BE PATIENT...IT'S A FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT AND...I NEED IT A WEE BIT, LOL

As I have stated and as you have noticed, I haven't been posting a lot or being involved in my Google communities except once in awhile and to moderate.  There are 2 reasons why.  One, I don't have the time.  I'm dropping most of my communities that I never went to and didn't even know I was a member of and many had 20,000 (or close) members.  I'd rather have 10 communities (other than mine and the ones I'm a moderator on) where I do have the time to be involved than being on 200+ and not being able to enjoy any.  It defeats the purpose.  Now that doesn't mean that it will be an everyday thing NOR do I think I will or should be "missed."  I'm no one special but the whole purpose as I want it to be is genuine dialogue and fellowship, asking tough questions and even agreeing to disagree but love each other as we ARE one in Christ Jesus.  I see some I consider the head or heart of His Body, others I see as encouragers, or the knee (big part of our bodies), even if you're very new and consider yourself a toenail or pinkie toe, is that any less?  Not at all and it is the duty of those more mature in the Body to raise you up and guide you because there's room for many hearts and brains in this Church.  We all start out as babies.  It's high time we start realizing that no matter what part you are, if one member falls, it affects the whole body.   Have you ever had a broken toe?  Let me tell you, it affects your whole body.  It hurts and it causes you to have problems walking, working, a whole host of things.  Have you ever got a paper cut?  One of the most painful things known.  Fingers are full of nerves and if you lick an envelope and get one on your tongue, wow, now that's bad.  As I love humor, sometimes that makes it hard to talk and that's not always a "bad thing" in the Body of Christ, lol.  But you get the gist of what I'm saying.  I get new members but they don't ask questions.  I wish they would and even those who are fully grown (or so they think) in the Word as we all will or should strive to continue until death to grow in the Word and in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Second, in regards to my blog, I went for quantity rather than quality and because I was so badly Spiritually abused and deceived, I had it in my mind to expose every cult, false prophet and church I could find.  I am going to continue sharing the danger of getting involved in these churches and will always do my best to back it up with God's perfect Word.  However, as it will continue to be a part, it is not where I truly believe the Holy Spirit is leading me.  I've been praying and studying and feel I finally know what will honor my Jesus Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Now I will be sharing my Hebrew Word of the Day, once a week send out the links to J. Vernon McGee's sermons and series once a week so you can choose what YOU need to learn that day and I may share his sermons a few times a week but you know how much I truly believe this is a true man of God and that what he preached in regards to the Scriptures and what he said it was saying back in the 70s and 80s IS coming to pass today.  He doesn't preach by the headlines of the world today yet when you listen to him, it sounds like he is.  Also, what I especially love is other than one very obscure and meaningless link, he is never called a "false prophet" nor does he ever make claims of being a prophet.  You don't hear him say, "God told me _________."  I like that.  He's an old-fashioned preacher known as the "radio pastor" yet to my knowledge, he didn't make merchandise of us.  Now he did make his Through the Bible series into books, he also taught them for free.  The reason he wrote the books?  He knew he was nearing death so before it got too late, he did this for future generations.   You can get the entire series for at most (depending on where you buy it as online you can get it for around $30 to $50) which isn't unreasonable.  He had no idea that one day we'd have free access to it on the internet.  He didn't do it to make money but to spread the Gospel and teach the future generations what the Bible says.  It hasn't and will never change.  What was true then is still true today.  I highly recommend the series and sermons.  Old-fashioned?  Maybe but I thank YHWH for that.  WARNING...if you're looking to "feel good" or be entertained, not gonna happen.  He doesn't preach or teach to entertain you, thank you Jesus.  I don't like these "feel good" churches cos if you read the Bible, salvation and the Gospel to the unbelievers should never make you feel good about yourself.  That's true or Christians as well.  If you want a laser show and rock music or be entertained, go to a rock concert.  No church worth its salt should ever be there to entertain you, like Jesus is a feel-good, here's some suggestions but you're a good person, blah blah blah type of man.  He is the Holy God and He says we are not good.  So, they teach the wrong Gospel and the wrong Jesus Christ.

