SPEAKING IN TONGUES - HARMLESS? NO! IT IS VERY DANGEROUS - BEST VIDEO I'VE SEEEN
I've had a funny feeling that this "speaking in tongues" is somehow dangerous. This video goes into how and why it is so dangerous. It's addictive and like all addictions, it takes more and more to reach that "high of the flesh" and many end up in trances or convulsing for days, acting hysterically and many walking away when they find they can't do it. I hear this all the time but it seems no one is listening. Unless you've been abused by this movement Spiritually, you will never understand what this doctrine can do to a new believer. It almost caused my husband to walk away from God. Now he's carefully going to a Bible teaching church. It is a prideful thing as I've been told I'm immature but I know something about the other 65 books, not just Acts. My friend needs constant validation. I can't give it because she preaches only baptism and tongues, she leaves off the Cross.
FYI
I am starting 2 new blogs. One is for Christian faith-based support with those with addictions of any type, be it drugs, (street or Rx), alcohol, cigarettes, porn, anything. I welcome anyone, believer or not, so long as they agree to the rules. Second is all about cults and while I won't speak evil of them, I will put up a prayer list for a chain to pray for them. However, most are familiar with those. What I am more worried about is cults like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Age Spiritualism, things like that and everything I post will be backed up by scripture, not my POV. Be ye not deceived. I will share it as I do this one but it's up to you to read it. However, I do ask for your help with it. If you have info, I'd appreciate it. God bless and good night. See you guys tomorrow!

ADVICE TO NEW BELIEVERS
I've been "in love" and believed in Christ Jesus since I was 6. All of my life, even when I was not living for Him, I felt His presence and His voice trying to bring me home. I knew deep down I would "one day" but I can tell you this...it is ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD and DIVINE INTERVENTION that I lived long enough to get right with Him. Doctors have told me I'm a miracle. One said he didn't believe in God but I was causing him to rethink that because there was no medical, logical or reasonable reason why I should be alive. One nurse told me that my potassium and calcium levels were so low they were inconsistent with life but instead of being dead, I was alert and talking. She called me a miracle and then said 2 minutes later would have been too late. I say no, God was not ready for me so 2 minutes or 2 hours, God was not letting me leave until I surrendered to Him. Did my life get easier? Not by a long shot. I got deceived. I got unknowingly involved in 2 very dangerous cults. Because I'd been raised in the truth, I quickly spotted the lie but the problems it caused me was long lasting. So, I want to try to help new Christians get a good start and not make the mistakes I did.
Do not order ANY booklets from churches on the internet. They are all cults. The only book you need is the Bible and it is quite sufficient to interpret itself. However, for the newborn, that's not easy so here's what you need to get. Get as big of a Bible dictionary and concordance that you can afford and a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance that gives the meanings of the original text. You can order them on the internet at ABE.com for about $4.00. Go to used bookstores or go online and find the biggest regular dictionary that is from 1973 or older. Do not get a new one. They do not contain the Biblical meanings. I lost mine in the move so I have to find one but I recommend the New World Dictionary written in 1973. For example, worship doesn't mean bowing down and kissing the ground people walk on. It means "respect." Jealousy only means God expects your exclusive loyalty. He IS the only Living God and created you. Not too much to ask.
Don't go pastor shopping on YouTube. Almost every day I post a sermon by J. Vernon McGee and you can go there and find hundreds of sermons by him. He's dead now but was popular in the 80s and he is a Bible-preaching only pastor and he has an awesome series called "Through the Bible." Listen to him because it's not end times preaching or preaching in light of today's events and God's Word is the same but even though he never claims to be a prophet, he said what was coming according to the Word of God and it either has or we see it close by. Most importantly, he has the true Gospel message down pat. We are saved by grace through faith and belief, not of works or ourselves. He preaches death, burial, resurrection in body is our salvation. Good works are a natural occurrence of the repentant heart. However, it doesn't happen overnight. I'm doing a new blog exclusive to false prophets and cults. I also have some links so be careful of these new doctrines. Before finding a church, especially a mega-church, make sure they tell the 100% truth of the Word of God. I am literally no denomination. I follow Jesus.
Know the Gospel, use the KJV only but if you want, read the New KJV concurrently as it is a good resource if you get stuck on a verse and need some help. Be sure to get a red letter Bible and mine is awesome. It has stars by prophecies and the ones that have been fulfilled are solid but those for future events are just the shape. It has awesome parallel verses and only costs $11 at the Dollar General.
