROMISES ME if I send him (mike) $1000 plus that I'll be rich beyond belief!  It will literally rain down money in my living room from Heaven.  Kenneth Copeland can control the weather so next time my state is going to get hit by a hurricane I can probably send him some money and he'll just rebuke that storm away!  Why didn't he do that after numerous warnings about Hurricane Katrina?  Explain that to those in New Orleans and other states/cities.  Did they not have enough money or did you cash the check and trash the letters?

Image result for images for raining money

The problem is, if Benny Hill...I mean Benny Hinn puts his hands on me, or dares to kick me in the knee, it's not going to end well.  I don't want "my best life now," Joel.  Heaven is going to be so much better than this.  Mike, I can't steal from my debtors and please God by sending you money so you can buy more clothes, houses and cars because He said "Thou shalt not steal."  To the churches that tickle my ears and entertain me with lights and lasers, TSO does that and teaches the RIGHT message of Jesus Christ.  I "feel" something but not what you're selling.  Take a lesson from Dallas Holm.  He preaches the RIGHT Gospel, sings Godly songs that worship God Almighty and not man and his concerts are so NOT expensive. They are free.  Guess he believed Jesus Christ when He said we are freely given so freely give.

My Bible tells me to test all spirits to see if they are of God.  On the scales of right message and wrong, I weighed you and found you lacking for even  my low standards of righteousness so I can't imagine how much higher God's are.  Don't you know that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit?  Do we need your songs, music and light shows to "feel" Him? No because we have His infallible, inerrant Word to assure us that we are indwelt with His Holy Spirit and it's not about how we feel but holiness and righteousness whether we be at church, out shopping or sitting at home.   We can't hide from God.

Image result for images for God is not the author of confusion

Do you even believe in God?  Really?  Then do you not know that as a leader, God holds you to a higher standard than your flock although they will be found lacking too (the blind leading the blind) if they'd rather have their itching ears tickled than to hear sound doctrine?  If Jesus Himself walked into one of your churches, I wonder if He'd do to you what He did to the moneychangers in the Temple.  You are making merchandise out of us by selling books that compromise His Holy Word to soothe the world's "feelings" and to line your wallets/pocketbooks with filthy money.  Didn't He say "money is the ROOT of ALL evils?"  He also said it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into the Kingdom of God.  Why then would I DESIRE to be rich with earthly treasures?  Money and pride are your "god."

Yes, it is very Biblical to call you out by name.  If you don't know that then that tells me everything.  We are to watch over His flock and protect them from wolves.  Without making you stop, how else are we to warn them?  If I keep silent or wish you Godspeed, I am partaking of your sins.  So until you preach the right Gospel as found in First Corinthians 15:1-11, start teaching your "flock" that SIN is a huge issue to God and that it MUST be dealt with.  God does not change with the world nor does He change His mind.  Sin is sin and has no place in the ministry.  Stop urinating on my head and telling me you're baptizing me. Get back to your first love or make Him your first love now in truth and Spirit so you can be set free, along with your flock.

To Christians...stop doubting if someone is saved until they've had a chance to grow in the Word.  I do not know if President Trump was sincere but he made a public announcement that he got born again.  Instead of questioning it, pray for him whether you like him as POTUS or not as he should be considered our brother in Christ.  Presidents will come and go but the Word of God stands forever.

Another "celebrity" I hear many Christians talk very negatively about and that's Kirk Cameron.  I've listened to what he said 15 years ago and what he is saying now and guess what!  It hasn't changed.  He hasn't compromised the Word to suit the world or for financial gain as I don't ever hear about him getting parts in mainstream Hollywood movies or TV shows.  He's too "offensive."  I don't get my theology from Kirk Cameron or any other man.  I test it by God's Word to see if it lines up with scripture.  While we will never agree on every single thing, we MUST be of one voice and one accord on how one is saved.  It's grace, not works.  Will we do good works?  I sure hope so but it's the fruit of salvation that produces it, not to earn it.  Lastly, what IS "good works" to God?  I doubt it's what we consider good works in our imaginations.  Even unbelievers don't rob banks, murder, etc.  What sets US apart as a peculiar people?  Faith and belief in the death/burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, being indwelt by the Holy Spirit - a free gift of God at true conversion - and proclaiming the Gospel and feeding His sheep.  I'm sure there's more and some may disagree.  This is just my thoughts and just wondering why IS there so much confusion in the Church today?   One thing...WOLVES.  God bless, feed His sheep and share the Gospel so that others may come to know Him too.  Faith comes by hearing.  Much love to all in Christ Jesus.