So, here's what I plan to do with my blog.  I will share laughter as I feel it's healing and we are to enjoy every good gift God has given us.  If you're the playful type, He loves playing with His children.  To me, the book of Jonah is not only a great book but it's also one you can laugh with.  Poor Jonah.  He tried his best but you can't outrun God and so when he finally gave in and obeyed God, I bet he was very shocked and probably scared, smelled like fish and was embarrassed and mad at Ninevah for persecuting the Jews.  So enjoy His Holy Word.  I love it when the Apostles say things to unbelievers and yes, I laugh ad say way to go!  I'll also be sharing recipes or maybe pictures of His beautiful and amazing world.  I'll even share some awesome animal videos that aren't specifically Christian but to show the wonder and awesomeness of His creations.  I'll share recipes, jokes, parenting tips and even faith-based movies as I see them.  But, the number one reason is to spread the Gospel of Salvation by grace through faith according to Jesus Christ...the finishing work He did for us on the Cross.  Works are good but have nothing to do with salvation.  I want to use any RIGHT and GOOD posts to draw people in to hear the Gospel.  I will do anything Biblical to accomplish this.  If it takes a clean joke for an unbeliever to come to my blog and read the Gospel, I will but it will never be a seeker sensitive blog.  It will also be to encourage, support, correct, and build the Body of Christ.  Give me about a week to get enough resources to share each day (I have some already) but when I do restart it fully, other than Thursdays and Sundays, it will be an every single day work.  Of course that's the goal but emergencies and life don't always allow it.

Be patient for a few day and when I have it fully figured out and start posting much each day, I pray you find it worthy to share.  Our blogs and websites need to go out INTO the world.  It must be done correctly.  I welcome any correction.  Be kind to each other and full of grace.

God Bless, Much Love (Love MUCH) in Christ Jesus and be led by the Holy Spirit.

NO TIME FOR POLITICAL CORRECTNESS - GOSPEL OF CHRIST JESUS (VIDEO)

Good Bible based video on the Gospel Message.  God bless and much love in Christ Jesus.  Have have safe and blessed week.  Pray for me to be led to a good church.  My other one turned out to be borderline "seeker sensitive."  Thank you!

I NEED YOUR OPINION ABOUT NEW "PROPHETS"

Do you believe that we are given new prophecies that are not already foretold in the Scriptures?  I'm referring to the prophets of the churches like Jehovah's Witnesses (Russell Tase?); Ellen G. White of the Seventh Day Adventists; and Joseph Smith of the Mormons that do not line up with scripture?  What I believe is some are able to have a much clearer understanding of prophecy but I do not believe in new prophets that go outside of scripture or do not line up with what the Canon says.  We are warned not to add or take away from the Bible.  Of all the above new churches and prophets, none of their prophecies came to pass, they all have outside publications and/or Bibles that are rewritten to fit their doctrines and when read, they are far from other Bibles.  Does God not tell us that if someone says something in His Name and it doesn't come to pass, to dismiss them as false prophets?  In the OT, these "prophets" were stoned to death!  God considers this an extremely important issue.  Jesus Christ did NOT come back secretly in 1914 or 1917, depending on who you listen to.  The Watchtower is full of occult symbols and denies Jesus Christ is God and say He was created.  They deny the Godhead.  SDAs put us under the bondage of the law and claim Jesus is really the archangel Michael (as does the JWs) but say He isn't created.  They all say they are THE only ones going to Heaven.  Mormons believe Jesus and satan are brothers but doesn't John 3:16 say that God has only ONE BEGOTTEN SON?  Please be careful.  I watch a lot of videos (well, I see them) that claim extra-Biblical revelations by so many.  I hear people claim that God gives them messages that don't line up with scripture.    Now my husband did have an out of body experience during surgery and what he saw, I do believe he did but he didn't go to Heaven.  Read Paul's very humbling account of when he went to the 3rd Heaven.  He was so humbled by it, he said it in the 3rd person and said he was forbidden to tell man.  I'm not sure what to believe on NDEs.  Some line up with scripture.  What is your thoughts?  I'll be clear, I do not believe we are given new revelations from God.  I also do not believe in new doctrines.  If you want to know what He says, read the Bible and listen to those who have a good understanding of prophecy.  Be wary of those who claim extra-Biblical info.  You must test all spirits to see if they are of God because even satan can appear as an angel of light.  LEARN TO DISCERN. God bless.

