Negative thoughts only are not good, looking for the bad all the time isn't healthy and there's a lot of good in this world.  It's hard to find at times but we as Christians have hope and faith that ALL things work to the good...Romans 8:28.  However, having negative thoughts or worries can save your life.  Learn to discern!  We SHOULD look for snakes when hiking and be very aware of your surroundings.  They can save your life.  Sometimes the glass IS half empty!  God bless!