I'll have more to add but before getting into a church, especially a very large one, research the denomination and find out what that church teaches. Make sure it is not a cult or cult-like. I'll post more information over the weekend as I think of it but pray without ceasing. Pray before giving money, choosing a church or what books are good to read. I highly recommend Oswald Chamber's "My Utmost for His Highest" and his small booklet on the Sermon on the Mount. The older the pastor, the more likely you'll get the truth. Do a quick search on known false prophets and cults. Praying and being rock solidly grounded in the Word of God is your primary objective as it will protect you from deception. Please share with any new believer. I wish someone had given me this info but no, I got deceived. I don't want that for you. I'm praying for you and if you want, we can form a group to fellowship together. Let me know!

CAN A CHRISTIAN DRINK?
On Monday night, news broke that Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White had been charged with vandalism and public intoxication. On my Facebook wall, I posted the following comment: “This just in…and the gold medal for character enhancement, once again, goes to alcohol.”
For years, well-meaning, sincere Christians have debated the subject of drinking. Let me be clear by saying there isn’t a single verse in the Bible that says a Christian cannot have a drink; although the Bible clearly warns about the destructive and addictive nature of alcohol (Proverbs 20:1; 21:17; 23:29-35; Ephesians 5:18) and is very clear that drunkenness is always wrong (Romans 13:13; Galatians 5:19-21; 1 Peter 4:3; Habakkuk 2:15; 1 Corinthians 5:11).
The Bible is also clear that mature Christians should avoid causing others to stumble by drinking (Romans 14:21), and that leaders ought to avoid drinking alcohol (Proverbs 31:4-7) and cannot be given to drunkenness (1 Timothy 3:3, 8Titus 1:7.)
I have yet to hear from anyone who drinks how alcohol enhances anything or blesses anyone. Max Lucado said, “One thing for sure, I have never heard anyone say, ‘A beer makes me feel more Christlike… Fact of the matter is this: People don’t associate beer with Christian behavior.”1 I’ve yet to see how it improves someone’s testimony or makes anyone a more effective witness for Christ. Quite the contrary, like Shaun White mentioned above, or Richard Roberts, Oral Roberts’ son, who was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, driving under the influence, the result doesn’t enhance your testimony. Rather, it takes away from what testimony you had.
Recently, a friend of mine, former megachurch Pastor John Caldwell, wrote an article in Christian Standard magazine called To Drink or Not to Drink? Here’s the link to his article. John’s article explained why he has personally abstained from drinking alcohol and dealt with the bigger issue of the contemporary church becoming more and more like the world.
Not surprisingly, a number of people responded to John’s article and some called him to task for taking such a strong stand against drinking. In response to the responses, my good friend Ken Idleman, former President of Ozark Christian College and now Pastor of Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, Ind., wrote these words, which are among the very best I’ve ever read on this issue. I asked Ken for his permission to share them here.
“OK, I am conscience bound to weigh in on this one… For a minute, forget about making a definitive case for or against ‘drinking’ from the Bible. Here’s the truth from logic and real life. No one starts out to be an alcoholic. Everyone begins with a defensive attitude saying, ‘I’m just a social drinker and there is nothing wrong with it!’ no one says, ‘It is my ambition that someday I want to lose my job, my health, my self-respect, my marriage and my family. Someday I want to be dependent on alcohol to get through my day.’ Yet, this is the destination at which several millions of people have arrived. Why do you suppose that is? It is because alcohol is promoted and elevated as a normal/sophisticated activity in life… It is also expensive, addictive and enslaving. People get hooked by America’s number one legal drug. And just like all illegal drugs, alcohol finds it way into the body, the bloodstream and the brain of the user/abuser.
I had two uncles whose lives were wrecked by alcohol. The exception you say? Hardly. It is not what they wanted when they dreamed of their futures when they were in their 20s. Praise God, they were wonderfully delivered in their 60s when the grace of God became real to them. And can you imagine it?… They got their lives back by becoming total abstainers by the power of the Holy Spirit!
One of my most memorable conversations in the state penitentiary in Jefferson City, Mo., was with a young man facing a 28-year prison sentence for the brutal sexual assault of his own 8-year-old daughter. I will never forget the image. The tears literally ran off his chin and splashed on his shoes as he gushed, ‘I guess I did it. I don’t know. I was drunk at the time.’
Listen, some of those who are defensive in response to Dr. Caldwell’s thoughtful and courageous article will want to revise their text if, in a few years, they discover that they were able to handle their drinking just fine, but their son or daughter could not. Answer honestly. Could you live with the knowledge that your dangerous exercise of Christian liberty factored into your children’s ruin? Or, if your loved one is killed some day in a head on collision by a driver under the influence who crossed the center line, will you still be defensive of drinking?