SHOULD A CHURCH BE "SEEKER SENSITIVE?" BY GOT QUESTIONS?

Image result for images of a megachurch

Question: "Should a church be seeker sensitive?"

Answer:
In recent years a new movement within the evangelical church has come into vogue, commonly referred to as "seeker sensitive." Generally, this movement has seen a great deal of growth. Many “seeker” churches are now mega-churches with well-known pastors who are riding a wave of popularity in the evangelical world. The seeker-sensitive movement claims millions of conversions, commands vast resources, continues to gain popularity, and seems to be attracting millions of un-churched people into its fold.

So, what is this movement all about? Where does it come from? And, most importantly, is it biblical? Basically, the seeker-sensitive church tries to reach out to the unsaved person by making the church experience as comfortable, inviting, and non-threatening to him as possible. The hope is that the person will believe in the gospel. The idea behind the concept is to get as many unsaved people through the door as possible, and the church leadership are willing to use nearly any means to accomplish that goal. Theatrics and musical entertainment are the norm in the church service to keep the unsaved person from getting bored as he does with traditional churches. State-of-the-art technology in lighting and sound are common components of the seeker-sensitive churches, especially the larger ones.

Expertly run nurseries, day care, adult day care, community programs such as ESL (English as a Second Language), and much more are common fixtures in the larger seeker churches. Short sermons (typically 20 minutes at most) are usually focused on self-improvement. Supporters of this movement will say that the single reason behind all the expense, state-of-the-art tech gear, and theatrics is to reach the unsaved with the gospel; however, rarely are sin, hell, or repentance spoken of, and Jesus Christ as the exclusive way to heaven is rarely mentioned. Such doctrines are considered “divisive.”

The seeker-sensitive church movement has pioneered a new method for founding churches involving demographics studies and community surveys that ask the unsaved what they want in a church. This is a kind of “if you build it they will come” mentality. The reasoning is that if you give the unsaved better entertainment than they can receive elsewhere, or “do church” in a non-threatening way, then they will come, and hopefully, they will accept the gospel. The mindset is to hook the un-churched person with great entertainment, give him a message he can digest, and provide second-to-none services. The focus of the seeker church then is not Christ-centered, but man-centered. The main purpose of the seeker church’s existence is to give people what they want or meet their felt needs.

Further, the seeker-friendly gospel presentation is based on the idea that if you will believe in Jesus, He will make your life better. Relationships with your wife or husband, coworkers, children, etc., will be better. The message the seeker church sometimes passes on to the unsaved person is that God is a great cosmic genie, and if you stroke Him the right way, you will get what you want. In other words, if you profess to believe in Jesus, God will give you a better life, better relationships and purpose in life. So, for all intents and purposes, the seeker-sensitive movement is a type of system based on giving unbelievers whatever they want. What too often happens in such a system is that people make a profession of faith, but when the circumstances of their lives don’t immediately change for their material good, they forsake Christ, believing He has failed them.

How are people responding to the “seeker” movement? Many people have responded and begun attending seeker-sensitive churches. Many people, indeed, have come to faith in Christ as a result of a seeker-sensitive church. But the bigger question is, “What does God have to say about all this?” Is it possible for a movement to be successful from a human perspective, but be unacceptable to God?

The basic premise in the seeker-sensitive movement is that there are many people out there who are seeking God and want to know Him, but the concept of the traditional church scares them away from faith in Christ. But is it true that people are truly seeking God? Actually, Scripture teaches the exact opposite! The apostle Paul tells us that “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). This means there is no such thing as an unbeliever who is truly seeking for God on his own. Furthermore, man is dead in his sin (Ephesians 2:1), and he can’t seek God because he doesn’t recognize his need for Him, which is why Paul says that there is no one who understands. Romans 1:20-23 teaches us that all unbelievers reject the true God. They then go on to form a god that is what they want (a god in their image or the image of something else). This is a god they can tame and control. Romans 1:18-20 says they knowingly suppress what they know about God through His creation and that they are subject to God’s wrath, another doctrine studiously avoided by the seeker churches.