PART 1: THE LORD OF THE SCROLL - FELLOWSHIP LOST @ BIBLE.ORG

I have used and shared many articles from Bible.org and find it very useful and helpful every time.  It helps us to answer questions from the Bible that may not have clear verses like "do children go to Heaven" or "what about the mentally challenged."  I even searched if our pets go to Heaven.  Ultimately on the issue of our pets, there's no verse that says one way or another and all I can say for sure is one day we'll find out but (and this is ONLY my personal opinion) is that the Kingdom of God is going to be so different than anything we mere mortals can possibly imagine.  We all wonder and maybe even pray to God to show us.  I've had dreams of Heaven (and hell) and is that what it will be like?  I'll know one day. Everything in my dream was alive in some form and nothing died, not even a flower if you stepped on it.  Even colors sure appeared to be alive (try explaining THAT, LOL) but did God show me a touch or did I just get blessed with an awesome dream.  We tend to dream (or hallucinate) what we are predisposed to believe and the few times I have dreamed of Heaven, it was nothing like I ever imagined.  Neither was the one time I dreamed of hell and if it's anything like my dream, it's not fire but judgment and eternal conscious separation from God.  It's lonely beyond imagination.  My torment was knowing I'd never again feel His love.  THAT was torment beyond endurance and whether it was just a dream or God-given, I wasn't there long.  I woke up immediately and wouldn't sleep for 2 days, if I'm remembering right.  It's not a fate I'd wish on Hitler, much less a friend I'm angry with so NEVER tell anyone to "go to hell."  You don't want that for anyone but the one who caused this mess to begin with.  His fate is sealed.  Sorry, went on a little too long.

I came across this series on Bible.org and while I can't say what he says is 100% infallible because no man is, but he makes incredible sense of God's Word and backs everything up with scripture.  Is he interpreting it right?  I can't say because I am not a Biblical scholar but the bickering about the age of the earth, whether science disproves/proves God's existence, is answered here.  IF you'll read this first well-written, Biblical article and you're gonna see something amazing.  I'll give you a hint.  It has to do with was the earth created in 6 literal days?  Yes...but!  Next, Einstein's theory of relativity that if we were able to break the speed of light that when we left earth and came back, 1000 years would have passed even though it would seem like normal time has passed for you upholds what God says that 1000 years is but a day and a day is like a thousand years.  Some may say you can't mix science and God but what if science PROVES God and that the Bible IS infallible and inerrant but our interpretation of "it is written" may be wrong?  For the record, I'm not a fan of science as a general rule.  However, today many strong scientists who were rabid atheists are now believers not only in an Intelligent Creator but God Almighty and His ETERNAL SON, Christ Jesus.

I can't dictate your belief system and if you want to remain dogmatic in that the earth is only 6,000 years old and created in 6 literal days, that's fine.  It's not a salvation issue but it could hinder the Gospel.  Why?  Too many people now put their "faith" in the "god of science and man" and unless we show them how that science AND the Bible harmonize completely with what we know today, most are not going to listen.  It's not going to work in today's world.  We are a lost, deceived generation and I fear given over to a reprobate mind.  So I'm not asking you to believe this, just read it (although there's a few things I question) but this world was given to the evil one.  If you read on, Jesus Christ's conception is undeniable and explains WHY He had to be born of a virgin and NOT a man.  Of course the main reason is He is God's Son but why Mary and not some other virgin?  Did God force her to bear His Child? Again, just read and take from it what you will.  Use discernment but have your Bible handy and always be open to the TRUTH, no matter what your preconceived ideas are.  This in no way waters your theology down but rather reinforces them.  There's a lot of secular (not inspired writing and/or not Spiritual in nature but NOT a bad or offensive term) writings and facts we aren't privy to, such as a letter written to Caesar after the crucifixion of Christ where he admits, albeit unwillingly, that he believes Jesus is the Son of God.  We Christians tend to only go by the Bible and we do well but to really help others believe and accept Jesus as their Savior, we may need to change our ways and this in NO WAY waters down the Word of God but upholds it in very clear ways.  God bless and I pray you take the time to read this series.  Don't do it in one sitting though.  Let it sink in, pray about it and test it.  The Gospel and the Bible is written for us today as in every other generation.  Now we have proof.  Click on the link below to read this wonderful series.
