HEBREW WORD OF THE DAY...GUESS THE WORD!

You know I love to play and have clean fun.  Guess Monday's word and please feel free to post your guess ina comment.  Not gonna grade ya so go ahead and play with me.

The first part of the word is a tool that a lumberjack, a firefighter or the owner of a Christmas Tree Farm would use!

The next one letter word, you are born with two of them and if you didn't have one or both, you couldn't read this.

The last part of the word is something that everyone who buys a brand new, very expensive car is terrified will happen as they drive it off the lot.  They want it to be without flaw.

Now,add these together and reread the third one and the answer is, you REALLY don't want this word to happen the day you get your new car but if you do, you really care more no one is hurt.

WHAT WORD AMi?

God bless and have a blessed, safe and happy week!

Shalom!

DID ANYONE FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HEBREW WORD OF THE DAY ON FRIDAY WAS? ANSWER BELOW:

Thanks to all who played, either online or just in their head.  I'm not going to post this until Saturday but getting it ready now so I won't forget.  God bless and shalom.

Thanks to the many men, women and parents who have chosen to donate this organ so that others may live.  That's very admirable.  I especially want to thank those who choose to be living donors, not knowing what's in their future, and donating this organ to a stranger or loved one.  MERCY!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

HEBREW WORD OF THE DAY

I meant to post this much earlier tonight, before the traditional Sabbath began but I wasn't home and then I forgot.  Please accept my apology and I meant no offense.  I always try to respect Jewish Holy Days even if I don't personally celebrate them.  We're going to play a game with this word as I want my page to be enjoyable to hopefully draw those who need to hear the Gospel and those seeking TRUTH, will be helped by my page.  Instead of telling you the word, I'm going to post a few pictures of hints of the Word of the Day to see how many people get it right.  I'm going to put a poll on the top of the right-hand side and if you think you know the answer, or not, let me know.  I'll post the word tomorrow!  God bless, have fun and love in Christ Jesus!

+ + +

The Good Lord gave you 2 and we can usually live with only one.   I'm also tasty as a vegetable, especially in chili.  I'm also known by some pretty harsh words at 2:00 in the a.m., especially by women with child!  What word am I?

I AM A ________.

GOD BLESS AND SHABBAT SHALOM!

PERSONAL CONVICTIONS, THE 'WORLD", PROOF OF THE RESURRECTION" BY BRENDA ALEXANDER

I  try to make things fun and/or funny whenever possible so long as it's clean.  I've never cared for vulgar jokes or major adult humor but puns and jokes that can be a little bit off-color, so long as it does not dishonor God or even hint for someone to sin, I am personally okay with that to a small degree. However, because that's not sin to me doesn't mean it is not a sin or stumbling block to other Christians. I wouldn't share an off-color joke on here.  IF I drank the occasional drink...which I do not...I would keep that to myself.  The Bible doesn't forbid it but what if my brethren are alcoholics?  I will not knowingly be a stumbling block to my brothers and sisters.  Also, there's no specific thing this post is about, just sharing.

The Apostle Paul said, "ALL things are lawful to me but not all things are profitable."  It's fine if we eat non-Kosher food today as Christians but that doesn't mean because we are allowed to eat pork or shellfish, that it's GOOD for us.  It doesn't profit us in any way but does, in fact, cause us physical problems (or it can).  He's telling us, as I was told, that that we are totally free of the Law of Moses, we are under a NEW Covenant with Almighty God though His Son, Yeshua ah Messiach (Jesus Christ) and have liberty.  We CAN go see a movie if we want to but we are not to ask or even mention that movie to another brother or sister in Christ who may feel that it is wrong for them to go to movies, especially true for the newborns or the newly saved Christians who are (and as we all will be until death) in the process of maturing in the Word, grace and the Gospel.

A man once told me that we are convicted by the Holy Spirit of something we do in our lives that are in no way sins and don't dishonor God at all BUT it IS a stumbling block or a personal sin to them.  He then said the Holy Spirit convicted him of drinking Cokes.  He said he didn't know why God chose to convict him to stop drinking any soda, pop, cola or whatever you call it.  He went on to say though that he'd be more than happy to buy a Coke (the soda, not the drug, lol) for me.

I was a bit confused about this but I was 16 and while a firm believer, I had no idea what the Bible really says.  BTW, I almost said...what the Bible really SAID instead of says and I want to caution you about that.  What the Bible SAID 2,000 years ago, it is STILL SAYING it today.  Use some common sense and discernment on this and it also depends on the context, Old or New Testament and what your message is (as this is not a hard and fast "rule") but when we say SAID instead of SAYS, some nonbelievers may say or think it said that 4,000 years ago but it's not saying it now.  God never changes.  He is the same yesterday, tomorrow and forever.  If God said "Thou shalt not kill" when He gave the 10 Commandments to Moses in the burning bush many centuries ago, He meant it then, today and every single day.  So, for the sake of the Canon and keeping it pure and infallible, let's use words that tell others that God changes not.  Genesis 1:1 was written for every single person ever born as is John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, the Gospels, Acts, and every God-breathed inspired Word in that glorious Book of all books.  Let God be true and every man a liar.  Of course this is my opinion based on the Bible and exercising my God-given ability to discern His Word.