God’s invisible attributes are clearly seen in creation, but unbelievers take that clear knowledge and revelation God has graciously provided and flatly reject it. This leads to Paul’s statement in Romans 1:20 that they are “without excuse.” What man finds when he seeks on his own is nothing more than a god of his own creation. Man does not seek for God; it is God who seeks for man. Jesus said that plainly in John 15:16, and John 6:44. The idea of thousands or even millions of unbelievers really searching for the true God is an utterly unbiblical notion. Thus, this movement is based on an unbiblical concept of the nature of the unsaved person, which is spiritually dead. A spiritually dead person does not seek God, nor can he. Therefore, there is no such thing as a seeking unbeliever. He does not understand the things of God until he is made alive by the Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 2:14).

Until the Father draws him (John 6:44) and the Spirit awakens the heart so he can believe and receive the gift of faith (Ephesians 2:8), an unsaved person cannot believe. Salvation is completely the act of God whereby He draws and empowers the dead sinner with what is necessary to believe (John 6:3739-40). What part do we play in the salvation of others? God has commanded that we are the instrumentality through which the gospel is proclaimed. We share the gospel, but it is not our responsibility to make people believe, or even to try to be persuasive or manipulate them into believing. God has given us the message of the gospel; we are to share it with gentleness and reverence, but we are to share it, offensive parts and all. Nobody believes the gospel because a speaker is persuasive. People believe because of the work of God in their hearts.

God has not been vague on what His church is to be like. He didn’t leave us guessing. He has given us direction on how men are to lead His church (Acts 6:1-614:23Titus 1:5-91 Timothy 3:1-13Ephesians 4:11), the ordinances of the church (1 Corinthians 11Matthew 28:19), and the worship in the church—it is to be on the “Lord’s Day” (Acts 20:7), and is to consist of preaching and teaching, prayer, fellowship (Acts 2:42) and the taking of an offering (Colossians 3:16). Here, the seeker movement has missed the mark completely with its man-centered focus. When an unsaved person enters church, should our goal be to make him feel as comfortable as possible? When it comes to issues like our kindness, speaking respectfully, or even physical comfort, all who enter the church should be treated well. But the unsaved person should never feel “at home” in church, which is the body of Christ. The preaching and teaching of truth should make him feel very uncomfortable as he, hopefully, realizes the state of his soul, comes to know the existence of hell, and recognizes his need for the Savior. This discomfort is what brings people to Christ, and those who attempt to circumvent discomfort are not being loving. In fact, just the opposite is true. If we love someone, we want him to know the truth about sin, death, and salvation so we can help him avoid an eternity in hell. According to Paul, when an unbeliever enters the church and the Word of God is preached expositionally (taught directly from the Scriptures), he will be convicted and called into account for his sin. The secrets of his heart are disclosed as he confesses and repents of his sin; this leads him to humble himself and worship the God who has provided the sacrifice for his salvation.

If we apply the standards of the seeker-sensitive movement to evaluate Jesus’ ministry, we get some interesting results. At one time, Jesus was preaching to thousands, and He clearly offends nearly all of those who heard Him. They desert Him, and “from this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him” (John 6:66). The Greek words in this verse mean they left and never came back. Jesus warned us that, far from healing our relationships with others, Christians will experience rifts in their closest relationships because of Him (Matthew 10:34-37). It is true that once we are saved life is better because we are reconciled to God and have a right relationship with Him. This provides the deepest peace that can be known. However, the rest of our lives will almost certainly be more difficult than before. God has said that we will experience persecution (Matthew 10:25), the rest of the world will look upon us as fools (1 Corinthians 1:1823), and we may even experience deep divisions in our own families all because of Christ (Luke 12:53). Jesus never intended for us to be popular with unbelievers, saying instead that He came to bring not peace, but a sword (Matthew 10:34).

The basic philosophy, theology, purpose, and end of the seeker-sensitive movement are entirely man-centered. However, some would say that regardless of the purpose, motive, and outcome of the movement being wrong, we can’t argue with the principle of getting the unsaved through the doors to hear the gospel. Certainly, any exposure we can give the unsaved to the gospel is a great thing. However, the seeker-sensitive movement sometimes doesn’t have the real gospel. Rather, it is a shell of the truth; it is hollow and void of the truths of sin, hell, and the holiness of God.