A good friend during my growing up years was the only child of social drinking parents. When his folks were away, he would go to the rathskeller [German for tavern] in the basement where he developed a taste for alcohol. I won’t bore you with the details. He is 65 today. A broken life, broken health, broken marriages, a broken relationship with his only son, a broken relationship with his only grandchild, a broken career and a broken spirit that…tragically…he tries daily to medicate with the alcohol that led him to this tragic destination.
Hey, thanks for indulging my rant. Like my friend John Caldwell, I confess to setting the bar high for Christian leadership [especially] when it comes to aesthetic holiness. Call me a ‘right-wing fundamentalist.’ Call me a ‘throw back to the days of the tent evangelists.’ Call me a ‘simpleton.’ Call me a ‘minimalist.’ But, if you do, go ahead and also call me a ‘watchman on the wall’ where the welfare of my family [children, in-laws, grandchildren] and my church family is concerned.”2
Personally, I’ve yet to have my first beer and have no desire to start now or to drink alcohol of any kind. At the same time, I don’t judge those who believe they have freedom in Christ to drink. But when asked, I always tell people I don’t believe it’s the best choice.
The bottom line is this: The question really isn’t CAN A CHRISTIAN DRINK? Rather, it is: SHOULD A CHRISTIAN DRINK?

ANGRY ATHEIST VS. LOVING CHRISTIAN
As Christians, I'm sure all of us have encountered extreme anger by unbelievers. Why are they so angry? Why do they care what we believe? This has always baffled me. I'm not happy that unbelief has taken over as the new faith-based "religion" because it is faith-based but their faith is in, of all things, MAN. How many men (mankind) has let you down? Everyone you know. We all do. But why the anger? This is a good example of how we should act when sharing the Gospel and encounter anger and persecution. Be an example of Christ Jesus, pray for them and do good for them. Jesus said it would be like pouring hot coals on their head. I have a problem with controlling my temper when God is mocked. I sin! I'm also praying about that and we are all a work in progress. The best thing we can do is practice. Show the fruits of the Spirit and no matter what, in the end you've pleased God and that is the most important thing. One day your words may become very important to them one day. All we can do is share and then let God supply the increase.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND SHARE THE GOSPEL BECAUSE I FEAR TIME IS RUNNING OUT. I'VE BEEN LEERY OF SAYING WE'RE IN THE END TIMES AND WE MAY NOT BE BUT I'M CONVINCED THAT THIS WORLD IS COMING TO AN END SOON. THINGS ARE NOT GETTING BETTER BUT WORSE AND WILL CONTINUE GETTING WORSE.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEATH CULT ISLAM: BY I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
THIS IS A SHORT HISTORY OF THE CULT OF ISLAM. IT WAS STARTED BY A very bloodthirsty warlord who said that he spoke for a “god” who told him to kill all who disagreed with him, especially Jews and Christians.
It would be the same as if Genghis Khan or Atilla the Hun started a religion, and ordered all who would not submit to them to be slaughtered and their homes and cities burned down and the women raped. The band of thugs and bandits who followed mohammad did exactly as he said and forced everyone to convert or die.
This is NOT a “Peaceful religion”, as the government and some religious traitors affirm. it is a bloodthirsty and domineering ideology bent on total conquest and subjugation of the whole world.
This is obviously a satanic death cult, fueled by demons that love murder, rape, and all human degradation… and “allah” approves all of these things. This is what the adversary of the human race called “Satan” approves of. It is a satanic death cult. Ask anyone who has escaped from it!
CHURCH IN AMERICA LIVING ON FALSE TEACHINGS
I hope you'll take the time to watch this short video. Really listen to what he's saying because he backs it up with the scripture. We are not under the tithing law and I want to be clear, if you are blessed to have a good church and want to keep it, support it with as much money as possible. Do not support these mega-churches that spend it on million dollar homes, cars, planes, etc. The saints are perishing and many are starving while the pastors live richly. Find a good ministry and support it. I don't know but 10% is not enough for me. I give what the Spirit tells me to give be it 1% or 100%. Please God, not man.

