OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONAL

Listeners and Doers

December 3, 2016

Look after orphans and widows in their distress.—James 1:27
The phone rang in the night for my husband, a minister. One of the prayer warriors in our church, a woman in her seventies who lived alone, was being taken to the hospital. She was so ill that she was no longer eating or drinking, nor could she see or walk. Not knowing if she would live or die, we asked God for His help and mercy, feeling particularly concerned for her welfare. The church sprang into action with a round-the-clock schedule of visitors who not only ministered to her but showed Christian love to the other patients, visitors, and medical staff.
James’s letter to the early Jewish Christians encouraged the church to care for the needy. James wanted the believers to go beyond just listening to the Word of God and to put their beliefs into action (1:22-25). By citing the need to care for orphans and widows (v. 27), he named a vulnerable group, for in the ancient world the family would have been responsible for their care.
How do we respond to those who are at risk in our church and community? Do we see caring for the widows and orphans as a vital part of the exercise of our faith? May God open our eyes to the opportunities to serve people in need everywhere. —Amy Boucher Pye
Father God, Your heart beats for the vulnerable and for those who are alone. Help us to love Your people as You love them, for we are made in Your image.
True faith demands not only our words, but our actions.
INSIGHT: The Bible consistently portrays God as the defender of the weak, the poor, the outcast, and the marginalized. Solomon says, “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord , and he will reward them for what they have done” (Prov. 14:31; 19:17). In today’s reading, James encourages believers to care for those in need and to “look after orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27). How would the church be different if all believers tried to provide for each other’s needs? Sim Kay Tee

IS THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING OR FALSE PROPHET?

By Robert K. Sanders

Definitions

What is a cult?

A religious cult is an organization that has departed from mainstream Christianity to follow doctrines that are not Biblical. They hold their leader's Bible contradictions over the Word of God. The Seventh-day Adventist Church teaches many non-Biblical doctrines and a false gospel.

Webster’s Dictionary by Random House: cult n. 1. a particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies. 2. a. a group that devotes itself to or venerates a person, ideal, fad, etc. 3. a. a religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist. b. the members of such a religion or sect. -adj. 4. of or pertaining to a cult. 5. of, for, or attracting a small group of devotees: a cult movie. cultic, adj. cultish, adj. cultism, n. cultist, n.

Are there different kinds of cults?

Most definitely. There are religious cults, Satanic cults, secular cults. Some cults are purely secular such as sport idols, UFO cults, movie stars, and some that are dedicated for the good of society. A cult in itself is not necessarily evil.

Christians need to be alert as to what is being taught as truth and refuse to accept Biblical contradictions—especially if a church has a prophet. People find comfort and security in belonging to religious cults, as it agrees with their beliefs that they were brain-washed into believing as truth.

Fulfillments

1. A leader or group of leaders, prophet, prophetess, that claims to speak for God.
Fulfillment: Ellen G. White (EGW), the Seventh-day Adventist’s prophetess makes the following claims:

EGW in 1876: "In ancient times God spoke to men by the mouth of prophets and apostles. In these days He speaks to them by the testimonies of His Spirit. There was never a time when God instructed His people more earnestly than He instructs them now concerning His will and the course that He would have them pursue." —Testimonies, vol. 4, pp. 147-148. (1876)

EGW claims: "that there never was a time when God instructed his people more earnestly" back in 1876 through her testimonies. Was her "testimonies" more earnest than the prophets such as Noah, Jonah, Abraham, Moses, as well as the apostles and even Jesus Christ? Heresy!!! In EGW's mind "his people" back in 1876 are SDA church members and God is giving them inside information through her visions. This is a typical example of religious cultism when people accept false prophets and prophetess writings as from God.

Bible: Heb 1:1 - 2 (NIV) In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

We could stop here with the first quote of EGW as she claims to replace Jesus Christ and is now speaking for God. This in itself shows that Adventism is a cult when comparing it with Hebrews 1:1-2.

God never told his church that Jesus would be replaced by Ellen Gould White or any other prophet or prophetess.

EGW: "In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Lord has presented to me. I do not write one article in the paper expressing merely my own ideas. They are what God has opened before me in vision--the precious rays of light shining from the throne." —Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 67.

It has been proven that much of what EGW wrote did not come from "the throne of God" but copied from books in her 1200 book library. God's prophets are not liars! See "Desire of Ages: The Veltman report."