How is the rest of the body of Christ to respond to the seeker-sensitive movement? We are to “contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). We are to be all the more vigilant to model our churches after the instruction of Scripture. Eventually, this movement, like all others which have come and gone over the years, will run its course and fizzle out. The seeker movement is large and well accepted, but it will eventually give way to the next fad, and in some ways that has already happened with the Emerging Church movement. Oddities within the church come and go, but the biblical church, like her Lord, endures forever.

CHOICE AT PLANNED PARENTHOOD MEANS ONE THING ONLY

Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards
Live Action said Planned Parenthood “is in the fight of its corporate life to save its half-billion dollars in taxpayer funding, claiming it needs the money to deliver ‘vital reproductive health care.'”
But Live Action, she said, “has discovered that Planned Parenthood refuses to use those ‘reproductive health care’ tax dollars to help the people who need them the most: pregnant women who choose to carry their babies to term.”
The videos, Live Action said, “vividly illustrate what was found in Planned Parenthood’s recently released 2015-16 annual report: Its 328,348 abortions in 2015 vastly outnumbered its 9,419 prenatal services and 2,889 adoption referrals.”
The chain aborted nearly 114 children for every one baby it referred out for adoption in 2015, Live Action found.
Lila Rose, president of Live Action, said her investigators repeatedly “went to Planned Parenthood asking for pregnancy support, and repeatedly, they were told that they could only get abortions.”
“Prenatal care and adoption referrals are virtually nonexistent while abortion numbers continue to rise, making it clear that Planned Parenthood’s focus – and its push – is abortion,” she said. “You can’t get those kinds of numbers without constantly promoting abortion.”
Rose said it’s “unconscionable that taxpayers are forced to fund an abortion business.”
“But it’s also alarming that we’re giving over half a billion dollars a year to a business we’re told provides reproductive health care but that refuses to use that money to help women who choose to carry their babies to term. Planned Parenthood’s anti-woman, anti-child agenda make it unworthy of a single dime of taxpayer funding.”
She challenged Congress to fix the problem.
“Congress shouldn’t wait any longer to put legislation on the president’s desk to redirect funding away from Planned Parenthood to local health centers that actually provide legitimate primary and prenatal care to women and their families,” Rose said.
The videos reveal that Planned Parenthood centers in multiple locations simply brushed off requests for prenatal services.
In St. Paul, Minnesota, the request for help was met with, “Um, don’t offer services.”
The caller explains, “I thought you helped with adoptions,” to which Planned Parenthood in Flagstaff, Arizona, responds, “No, we do abortions.”
Live Actions’ videos in their “Abortion Corporation” series already have collected nearly 100 million views on social media.
Planned Parenthood is in the news not only because of Live Action’s videos, but also because of videos released by the Center for Medical Progress, which went undercover and found abortionists talking about their trade in the body part of babies.
The CMP videos have prompted congressional investigations and requests that abortionists be investigated for criminal conspiracy.
The abortion industry has responded with lawsuits over those videos and by trying to conceal them from the American public, which gives $500 million in tax money to abortionists at Planned Parenthood each year.
One such judge hearing the dispute, Judge William H. Orrick III, ordered nationwide censorship of one of the videos.
However, a motion has been filed in court asking to have the judge removed from the case because of his links to an organization that sponsors Planned Parenthood.
WND previously posted the video, and when it was removed on Orrick’s orders, transcribed the statements by abortionists so the public still has access to the information.
Lisa Harris, medical director for Planned Parenthood of Michigan, says in the video: “Our stories don’t really have a place in a lot of pro-choice discourse and rhetoric, right? The heads that get stuck that we can’t get out. The hemorrhages that we manage.”
Susan Robinson of Planned Parenthood of Mar Monte in San Jose, California: “The fetus is a tough little object and taking it apart, I mean taking it apart, on day one is very difficult.’
Talcott Camp, deputy director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s Reproductive Health Freedom Project: “I’m like oh my god! I get it! When the skull is broken, that’s really sharp. I get it, I understand why people are talking about getting that skull out, that calvarium.”
Deborah Nucatola, senior director of medical services at Planned Parenthood Federation of America: “You know, sometimes she’ll tell me she wants brain, and we’ll, you know, leave the calvarium in ’til last, and then try to basically take it, or actually, you know, catch everything, and even keep it separate from the rest of the tissue so it doesn’t get lost.”
The video was the work of undercover investigators with the Center for Medical Progress, who since 2015 have released more than a dozen videos of abortionists – mostly from Planned Parenthood – talking about their unborn-baby, body-parts trade, their willingness to adjust an abortion procedure to salvage a particular body part sought by a researcher and more.
The request to have Orrick removed cites his status an emeritus board member of a group that has a “key partnership” with the abortionists of Planned Parenthood.
“Judge Orrick’s wife has also posted public comments, pictured with her husband, that are supportive of Planned Parenthood and critical of these moving defendants,” the law firm explained. “For this reason, and the others set forth below, [David] Daleiden and CMP respectfully request that Judge Orrick be recused from this case and that a stay be granted on all proceedings in this case until this motion is heard.”
Orrick, says the legal filing, has a longstanding relationship with Good Samaritan Family Resource Center in San Francisco, which for many years has had a Planned Parenthood clinic on its premises, describing it as a “key partnership.”
“Mr. Daleiden learned Judge Orrick had not only been on the board of GSFRC … but also discovered that Judge Orrick was secretary of the board of GSFRC in 2001, when GSFRC entered into its ‘key partnership’ with PPSP,” the filing explains.
The judge and his wife also have given more than $5,000 to support GSFRC, which donates its space to Planned Parenthood, the brief explains, pointing out that the judge concealed his links to the abortion industry.
“At no time did Judge Orrick disclose to defendants that he sat on the board of an organization that had as a ‘key partner’ an organization defendants allege, both in public statements and as part of their defense, was involved in violation of state and federal law. … Orrick did not disclose his close and long-standing relationship with an organization that houses a facility and hosts Planned Parenthood staff.”