ANTICHRIST WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED
I always have wondered why this man or whatever it is won't be recognized by unbelievers. I mean if the rapture theory is true, and I think it is, and millions of people just vanish, most people know what's in the Bible, they just don't believe it. However, we have a book called THE BIBLE or WORD OF GOD that tells you what has happened. But for the sake of arguing over the rapture, let's go at this in a different way. What if we are wrong about the rapture and we too have to go through the tribulation, we're going to warn everyone what's going on. I even hear that people are writing letters, journals, making videos, etc. so that if we are raptured, our loved ones will know and believe. I mean how could they not? We're sealed with the Holy Spirit so we will see him right away and we can't be deceived. Jesus Christ told the Apostle John that even His very elect cannot be deceived in Revelation.
And what about the NWO and One World Religion? The mark of the beast? Why are unbelievers still going to believe the biggest lie ever told? Why will they still take the mark and worship the anti-Christ with all the info available? I do not get it. We are in trouble and if we don't do our job and spread the Gospel, do you realize that most of the people will perish? Why are we silent? We need to roar like the Lion of Judah and with the love of the Apostle John. Maybe leaving letters and videos aren't such a bad idea. I don't know but until the Church...the Body of Christ...stops fighting each other and becomes of one voice/one accord, we're wasting our time. We need to preach exactly what the Apostles taught, preach the real Gospel of Salvation and the right Jesus Christ and pray without ceasing for this world. We gotta stop with the false prophets and churches, preach the Word of God or let your loved ones perish. Me, I'm going to find the truth and those who are deceived, I'm going to do what I can to teach them that Jesus Christ is God, our Savior and that the Godhead is not only truth but scriptural. I for one am sick of false prophets and churches. I love them and pray for them but I will expose the truth of what they preach but I will do my best not to speak evil of another person but I know I will. Be open to all truths and learn to understand prophecy, what it is and why it was given. Learn and teach. It is our only hope!

JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES BUILT ON LIES AND FALSE TEACHINGS
I have 2 very good friends who are members of this organization and I love them dearly. However, I have found that unless you are extremely knowledgeable about our Holy Bible and their teachings, it is almost impossible to get them out of their deception. They will not allow you to question their teaching and are so brainwashed and indoctrinated that I fear for them. It is so easy to see the errors of their teachings but they are blinded to the truth. They are only interested in converting me and if I try to prove their errors, they over-talk me. Their final authority is the Watchtower which is full of occult symbols. They demand you call God Jehovah. Okay, I agree that is one name He is known by but Jehovah with a "J" is incorrect as there is no "J" sound in Hebrew. Jehovah is another way of saying Yahwey or YHWY. That should be the first clue. Also, does our Heavenly Father, all knowing, really worried what I call Him? Honestly, I feel so close to Him at times I call Him Dad or maybe I'll call Him Papa as that is what Abba Father means.
Because I was so severely abused and then stalked by members of a well-known cult, after being brought out of my deception, I promised God I'd do whatever I am led to share to help others who are also being abused by very strict and domineering "religious organization." I cannot change anyone but I can give you sound scriptural basis for what I share. I will never argue nor debate you on these cults. I am woefully and willfully ignorant of the Watchtower and JW Bible. I do not visit their sites nor am I interested in hearing your truth. I have and I reject it. I'm trying to help but, in the end, it is your decision. I just ask that any comments be respectful and we can agree to disagree. Regardless, you are in my prayers.
If you are in this organization, please do not think I am judging you. I got caught up in 2 very dangerous cults for a year and it took about a year to get me to the truth. The Bible is sufficient to interpret itself and they even wrote their own Bible to uphold their doctrine because the KJV doesn't. BTW, every Bible scholar worth his salt will tell you that the KJV is THE closest translation to the original text on earth. I don't think it needs to be rewritten but rather, reread. I also read the NKJV and it is easier to read and I read it along with the KJV and except for leaving off God and Jesus's name a little too many times for my comfort, none of the meanings have been changed. To me, it's a great reference Bible that helps you understand verses you may be struggling with. Get a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance (under $4.00 online with free shipping) and a good regular dictionary pre-1980. The older dictionaries include Biblical meanings of words like worship, jealousy (not what you think) and other words like that. We think of worship as bowing down and literally worshiping someone but it means "exclusive loyalty" in the Bible. It sets us the "no idols" commandment and tells you why.
Again, this is not to offend, judge or to cause any dissension with you. I love you all and just want all to know the truth. Jesus Christ said "the whole world is deceived." I believe Him. We all have something we believe or don't believe that is wrong. It's my prayer for us who surrendered to Jesus Christ to be of one voice and one accord. We all have good and bad teachings but if we listen, maybe we can come together and run off these wolves in sheep's clothing. Yes, JW is a cult. Please learn the truth and give the Holy Spirit the chance to lead you out. BTW, I am against all denominations. We are followers of Jesus Christ and He was not a Baptist or any other church member. God bless you all.