The Bible is being attacked as never before.  The word "world" in the Bible, usually refers to unbelievers but you also have to take into account the context, who the person is talking to, what they're saying and discern if it's referring to sinful and unrepentant people.  "For God so loved the WORLD...." I take it to mean both believers and nonbelievers; Jews and gentiles, men and women, etc.  But when Jesus Christ says for we live in this "world" but we are not a part of this "world," I believe He's referring to both the physical plane as well as we are not partakers of the sins of "the world" which would, of course, mean the unbeliever.  Justin Peters, a very Godly man, said that every verse has one meaning but many applications.

Learning to discern the Bible is an amazing journey of growing in the Word.  When you first realize you understood something perfectly that you'd struggled with for years, it is what I call a "faith bomb" because it's mind blowing and so amazing you want to just scream GLORY BE TO GOD from the top of a mountain.  Guess what, you don't get EVER get over that feeling either, as it just gets better and better every single time.  This is especially true when you get to one you NEVER thought you'd understand.  You can't help but give Him the glory.  No room for one doubt that it didn't come from God.  If it came from YOUR understanding, you'd have gotten it long before and you'd probably have been wrong, lol.  It's also amazing when you find that what a verse you thought meant one thing but come to find out it means something else, that's another "faith bomb."  So from now on, consider the context of my posts but FB refers to "faith bomb" rather than FaceBook.  I'll put up a list of "Brenda's Biblical Internet Slang" on the right hand side of my blog later this evening or over the weekend (unless I forget). I'll write myself a note.

My intent was to restart my sharing of every day's new Hebrew word that I used to share almost every day.  Unless they were words referring to God, and just regular words like alligator or light bulb, I would bring out my awesome gift of a sense of humor (I do have one and it IS a special gift from God) and "pretend" to be the greatest comedian on Blogspot, and make them fun and/or funny.  I've thought of some new ways to make them fun so each day will be a surprise!  Today's is gonna be really funny, I hope. You're gonna have to guess the word and later on, I'll post it. Help me make my blog a fun, enjoyable and inspirational blog.  However, it is a GOSPEL-PREACHING, UNCOMPROMISING and an "IN YOUR FACE GOSPEL" page first and foremost.  Christian Apologetics, teaching, learning, studying the Word of God and getting the WORLD's rear ends saved is my ONLY priority.  The rest is to get people to want to read it.  FYI, some of the titles of my posts MAY be very misleading from now on!  For example, I saw a YouTube video that made me angry.  The title was something like "How to Prove that Christianity is False."  It was short and I sometimes listen to them to know what atheists claim so I can find Biblical answers and know how to rapid-fire "defend my faith." It was by High Impacts (not the right name but close -- will share this awesome video tonight) and it was NOT what I expected.  Oh, it was how to prove Christianity false with one answer (close enough).  Ultimately, it was ALL about the Gospel and the only way to disprove Christianity is to prove that Jesus Christ did NOT rise from the grave.  It is an awesome series of videos.  They draw on a dry erase board and speed up the film so it's fun to watch and awesome to hear.

(IT IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK, AWESOME VIDEO!)

Many very well educated, highly intelligent men and women have spent countless years of their lives trying to prove that Jesus Christ didn't rise and to date, exactly ZERO (0, naught, zip, nobody ever) people have been able to prove that.  Listen to Lee Stroebel's "A Case for Christ" or Dinesh D'Souza's book called "What SO Great About Christianity" to see that no one can even come close to proving that but rather when Lee investigated the Resurrection, he was an Op-Ed journalist for a big-wig newspaper in Chicago, brilliant man who wanted no part of God in his life, got so mad when his wife got saved that he spent 2 years doing nothing but investigating the claims.  He was determined to kick God out of his home even though he said his marriage was getting better and better but God was NOT in his plans but all he succeeded in doing -- thank you God -- is convince himself that God is real, the Bible is truth and like Dinesh said, Christianity has done more good for this world than every religion put together since time began.

Last and then I'll be quiet for a few, the Pharisees (the elite Jewish men and Rabbis in Christ's time) as well as the Roman government was desperate to prove the same thing and there is actually more secular proof of the Resurrection TRUTH than Biblical. IF Yeshua ah Messiach had been "just a man" and not the Son of the One True Living God, they'd have found His body.  People had to go into a pit where they just threw crucified men into after death to find His body!  I'm sure they didn't like their jobs very much either.  They bribed the guards to lie that they'd fallen asleep and the Disciples stole His body and while I'm not sure if they did or not, I do believe they told the truth, that an angel appeared and a sealed tomb that could not possibly have been rolled away by 2-3 men as that stone weighed many tons and was nailed shut with spikes bigger than our arms.  So better men than anyone alive today have tried...and failed...majorly that Jesus did NOT rise from the grave.  The fact is, archaeologists believe they have found the genuine tomb of Jesus Christ and there are markings showing that the tomb was sealed and it fits in perfectly with every OT Messianic prophecy ever written.

