ATHEISM vs. RELIGION - DEBATE BY DINESH D'SOUSA (AND A FEW QUESTIONS TO UNBELIEVERS)

The video below is a debate between Dinesh D'Sousa, a well-known conservative (as well as out-spoken), and an avid atheist who does many debates on the subject of God. His name is Christopher Hitchens, who I passed away in November 2011. I pray he found the truth but from what I read, he never accepted Christ Jesus. He was also known as writing a regular column in a pornographic magazine,which I believe was Hustler but that's just an educated guess. It doesn't matter, they all oppress and exploit both men and women. I don't think there's ever any real winners in these debates. Aslo, D'Sousa wrote a book called "What's So Great About Christianity?" It's a great book. I highly recommend reading it. I do pray many realize that God MUST exist or else we wouldn't by scientific evidence but most will leave thinking they've been enlightened and may even leave the faith. I do have a few questions about this issue though.

One,if you truly do not believe that God is real, that THIS is the ONLY LIFE you get,why do you spend so much of your time trying to prove that when you and I both know you can't? I would think you'd much rather be out there grabbing all the fun this world has to offer, especially is you are wealthy. Why do you waste so much time? Is it that you make money from it and you enjoy persecuting and mocking believers? It shouldn't matter to you unless it benefits you. It certainly cannot be that you "care" about us, because if you did and we are happy, you'd be happy for us. Certainly to some extent, we are faith-based and take many things we don't understand on faith but not blindly, as so many assume. We are not dumb, blind sheep thinking some "man" said some good things and we made Him God Almighty. We can PROVE that the Bible is true in many ways. One is through fulfilled prophecy. Read Daniel. A lot of people thought Daniel must have been written AFTER the fall of Babylon because his prophecy was absolutely accurate. They did studies on the original manuscript and, guess what, it help up the test of time. While the Bible is not a science book, there's enough scientific data to uphold that only a Creator could know. We have certain infallible laws. Numbers are a constant and the Bible is all about numbers.

Isaiah, another major prophet, read it. It's a miniature Bible in itself. The first 39 books, just like the first 39 in the OT, deal almost exclusively in regards to Israel with many Messianic prophecies. The last 27 books, like the 27 books in the New Testament,deal with future events that some have yet to be fulfilled. In fact, Isaiah 53 is considered by many as a 5th Gospel. Rabbis skip this chapter in their services. It is not taught nor encouraged to study. Many Jewish people have began to believe that ONLY Yeshua could possibly be the promised Messiah. It's even recommended we learn that chapter by heart. It is a very good tool when spreading the Gospel.

Two, why do you care so much if we believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit? It makes every true believer a much better person, one you would respect, maybe even admire, but unfortunately many people take advantage of us and use us and if we say no, our "Christian values" are thrown in our face. They know the Bible and which verses to use to try to manipulate us into doing things we know are wrong. This happened to me and it took divine intervention to get me to stop doing what was wrong. Yes, unbelievers, we are to love our neighbors, do good and pray for them BUT we are not to ever be involved in the sins of the world. No, we are not going to help you buy drugs, go to strip bars nor cheat on our spouses with you. However, we CAN and SHOULD associate with you. There are many ways we can be a part of each other's lives. But, as with everyone, we all have boundaries and they should be respected.

Three, and finally, what is your problem with people of Christian faith? I hear from this world all the time about how we should allow Muslims/Islams pray their ritual prayers, wear certain clothing even though it could be very dangerous and deceptive yet their "religion" is even more faith-based than Christianity. Some have said they hate our moral laws. They're not our laws, btw. Name one of the 10 Commandments that you say are bad as far as "moral law" is concerned. Should we kill, cheat, lie, steal, cheat on our spouses? What is wrong with honoring your parents? They gave you life, they support you in ALL ways (monetarily, emotionally, etc.) and would die to protect you. Do they not deserve your respect and obedience as they've been through what you are and they see you making the same mistakes they did and try to keep you from making them. Even if they are strict and forbid you from doing whatever you want, that is a GOOD thing. It's a dark, dangerous and evil world. I live in the serial killer capital of the world. Every single day another child either goes missing or a body is found. Rape is on the rise and part of the problem with some of these issues is social media, sexting, and having unlimited and unmonitored access to social media. No child should have a cell phone where they can do anything but make a phone call unless the parents can put controls on when certain features can be used. Texting while driving is more dangerous and kills or harms more people than drinking and driving. Not to mention it's rude. When you go out with your friends, they should have all your attention unless there's an emergency. But don't worry, the Church today has very little say in what is and isn't allowed anymore. We were THE most martyred (killed) group of people in 2016. This doesn't include those of us who are mocked, ridiculed, called the "go to" words of the far left like bigots, racists, etc. Were not but if you call a gay conservative a homophobe, there's no way you'll begin to believe we are none of those things. Also, I admit there are people who call themselves Christians, like the KKK, but they are not a TRUE Christian. They are as bad as an Islamic terrorist. I do not support these people. Basically, we are pacifists but we do believe God allows us to protect ourselves. We are pro-2nd Amendment, we just pray we never need our weapons.

OUR MOST POWERFUL WEAPON AND WE USE IT OFTEN...PRAYER!

I don't really expect any answers, I pray for the unbelievers, share the Gospel and try to be the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world." I don't force my beliefs on you. I expect the same in return. BTW, that's one of the greatest things about YHWH, no one can EVER force us to not worship him. We have no need of special equipment, we pray in our hearts, sing in our minds and praise Him whenever and wherever we want. That is TRUE liberty and freedom in Christ Jesus.
