Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals." Revelation 5:5
We have Victory through Jesus Christ, he is The Lion of Judah and the Root of David that has been prophesied throughout the Bible. He is the only one worthy to open the Book of Life because we have been redeemed by his blood.
The Lion of Judah was prophesied since Genesis
You are a lion's cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness--who dares to rouse him? (Genesis 49:9)
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. (Genesis 49:10)
Who dares to wage war with the Lion of Judah? We know the Dragon (Satan) and his followers are foolish enough to and will be destroyed into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10) The King of Kings will not depart from Judah, he will rule over all the nations and governments (Isaiah 9:7)
So do not weep Children of God, rejoice for your King , The Lion of Judah is victorious , fighting our battles and will sit on the throne forever in Jesus Name Amen

As we all know, a lot of "fake" news stories have been shared and I blame both parties, not just one. The media has sold itself and is very biased. In fact, now even "real" news are being doubted, like school shootings, Pulse nightclub, Sandy Hook and even the one that occurred in Dallas not too long ago. When did money become more important than honesty and integrity? We don't know what to believe anymore. Hopefully, this video will help you learn to discern what is true and what isn't. One site I read said that when you see the words "BREAKING NEWS," to start looking for certain things as many are fake. God bless and I hope this helps us all! HAPPY THANKSGIVING and in ALL things, first give thanks to God!

We're all searching for answers to how we should live and how to stand strong in these increasingly uncertain, turbulent times.
It seems the world is in the most unstable, chaotic and shakable position it has ever been in—from the economy, politics and global terrorism to the very fibers of morality. I think, for most of us, it's becoming more and more obvious each and every day that our relationship with God—who He is and how He sees us—is the only thing that can't change. However, what is not always so obvious to us is how our moment-by-moment thoughts and feelings become barriers to experiencing the close relationship with God we seek, especially in these times.
We grow in intimacy with God when we think and feel the same way He does about ourselves and others. In other words, when our hearts are "aligned" with His. Did you ever notice that it's impossible to experience intimacy with God when you are critical, accusing, condemning or shaming of yourself or others? That's because you are not aligned with His heart—you are not thinking or feeling the same way He does about you and others.
He would never speak to you in a condemning way, and He doesn't see others that way. He sees us as we were created to be: in His image, holy, blameless and beyond reproach, beautiful to Him even in our weakness and imperfection. His heart is ravished by us and by others. Therefore, if you want to experience a closer, more intimate relationship with God, it's important that in the moment-by-moment of each day, you are aware of how you are thinking and feeling about yourself and others.
Let me share some personal examples. Lately I have been really down on myself for being so far behind in everything. No matter where I look, there is a bold reminder screaming to me, "You are so far behind. You'll never catch up. You're a loser. You're a bad wife. You shouldn't be in ministry. You're a failure. How could you have let this happen? Everything is your fault. You're going to ruin everything." Those words are lies coming straight from the enemy. They are accusing and condemning, and they result in shame, hiding, shrinking back, embarrassment, fear and paralysis—not exactly what I'd call the "fruit of the Spirit." On the contrary, they are the fruit of believing the enemy's lies, and they end up blocking my intimacy with God.
You see, in those times when I'm believing lies about myself, I'm not aligning my thoughts and feelings with how God sees me. Therefore, I'm not able to experience intimacy with Him. The problem is, sometimes we've been hearing these messages for so long, we actually believe they're true. We don't even recognize that they're lies, let alone how they are blocking us from intimacy with God. So when we end up feeling distant from God, we blame Him and accuse Him of rejecting, abandoning or condemning us. Have you ever felt that way, or is it just me?
Other times, my heart is not aligned with God's heart toward others. Perhaps I'm focused on their shortcomings, weaknesses, imperfections. Maybe I think more about how they've wronged me or hurt me or how they have not lived up to my expectations, appreciated me, been fair to me, accepted me or meet whatever my needs were. When I focus on these things and think negative, critical thoughts about others, talk to other people about them or try to avoid them, I'm not aligned with God's heart toward them.
It's impossible to experience intimacy with Him during those moments of criticism. He desires to bless others, heal them and draw them closer to Himself. He desires to build them up, His heart is ravished by them, and His love for them is unconditional. The problem in this case is that often we feel justified in our negative thoughts and feelings toward others. After all, they wronged us, rejected us, accused us and didn't appreciate us, and so we have a right to be hurt! Maybe so, but unfortunately, whether we are justified or not, in those moments we are aligning with the enemy's thoughts and feelings toward that other person, and we increase the enemy's reign in the situation and block our ability to experience intimacy with God.
I truly believe that God, in His mercy, is giving us time now to become aware of and deal with the moment-by-moment thoughts and feelings about ourselves and others that block our intimacy with Him. It's no longer a nice-to-know message, something you can apply simply when you want to in order to feel better about yourself. Remember, intimacy with God is your No. 1 anchor. I believe your very survival—your ability to stand unshaken, not deceived and able to face persecution in the days to come—depends upon it. Make a commitment now to deal with anything that blocks your intimacy with God, and you'll be able to stand strong—no matter how uncertain the future.

