I just read a great article on how to rightly divide the Word of God and wanted to pass along a tip or two. The Bible is divided into the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament refers to the covenant that YHWY made with them before the birth of Jesus Christ. Remember that they were blinded, in part, for our sakes so if anyone believes that God has forsaken His Chosen People, they are mistaken. However, this is something I knew knew. I thought the New Testament was the covenant that YHWH made with the Gentiles but knew He would never break His promises to Israel. So, to rightfully divide His Word you must divide it in 3 ways...the OT, the NT and the NT or New Covenant that YHWH made with Israel. It's not just the Gentile or book for the Christians. It's also a new promise to Israel. He has great plans for His People. God bless and Shabbot Shalom.