2. What they write and teach their followers contradicts the Bible.
Fulfillment: "Ellen G. White Contradicts the Bible Over 50 time" EGW holds strict authority over its members in respect to, finances, wills, diet, dress, amusement, associations, etc. as taught in her books such as Testimonies to the Church. (See Desire of Ages not inspired)

3. Many members taking issue with the authority of the leader are excommunicated, (disfellowshipped), shunned, or not allowed to hold office in the church, etc.

Fulfillment: EGW—"When the judgment of the General Conference, which is the highest authority that God has on earth, is exercised private independence and private judgment MUST NOT be maintained, but must be surrendered." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 492.

Look at the Adventist pastors that were fired for not believing in some of Ellen G. White’s teachings. Also members who have been put out of office and disfellowshipped for not accepting Ellen G. White as a prophet or her teachings.

Is not the highest authority on earth the Holy Spirit?

4. Cult leaders teach infallibility in their teachings or the writings of their cult leader, in this case Ellen G. White.

Fulfillment: "It is from the standpoint of the light that has come through the Spirit of Prophecy (Mrs. White’s writings) that the question will be considered, believing as we do that the Spirit of Prophecy is the only infallible interpreter of Bible principles, since it is the Christ, through this agency, giving real meaning of his own words." (G.A. Irwin, General Conference President, from the tract The Mark of the Beast, p. 1.)

On February 7, 1887, the General Conference passed the following resolution: "That we re-affirm our binding confidence in the Testimonies of Sister White to the Church, as the teaching of the Spirit of God." (SDA Year Book for 1914, p. 253)

"Our position on the Testimonies is like the key-stone to the arch. Take that out and there is no logical stopping-place till all the special truths of the Message are gone...Nothing is surer than this, that the Message and visions (of Mrs. White) belong together, and stand or fall together." (Review and Herald Supplement, August 14, 1883.)

5. The cult members believes that they are superior to others because of their unique teachings as they have knowledge of God’s will that other Christians do not have. Because of the false teachings of their prophet or leaders, they consider themselves especially chosen by God, and look at themselves as the "Remnant Church," or "The True Church".

Fulfilled: Ellen G. White and the Seventh-day Adventist Church view themselves as "the Remnant Church" alone especially called by God in 1844, over all other churches, which they called Babylon. The Adventist still considers themselves the Remnant Church. Read, "Seventh-day Adventist Believe 27," Chapter 12, "The Remnant and Its Mission", p.153.
"One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy, This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White." "Seventh-day Adventist Believe 27," p.216.

Without Ellen G. White and her Bible Contradictions, the Seventh-day Adventist Church could not call itself the remnant church. In fact the Word of God never calls any denomination a remnant church or true church.

6. Adventist leaders and their members use the writings of Ellen G. White to
interpret the Scriptures. EGW's writings are the final arbitrator of doctrines.

Fulfilled: The Adventist’s claim to hold the Bible above all teachings, but in fact they interpret the Bible by the writings of Ellen G. White. This is demonstrated in their Sabbath school Quarterlies, sermons, and articles in their church paper, Adventist Review. Her counsel is to be followed as Scripture.

7. They publish their own Bible and insert their own doctrines into the text.

Fulfilled: The Seventh-day Adventist Church publishes The Clear Word Bible—now called The Clear Word. It is a cultic Bible that does not separate the Bible text from the author’s personal commentary, opinions, which slants the text to agree with the writings of Ellen G. White and other Adventist understandings to make the text say what he wants it to say. This corrupt piece of work, makes the Word of God unclear to the reader.

Adventist scholar Dr. Sakae Kubo say’s, "I am concerned about how our membership regard and use Blanco’s The Clear Word. Behind my remarks is a history of Bibles of this sort that have a terrible bias. The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ New World Translation is an obvious example—the divinity of Christ is removed and His createdness is brought out along with other tendential characteristics. The very obvious and serious danger is that our own people will be confused as to what the Bible really says. Interpretation has been so mixed in with the text that our people will think that the interpretation is part of the Word of God." (Adventist Review, April 1995, p.15.)

To see examples of how, The Clear Word Bibleperverts the Word of God, go to The Clear Word Exposed.

8. Religious cults look at individuals that leave their group as being lost, and without salvation.

Fulfilled: It is difficult for Seventh-day Adventists to fathom that a person leaving their church that disagree with Adventist doctrines can remain a Christian and still be saved. They often conclude someone must have hurt their feelings in an effort to justify their departure.

After I left the Adventist Church I had letters telling me I was being led by Satan, I was making war on God's church, I would burn in Hell, and that I should come back to the church, etc.