Have We Lost the Meaning of Thanksgiving?
Why does it seem that Thanksgiving Day is no longer important in America today, and why is the attitude of thanksgiving no longer important to many all around the world?
Thanksgiving Day is almost here. Yet it seems I can count on just one hand the references made to this national holiday in the weeks leading up to it. It seems to be an afterthought between the more commercialized Halloween and Christmas holidays. Why?
Why doesn’t anyone talk about Thanksgiving Day anymore?
God is not important to most Americans
Thanksgiving was instituted by Abraham Lincoln 153 years ago for the nation to show gratitude to God for His blessings. Has this meaning become lost? Has the United States taken its blessings for granted? God warned ancient Israel of this dangerous trap—that instead of thanking Him for their blessings, they would come to believe the blessings they enjoyed came from their own efforts (Deuteronomy 8:10-17).
It is this flawed thinking that leads some to refer to this day as “Turkey Day,” which switches our attention from a day of giving thanks to God to a day of gorging ourselves with food! It is this thinking that leads us to spend our time watching football and poring over the Thursday newspaper’s Black Friday ads instead of giving thanks to God.
Yes, Thanksgiving’s meaning is lost to many because our priorities are not right. Instead of focusing on God, we focus on ourselves. Relegating God to a minor role in our lives—refusing to acknowledge His blessings—has contributed to so many of our problems.
The Bible is very direct about the tragic results in the lives of those who refuse to thank God: “Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened” (Romans 1:21, emphasis added).
The results of ingratitude
When we are genuinely thankful, it humbles us and helps us recognize that we truly are undeserving of all the good things we have. But when such humility is replaced by pride, it produces the dangerous attitude of ingratitude.
God may not be important to many people today, but that doesn’t change the fact that everyone is important to God.An attitude of unthankfulness (which fails to retain God in our thinking) leads to flawed thinking and actions. “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves … And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting” (verses 24, 28).
Just consider the headlines that fill the news. Stop and think about the horrible atrocities committed almost every day, the constant stream of broken homes and relationships, the sexual immorality prevalent in our culture, the increasing violence both in our streets and entertainment.
As we contemplate such things, we should be concerned! This is exactly what God said would happen when we forget about Him (verses 29-31).
Make the attitude of thanksgiving a part of your life
Even though God may not be important to many people today, that doesn’t change the fact that everyone is important to God. God has an incredible purpose for us to become children in His family (2 Peter 3:9; Hebrews 2:6-8)! That purpose should humble us.
Taking time to seriously consider that God really is concerned about each of us individually can be a first step toward living a life filled with thanksgiving. The more we consider how much we have to be thankful for, the more important God will be in our lives.
The apostle Paul encourages us, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). God wants us to look for things to be thankful for. And when we start looking for obvious things to be thankful for, we end up finding a gold mine of not so obvious things to also be thankful for! It is by doing this that we can develop an attitude of gratitude in our lives.
So, even if the concept of truly being thankful on Thanksgiving is dead to some, make sure it isn’t dead to you. Take time to appreciate the good things in your life and thank God for the big things and the simple things that are easily taken for granted. When we do this, we will come to a deeper comprehension of how blessed we really are.

THEREFORE, SINCE We (Believers) ARE RECEIVING A KINGDOM (The Kingdom OF GOD Almighty), WHICH CAN NOT BE SHAKEN, LET Us (Believers) HAVE GRACE, BY WHICH, We (Believers) MAY SERVE GOD (GOD Almighty) ACCEPTABLY, WITH REVERENCE AND GODLY FEAR. FOR Our GOD (GOD Almighty) IS A CONSUMING FIRE.

THEN, We (Living Believers) WHO ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN, Shall BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER, WITH Them (The Dead IN Christ), IN THE CLOUDS, TO MEET THE LORD (Jesus Christ) IN THE AIR. AND THUS, We (Believers) Shall ALWAYS BE WITH THE LORD (Jesus Christ).