The ONLY Gospel of Salvation....the Cross!!!
WHY DO GOD'S PEOPLE SUFFER? BY J. VERNON McGEE
Today's sermon. Very credible, Bible-teaching pastor. He speaks the truth of God's Word and isn't interested in tickling ears. Today, it's hard to find men of God who do these things. I've finally found a church that is "good enough" that I feel comfortable attending. It's new but not small though and it's racially and culturally integrated, which I love. We have all ages and races. It's not fancy but I'm grateful for that. Any money given actually goes to how it's supposed to. Our leader is great and you would never believe he's working on his 4th doctorate degree. You can't even call us non-denominational. We just go by the Word of God. Baptist is the closest but if you prefer the Pentacostal church, or any other denomination (unless you're in a cult or cult-like church) you will feel at home. You are free to worship as the Holy Spirit leads. If you speak in tongues, it must be done Biblically. We preach the right Gospel.
I made some posts last night about tithing and I want to talk about it because I know we are not required to tithe. That is part of the oral law and for Israel, not the gentiles. However, I feel some may get the wrong idea that I think we shouldn't tithe. No, we should not tithe, we should freely give every dime the Holy Spirit leads us to give. Give until it hurts if you attend a church that preaches the truth because if you don't, you won't have a church for long. We need to use our money wisely. Everyone should know exactly what tithing is all about and how it is to be used. I'm sick of this "give to get" doctrine that's being taught in many churches today. GOD IS NOT A BANK and Jesus said not to let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. When you give, you shouldn't put your name on an envelope. Give but give anonymously. Please God, not man. When I am blessed to have some money, you better believe I give, many times every dime I have. Now, that may mean I only gave $2.00 but I give, I just do not give to get. I store up my treasures in Heaven, not on earth.
Please give. If you go to a good church or even if you go to "internet church" as I did for 3 years, that's great but make sure you find good pastors and not these false prophets. This man preaches the truth and he's from the 80s so it's not in light of our political climate but God's word NEVER changes so what is true then is true today. There are so many ministries you can support but use discernment and never give to people on F/B as most are scammers. If you want a list of good pastors and ministries to support, let me know. Give! Give! And then...give more. You will be blessed and sometimes it will be financial but me, I love His blessings more than money. We are a very blessed...and peculiar...people. Enjoy and share the Gospel in 1st Corinthians 15:1-11.

TITHING IS NOT REQUIRED FOR CHRISTIANS
I have shared 3 witnesses who agree with what I was always taught. We gave lots of offerings and we could tithe if we chose or not or could afford it. It had nothing to do with membership of our church or being banned. Even if we were, it is not done by the Bible and, BTW, Jesus Christ never told us to tithe. I'm trying to help you do what makes God happy and read Acts 8 and it is all about offerings by a gentile believer, not tithes. Read your Bible on how tithes were to be spent and ask this, is this what your church does? If not, you might have a problem but when I get a job, I will tithe from choice, not law and what I can afford and be grateful I had it to give. However, I will never put my money in an envelope with my name to prove I tithe. I choose to not let my left hand know what my right hand is doing. I don't give to get. God is not my banker. God bless and I won't share more. It's up to you to discover the truth but I found when I told God I would open my heart to all new truths, and this is where He led me. It's up to you but you give more when you don't feel pressured and resentful as many do. God bless and I pray you learn the truth for yourself. You do what feels right for you, I will do the same and yes, I give every dime I can...very happily.
THE TITHING DECEPTION
Again, I have nothing against tithing but pastors who claim to teach Biblical truth lie about this doctrine. We are to cheerfully give. We are not the House of Israel and that is who the tithing law was given. Jacob or Issac only tithed once in his life. You should support a good Bible preaching church as much as you can but we are not under any of the law, including tithing. That's works. Give if you can and if not, there's many ways to render unto God's what is God's. We don't pick and choose. We are either under the law or grace. If you want to be under the law, you will be judged by the law. I prefer grace. Give cheerfully and give what the Spirit leads you to give, not man. We are under the Covenant of Grace, the Church Age. Do you want your money going to support lies? I don't. Teach the right Gospel, the right Jesus and then I'll support you. Oh, and I don't mind feeding the hungry, helping the sick, etc. That matters when you have no income. We have to also take care of the Temple...our bodies.

