SEPTEMBER 23RD? SHOULD WE CONSIDER THE HEAVENLY SIGN?

I must admit this is confusing to me.  I heard a pastor (general term) last night who said if nothing happens on that day, he won't know what to believe.  That is scary.  Believe the Word of God.  Isaiah tells us not to use astrologers, stargazers, etc.  Also, does Jesus Christ not tell us repeatedly that even He doesn't know the day and hour of His return?  Are we smarter than Jesus?  I don't think so and I don't think He'd hide and He sure wouldn't lie. WE CANNOT KNOW.   

So what will happen?  I don't know.  I fear a lot of people are going to be upset and many may fall away.  We can discern the seasons and times but not the days or year.  I do believe we're in the end times because of 2 things...one, my grandmother told me when I was about 10 that the Bible doesn't go far after the year 2000.  She was NO prophet and I wish I'd asked her why and how she knew this.  However, one only has to look at all that's changed since 2000 to see that the U.S. is divided and Jesus said, "a house divided cannot stand." That means we either come together on our own and work this out, have another "civil" war (what an oxymoron) or someone is going to come along and fix the world's problems.

My reasons for thinking we're truly in the end times has nothing to do with the moons, festivals and heavenly signs.  They're clues and warnings but I don't think we're being given the date.  Here's my reasons...

9/11
GREAT APOSTASY
Increasing terrorism yearly to monthly now to weekly
Horrible election and POTUS mess
Immorality rules
Watered down doctrines
False prophets and churches
The unusual activity in Vatican City
Benghazi
Political Scandals
North Korean aggression
Supposed Russian hacking
No journalistic ethics - fake news
Unusual weather
Heavenly signs cannot be ignored either
ALL eyes are on Israel
Iranian nuclear deal
Natural disasters
Earthquakes
Seismic Activity at Yellowstone
Large amounts of animal deaths, esp. fish
Nuclear meltdown in Japan
Trump winning against all odds
Liberal agenda
Homosexual marriage
Christian persecution and martyrs
God removed from the public square
CERN
Pedophiles demanding rights
Lack of empathy in most people
Bloodlust
Drones and other war machines
Filth of television and movies
Lawlessness
satanism and luciferian worship
Witchcraft and sorceries (dark arts)

The main reason is unless someone (and we know who that "someone" will be) doesn't step in soon, someone is going to start a full out nuclear war and we'll blow ourselves up.  I believe what Jesus Christ said.  I think these are signs but I do not think they're pointing to a specific date.  It may happen!  Be ready NOW!