‘Choice’ at Planned Parenthood means 1 thing only

IMAGINED CONVERSATION BETWEEN BERNIE SANDERS AND THE APOSTLE PAUL

By Justin Johnson
The original transcript taken from the conversation between Bernie Sanders and Russel Vought at his confirmation hearing for his nominated position in the Office of Management and Budget. Bernie’s statements have remained unchanged, but Vought’s have been replaced by verses from Paul’s writings in the Bible.
Sanders: Let me get to this issue that has bothered me and bothered many other people. And that is in the piece that I referred to that you wrote for the publication called the Bible. You wrote, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” Do you believe that that statement is Islamophobic?
Me:“I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews: Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently. My manner of life from my youth…” – Acts 26:2-4
Sanders: I apologize. Forgive me, we just don’t have a lot of time. Do you believe people in the Muslim religion stand condemned? Is that your view?
Me: “By the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justifi…” – Romans 5:18
Sanders: I understand that. I don’t know how many Muslims there are in America. Maybe a couple million. Are you suggesting that all those people stand condemned? What about Jews? Do they stand condemned too?
Me: “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.” – Romans 10:1-2
Sanders (shouting): I understand you are a Christian, but this country are made of people who are not just — I understand that Christianity is the majority religion, but there are other people of different religions in this country and around the world. In your judgment, do you think that people who are not Christians are going to be condemned?
Me: “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” – Romans 3:10
Sanders: You think your statement that you put into that publication, they do not know God because they rejected Jesus Christ, His Son, and they stand condemned, do you think that’s respectful of other religions?
Me: “I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. For there is no respect of persons with God.” – Acts 26:29Col 3:25Rom 2:11
“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:” – Ephesians 3:8-9
Sanders: I would simply say, Mr. Chairman, that this nominee is really not someone who this country is supposed to be about.