Christians that do not belong to the Seventh-day Adventist Church are often called "outsiders." When a Christian from another Church joins the Seventh-day Adventist Church, they are said, "to have come into the truth." They are often "encouraged" to be rebaptized.

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH

God Takes No Pleasure In The Death Of A Lost Sinner Ezek. 18:32

WE TOO SORROW

The depth of our sorrow is fashioned by the presence of God in us. The love of God constrains us to mourn as well as RETURN to sharing:

"The Way, The Truth & The Life"

who is Christ crucified, buried and risen for our sins and by His blood shed paid in full, FOR A BELIEVER, as the "propitiation", for the judgment of a living death for every lost sinner who dies in their sins.

THE GOSPEL SHARED BY YOU & BELIEVED

This God given ministry is the only remedy for the wages of sin being an eternal death. This separation from God, as you boldly share the truth, is forever in a conscious agonized state of misery with all other souls who so died and all evil spirits accompanied by their leader who is Satan!

John 5:29
"29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

Revelation 21:8
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

We know, perhaps better then most that God does not play games with sinners as we once were unabated, natural to our "sin nature" nor make light of His counsel. In the Gospel you preach the danger of dying in ones sins is crystal clear. That one will perish. The sinner will not be no more in sin; the soul/spirit God made lives forever. The dye is cast at death. God says:

" "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)."

OUR HEARTS CRY THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Repent and believe in the gospel!

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be harmed by the second death.

When the gospel comes, light comes; when it comes to any place, when it comes to any soul, it makes day there. Light discovers and directs; so does the gospel.

God takes no pleasure in any death; least that of a sinner who rejects His Son.God takes no pleasure in the self deceiving sinner whose hopes are baseless and vanish away at their last breath.

It is contrary to God's nature that he should take pleasure in the sinner's death, for his benevolence forbids it. He takes infinite delight in the happiness of his creatures, and, therefore, cannot take delight in their misery.

No doubt God will pity sinners in hell forever. He has given the highest evidence that he loves sinners. Think how long he spares them to live in their sins; at how great a sacrifice he sent his Son to die for them, even while they were yet enemies. What proof of love can be greater that this?

God can have no pleasure in the sinner's death, because, after the penalty is inflicted, he can show the sinner no more favor forever.

God can take no pleasure in the death of sinners, because, henceforward, their sufferings must be unmitigated and endless. Can God have any pleasure at all in this?

ARE THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES A CULT? + + + VIDEO

I encourage you to research any new church that claims to be the only true church or remnant church and that if we do not attend...or support...their organization, we have no chance at salvation.  If it denies the divinity of Christ Jesus, that He was created or the Archangel Michael, that is contrary to the infallibility of the Word of God.  Some people call it heretical and blasphemous.  I will be sharing a lot of information that is credible and with Biblical proof, not just opinions.  Please be careful as these wolves in sheep's clothing are destroying and devouring many.  It is so easy to recognize the obvious ones, like Jim Jones and David Koresh BUT these new churches sure seem like the real deal.

Know this, the easiest way to get someone to believe a lie is to wrap it in a beautiful package of truth.  God bless and be careful as your eternal life depends on it.

PROPHETIC VERSE FOUND IN TENNESEE; ISRAEL PROTECTED AND MORE...VIDEO

You need to watch the first part of this video and the one about the storm that protected Israel today.  A freak storm prevented the attacker (not sure which country) from going forward but not one drop of rain or dust crossed into the Israeli border.  It's not covered much on this video but you should find it and see what it says for yourself.  It is a "goosebump" video!  God bless and depending on my eyes, I may be on here a little but not much.  You guys must be praying for my eyes.  Thank you because they ARE getting better.  God bless you.

You really need to google the info on the storm in the Golan Heights.
That is nothing short of a miracle in my eyes.  Is God warning us today through
the Holy Scriptures???

PLAN OF SALVATION

SOME OTHERS + + + BY ABALONEKID

THE TRUE DISCIPLES FAITH LIVES: "JESUS IS LORD"

"JESUS IS LORD"

Salvation is a call to discipleship. One cannot have Jesus as Savior without also acknowledging Him as Lord.

Phil.2:
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Next comes, through Holy Spirit realization, a life lived in some self recognizable manner that signifies the true faith that saves IS working .

Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The New Testament uses the word for “Lord” (kurios) 748 times, and 667 of those times it is used in reference to God or Jesus “Jesus Christ our Lord". The New Testament uses the word for “savior” only 24 times.

Jesus Christ is most certainly our Savior, but this cannot be separated from the fact that Jesus Christ is Lord, and as Lord, He commands and we obey.