THE BIBLICAL TRUTH ABOUT TITHING: MUST SEE
God loves a cheerful giver and believe me, I give every dime I can but it's not always to a church. I obey the Holy Spirit and I assure you, He will lead you, especially if you ask. In fact, before giving, I'd ask Him first because there's some false prophets/churches, users and abusers and who you assume needs money may not be the one who needs it. Ask HIM. He will lead you. I am not boasting by any means but I give every dime I have, be it $20 or $2.00. If anyone thinks I'm trying to get out of giving, you are so wrong. I have no income so I have no way to tithe. I don't get an allowance but I pay my bills and if there's enough left over for me to have, I take it but I'm low maintenance. I like yard sales and thrift stores. I have fun shopping there. Besides, I have no need of anything. My issue is that churches claim to be a Bible-teaching ONLY church but when they put us under tithing (we are under grace, tithing was part of the law) and/or add works to salvation, I immediately know they're not really a Bible only church. It's a test, sort of. I'd love to give my new church $100/week because we are small, new and they do preach the truth. If you're blessed enough to have a good church, you ought to want to give them as much money as possible or you won't have it for long. I just would never support a false teacher.
If you listen to what this man says and use your stop and rewind button, read your Bible, you'll see it. I hear pastors promising huge financial gains, literal money raining down from the Heavens IF you sow a faith seed of $1000. God will wipe out your credit card debt IF you put that faith seed on that credit card. Wow! Wouldn't that be stealing? Isn't that the very definition of theft? Taking something without paying for it? Would our Holy and Righteous God reward us by allowing us to steal from our debtors? I don't think He would. Mike Murdock is the biggest preacher of this doctrine and if you don't know him, listen to one of his YouTube videos. He brags about his money and has a few million dollars home and his viewers are $1,000 further in debt and maybe they won't be able to pay their rent that month. However, I know my God and I bet He'd find a way to help them keep their home but I'm equally sure they will be chastised for not using discernment.
Another trick they use is promised healing if you sow that faith seed. You don't need Mike Murdock or any other man for God to heal you nor can you buy it. God heals at His will and it's all smoke and mirrors. My sister has been healed of stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. She was given 6-8 months and 2 1/2 years later, she is doing great. If the cancer returns tomorrow, I got a lot more days with her than I would have. Oh, and believe it or not, through prayer, asking Jesus to show David the power of the Holy Spirit that if He was willing, to let my computer turn on. It immediately came on. Then I took it to get it fixed and the tech said that the only logical explanation was divine intervention. The motherboard literally was in shambles. It never should have come on. Yet it did. I see miracles all the time and personally, if I give Him money, I DO NOT WANT IT BACK but He does do that when we need it. It's always enough. $20 showed up in our bank account and even they couldn't explain it. I love His blessings more than money. I love to give. It's my joy!
I am not anti-tithing at all. I give all I can and obey the Spirit, not man. If I can't be a member of your church because I don't have an income of my own but I give no less than 50% of what I have. I give every chance I get but I refuse to use God as my banker. I truly believe we are to pay our bills or we are stealing. I see that as a worse sin. I'm going to be a cheerful and secret giver. BTW, churches who preach the truth on tithing, they get an average of 22% but the others get only 10%. Also, listen to how the tithes are to be spent. It's to go to the saints, the fatherless and widows. Is that what we are doing today? No, it goes to better seats, music and bigger buildings. Try calling any church asking for help and I know from experience, they won't help and if they do, it's very little.
Didn't Jesus tell us that the love of money is the root of all evils? What did He say about the rich young man who was sad because he had many possessions. Lastly, do you not think God considers your time, helping a stranger, helping out someone who's a little short at the store? Render unto Caesar's what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's. All I have to give Him is my heart, my loyalty, my love and sharing the Gospel. We are saved by grace, not works and I'll give all I can but I admit, I don't give 100%, I hold back at least $5 for me. I'm still a sinner and a wee bit selfish.
Also, do not waste your money on Joel O'Steen's new book called "How to Live Your Best Life now." It's a waste of money cos if you have no hope for a much better life in Heaven, then what's the point? My new citizenship is now in the Kingdom of God and I cannot imagine a more glorious life.

MILLENNIUM PART ONE THROUGH THREE: SERMON BY J. VERNON McGEE
This is one of the most significant topics discussed today. I know very little about it so I am grateful to YHWH for leading me to this sermon because I want to know as much as possible while on earth. This is a wonderful journey. Unbelievers have no clue what they are missing.