THE GOSPEL THAT SAVES

THE GOSPEL THAT SAVES

"I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved ... how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

THE IGNORANT NATURAL MAN - GRACE AMBASSADORS

By Justin Johnson
“…the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:…” – 1 Corinthians 2:14
The natural man is without Christ. According to the natural man wisdom is attained by pursuing the depths of human philosophy and science.
The natural man thinks the preaching of the cross is foolish religion and rejects it (1 Cor 1:18).
The Spirit of God has inspired every word of scripture (2 Tim 3:16). He spoke to the apostles and prophets to reveal the mystery of Christ and the power of God in Christ crucified (Eph 3:51 Cor 1:24).
It is this mystery of Christ that we are to make all men see and is declared to be the manifold wisdom of God (Eph 3:8-9). There is no doubt that the paths to wisdom are different for the natural man and the man regenerated by the Spirit (Titus 3:5).
He Can Not Know
Yet, 1 Cor 2:14 does not stop at the natural man merely rejecting the things of the Spirit of God. It says that he cannot know them.
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” – 1 Corinthians 2:14
To this the natural man feels threatened and asserts that he has studied the Bible, translated it, analyzed it, compiled it, catalogued it, and compared its doctrines to other religions. Surely, he says, he can know the things in the Bible. Not so.
However familiar the natural man is with the recorded scripture he can never know the things of the Spirit of God, experience the power of God, nor understand the deep things of God. This is not because he cannot read a book, but because he does not have faith in the book as God’s words.
“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” – 1 Thess 2:13
Spiritually Discerned
More specifically the natural man does not have the Spirit of God by which to discern the spiritual things of God.
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” – 1 Cor 2:12
When we trust the gospel, a new man is regenerated by the Spirit of God. The new spiritual man can know the things of the Spirit of God. It takes one to know one.
How can the natural man put on the mind of God in the flesh without trusting Christ’s crucifixion as the power of God (Phil 2:2-8)?
Experiencing the quickening of our mortal bodies is impossible without the indwelling Spirit (Rom 8:9-11).
The comfort and joy of setting our affections on things above is lost on the carnally minded (Col 3:1-4).
How to walk in Christ the “way we received him” is unknown without first receiving him (Col 2:6-7).
None of these spiritual realities can be known to the natural man who rejects the gospel.
The man who has trusted the power of God unto salvation can know these free things of God. Although, we may still be growing in our knowledge of them, all of the spiritual blessings are given to us that are in Christ.
The natural man is without Christ, and he cannot know the things of God. We are all born ignorant natural men. Ignorance is curable: trust the power of God unto salvation.

GREATER HEALINGS - GRACE AMBASSADORS

It was common in Jesus ministry to heal all whom he touched.
Then a woman reached out and touched the hem of his garment and was healed (Matt 9:20). This was something greater!
After that everyone tried to touch his garment (Matt 14:36), even those that did not believe divided his garments even as they crucified him (Matt 27:35). Everyone wanted a piece of what healed.
At the end of his earthly ministry Jesus said that greater works than that would be done (John 14:12).
The twelve apostles were given power to do greater works insomuch that the sick sought to be healed by Peter’s shadow (Acts 5:15)! These were clearly greater works.
This did not prevent them from putting Peter in jail, not because of his greater works, but because he preached Jesus as the Christ.
Greater works than Peter were done during Paul’s ministry when the sick were healed by his handkerchiefs delivered to them (Acts 19:11-12).
Paul’s special miracles did not save him from persecution and oft tribulations for his message.
No one was ever rejected for healing power; everyone wants to be healed. They were killed for their doctrinal message.
Greater works were signs pointing to a more excellent ministry. The message was always greater than the miracles. Paul’s message was more excellent than any of those great works (Phil 1:101 Cor 13:13Eph 2:4-7).
When Christians think that special miracles, healing, and powers are greater than understanding doctrine they are making the same mistake as those who crucified Jesus, jailed Peter, and persecuted Paul.
Today, there is no greater message than what the Lord revealed to the apostle Paul last of all. What was Paul’s message?
The gospel of the grace of God testifies to Christ having done everything necessary for you already including blessing you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.
We walk by faith (message) not by sight (miracles)-(2 Cor 5:7).
There is a greater hope than healing. It is found in what Christ has already done for you.
Trusting the greater message of grace will relieve you from the disappointment of not receiving lesser miracles.
Preach this message and you will face resistance by those who think God’s greatest work was to heal. Heal everyone in town and you will receive big crowds that might crucify you if you talk too much about sound doctrine.