Jesus, in His Great Commission to the 11 remaining disciples, commanded them to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that He had commanded them (Matthew 28:19-20). Evangelism and discipleship go hand in hand. A disciple is one who observes (keeps, obeys) all that Jesus has commanded. There is NO two-stage process in Christianity—first, be saved; then become a disciple. This arbitrary distinction is foreign to the New Testament and therefore foreign to Christianity

GOD FIRST: LORD OF OUR LIFE

Jesus spoke to His disciples about discipleship in Luke 14:25-33. In that passage, Jesus says to the crowds that no one can be His disciple unless they first "hate" (comparative only) their family (v. 26). Furthermore, the one who cannot bear his own cross cannot be His disciple (v. 27). Two conditions are given by Jesus in order to be His disciple. The first is to be willing to renounce family in order to follow Jesus. The second is to be willing to die, both literally and metaphorically (“die to self”) in order to follow Jesus. Jesus then gives two examples of “counting the cost.” The first is an example of a man who desires to build a tower without first counting the cost of building the tower. After realizing he cannot complete it, he gives up in shame and embarrassment. The second is that of a king preparing to go to battle and making sure he can defend against the superior foe. The point Jesus is making is that discipleship has a cost.

Furthermore, discipleship requires repentance and obedience. At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, the message He preached was a message of repentance (Matthew 4:17). The message of the apostles after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension was also one of repentance (Acts 2:38 ). Along with repentance comes obedience. Jesus told a crowd of listeners that salvation and obedience go hand in hand: “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” (Luke 6:46). Jesus then goes on to differentiate the one who builds his house on the sand from the one who builds his house on the rock, that is, the man who not only hears the words of Jesus, but does them, too.

Salvation by grace alone through faith alone is so much more than simply mouthing the words “Jesus is Lord.” We are not saved by a profession of faith. We are not saved by praying the Sinner’s Prayer. We are not saved by signing a card or walking an aisle. We are saved by a living and active faith (James 2:14-26), a faith that manifests itself in repentance, obedience and love of God and our neighbor. Salvation is not a transaction; it’s a transformation. Paul says it best when he says we are “new creations” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). There is nothing “cheap” about grace!

Matt. 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

IF SAVED JESUS IS LORD OF OUR LIFE: IT IS OUR CONVICTION IN OUR SOUL. A CENTRAL TRUTH OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IS THAT WE BECOME UNITED TO A LIVING CHRIST. THAT IS ALL IMPORTANT.

Acts 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ."

Jesus IS Lord. He IS sovereign. His sovereignty is the important thing in our Christian life. HE IS GOD THE SON!

Matthew 16:
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Jesus IS the Anointed One. He is the King. He is the Lord. None of us is fit to serve unless He has mastered us

The Holy Spirit commands our obedience and allegiance to Jesus. The Holy Spirit interprets the lordship in our life. The unifying work of the Holy Spirit is to reveal the lordship of Jesus to all believers. Within this unity is diversity of gifts. 1 Cor.12:4 (See 5-13 as well for a full study)

Learn why so many fall away. Why so many are apostate and heretics. Why so many who professed belief were never saved. And why the fruits of repentance never appear.Their blood is on us if we do not testify in full belief exemplified in our walk in the faith given by God to us to believe God in the first place. And this comes by His free gift to those God calls and who were known to God before this world was made. Eph.1:3-14

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

"JESUS IS LORD" is a ever evolving supernatural life through God the Holy Spirit in us who will never leave a born again Christian!

Rom.10:13-15
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 1 Cor.12:3

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Gal.6:14

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom.8:39

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? 1 Th.2:19

SOME OTHERS

2 Pet.2:1-3
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

2 Pet.2:19-21
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

WHY SHOULD YOU FORGIVE? (VIDEO)F

If holy and righteous GOD YAHWEY forgives us our sins just by trusting Him, and by asking, who are we to do less?  Salvation is all about forgiveness and being Christ-like.  If we cannot or will not forgive another, what are we telling our Savior?  So to anyone I've hurt, please forgive me and rest assured, IF you ever hurt me, you have been forgiven by me and it is no longer in my memory.  God bless you!

ON THAT DAY WE LIVE

There is ONE resurrection of all the dead who believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It takes place in two parts.

1st. The church of the faithful Saints who form His body on earth in this age of grace rise first at the Rapture. The true Bride (Church) is no longer on earth. This precedes the Day of the Lord; God's active judging of sinners on earth which the Tribulation of 7 years is a part of and continuing throughout Christ's personal reign on earth for 1000 years until the final judgment of all sinners at His Great White Throne judgment seat.

At the close of the Great Tribulation He raises all the Old Testament saints (Jew and Gentiles) and those Gentile and Jewish saint's who died in the Tribulation. THIS IS THE CONCLUSION OF THE FIRST RESURRECTION TO LIFE EVERLASTING

SCRIPTURE TRUTHS
The Scriptures are, quite simply, the Bible which consists of 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. Each one is inspired, without error in the original documents, and is completely accurate in all things it addresses. The entire Bible, though written by many people over thousands of years, is harmonious in all its teachings. This is because each book of the Bible is inspired.

IN WHAT FORM ARE WE RAISED?

Jesus rose from the dead in the very same physical body in which He died. This resurrected, physical body was a glorified, spiritual body. The spiritual body is not merely "spirit." The spiritual body is the resurrected, glorified, physical body.

1 Cor.15:
20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

WILL WE HAVE BLOOD?

Jesus had shed His blood on the cross. It quite literally had drained out of His body. We see that when Jesus rose from the dead, He still had the holes in His hands and feet (Luke 24:39). Since He retained the characteristics of His bodily ordeal, it is logical to state that His blood, which was literally drained from His body, was likewise still shed. Therefore, His body could be raised, and the blood remained shed as the thing that "makes atonement": "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement." (Lev. 17:11).

Jesus is our High Priest above. His blood is the continuing atonement for our sins which breaks fellowship with our Father until confession is made (1 John 1:5-10) that keeps us in our state of being saved.

"Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25). "Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water" (Hebrews 10:22).

These passages of Scripture remind us the help in time of need is available every moment in our daily life. We are without excuse. God has made the great provision for the lost sinner as well as the believer. Whenever and whatever the need may be God's grace is all-sufficient and is ever available.

Our great High Priest offered the supreme sacrifice for our sins on the cross, and as a merciful and faithful High Priest He invites us sinners to come to His throne of grace.

AFTER HE ROSE

After the resurrection, Jesus was able to eat (Luke 24:42-43). He showed people His hands and feet with the nail prints in them (Luke 24:39; John 20:27), and people even grabbed His feet and worshiped Him (Matt. 28:9).

As the reports of Jesus' resurrection were spreading, Thomas, who was doubting the resurrection of Christ, said, "Unless I shall see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." (John 20:25). Later, Jesus appeared to Thomas and said to him, "Reach here your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing." (John 20:27).

WE WILL SEE JESUS CHRIST FACE TO FACE

After spending forty days with His disciples, Jesus ascended bodily into heaven (Acts 1:9). Jesus is still human, and He has a human body in heaven right now. His body is different, however; earthly human flesh is perishable, but heavenly bodies are imperishable (1 Corinthians 15:50). Jesus has a physical body, with a difference. His resurrected body is designed with eternity in view.

WE WILL BE LIKE JESUS

1 Corinthians 15:35–49 describes what the body of the believer will be like in heaven. Our heavenly bodies will differ from our earthly ones in type of flesh, in splendor, in power, and in longevity. The apostle Paul also states that the believer’s body will be an image of Christ’s body (verse 49). Paul discusses this subject again in 2 Corinthians, where he compares earthly bodies to tents and heavenly bodies to heavenly dwellings (2 Corinthians 5:1–2). Paul says that, once the earthly tents come off, Christians will not be left “naked”—that is, without a body to live in (2 Corinthians 5:3). When the new body is “put on,” we will go from mortality to immortality (2 Corinthians 5:4).

So, we know that the Christian will have a heavenly body like Jesus’ “glorious body” (Philippians 3:21). At His incarnation Jesus took on human flesh, and at His resurrection His body was glorified—although He retained the scars (John 20:27). He will forever be the God-Man, sacrificed for us. Christ, the Creator of the universe, will forever stoop to our level, and He will be known to us in heaven in a tangible form that we can see, hear, and touch (Revelation 21:3–4; 22:4).

SOME MEAT TO EAT: Ist Part of First Resurrection Of Dead To Eternal Life (THE BRIDE GOES UP FIRST)

1 Thess.4:
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Conclusion Of First Resurrection Of All Other Saints: Jew and Gentiles

John 11:
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world.”

The "last day" is the day Messiah returns to earth as the Lion of The Tribe of Judah to defeat all Israel's enemies and judge all lost sinners and nations for their national sins against Israel in gathering against her with Antichrist to destroy her. And raise all the remaining Old Testament saints and tribulation saints who have died to eternal life

“I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

May God bless the sharing and reading of His Word.