I have no real point to this post except to share some facts I've learned during my journey to Heaven.  While not always easy, it's simple.  WE make it far more difficult than God did.  Our Heavenly Father saved us by grace alone; through faith alone; through Christ alone.  He is the narrow gate that leads to everlasting life in the presence of God.  He did it all.  There's nothing you can do to build on it, complete it, or earn it.  You sure can't buy it!

CROSSWALK CHRISTMAS STORIES SLIDESHOW

10 Christmas Stories You Should Read Again and Again

Traditions reign during Christmas. Every family has a way of doing all things Christmas-sy. Whether you have a real or fake tree, colored or white lights, serve ham or turkey, are visited by Santa or an elf, you all have traditions.
These help make the holiday celebrations magical. They remind us of the extraordinary event that happened over two thousand years ago when God became flesh in a fragile newborn. They fill our hearts with the joy that comes from giving, and they prompt us to spend time with our loved ones.
As a writer, reader, mom, and former teacher and children’s ministry director, one of my most cherished traditions is to read Christmas stories to the young ones in my life. These have touched my family and the children I’ve served. They’re a mix of old, new, popular, little-known, folklore, and poem, and all would make great additions to your December.
Here are the 10 Christmas Stories You Should Read Again and Again:

WE ALL HAVE GOD-GIVEN GIFTS OF TALENT - USE THEM TO HIS GLORY & I NEED FEEDBACK

I want to be a writer...a published writer but not for money, fame or glory but for Him.  So, you're my practice family.  I'm going to write and I want honest, constructive criticism as well as anything good.  This isn't one of those "do I look fat in these jeans" type of question.  The only way I'll improve is to know how well (or bad) I am and what I need to fix.  As long as your feedback is to help me, you cannot possibly hurt my feelings.  Will I be disappointed?  I don't know, but if so, it will be in myself.  However, I've always felt unworthy and without any talents.  I'm really hard on myself.  Ir seems my sister got the majority of the talent "genes" and while not "proud" in an unGodly way, I am very proud that my sister is one fantastic artist and whatever she does, it's almost perfect.  She makes stained glass that is as good, if not better, than anything Tiffany ever did.  She's an amazing woman.  However, I write better AND I have one very unique God-given talent (I boast only in the gifts God has given me, not myself) and that's I can take random ingredients and make a recipe.

For example, because of my David's quad bypass, he has be careful what he eats and hamburger just isn't good for anybody but so many great recipes call for it.  Well, we're poor.  We eat too much junk but God has now provided us with a way to get healthier food.  He is amazing.  Well, I HATE turkey.  I don't like it ground, whole or sandwich meat.  I think it is nasty.  However, my David breathing is far more important than my taste buds.  Instead of making hamburgers, I started making turkey burgers.  David raved about how good they were.  Honestly, in my heart I know he was just trying not to hurt my feelings but no need.  It is no reflection on me if a particular food tastes like it came from a dumpster, lol.  I also think he was trying to sort of talk himself into liking it.  Finally, I'd had it.  The next time he asked for burgers, it was gonna be hamburger or nothing.  If I put another slimy, nasty turkey thing in my mouth, it was going to come back out.  Well, God gifted me with these 2 things...creativity and imagination.  He also gifted me with the ability and love of cooking and baking with a BONUS of making up recipes.  Some are good, some not as good but it's healthy, edible and cheap.  I want to share a very simple recipe I made and because turkey is healthier and much cheaper than hamburger, I got desperate to find a way to make it taste better.  There's 3 different recipes here so if you so choose to try it, taste is not absolute truth.  I can't promise you that YOU will like it but we do.  If David likes it, anybody will, lol.  He is THE pickiest eater in the world. I have to hide vegetables.  I'm also gifted with a sense of humor (glory be to God for this) and I think he's afraid if he eats a "vegetable," he is committing cannibalism and could be eating one of his relatives.  That is JUST a joke.  He's one smart man.

So I am going to make a post shortly of some recipes I made.  I will be sharing more the closer to Christmas on what to do with leftovers when you're so sick of 'em you want to throw them out.  I hope you enjoy.  God bless you all.

God's Perfect Plan of Salvation

Yeshua ah Messiach died on the cross to save you from your sins. You can't earn, buy it and no one deserves it. "For we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves.  It is a GIFT of GOD.  Not of works lest any man should boast."

THE CROSS SAVED AND THE GRAVE, WHERE IS THEY STING?  DEATH, WHERE IS THE VICTORY?  YESHUA OVERCAME DEATH AND HELL WHEN HE ROSE FROM THE GRAVE. IT IS THE POWER OF SALVATION!

MY GOD GIVEN TALENT - RECIPES I MADE (HE GIFTED ME WITH THE ABILITY TO COOK/BAKE)

Here's a few "turkey" recipes I created.  I hope you like them.

+ + + + + + + + + + + +

Onion Soup Turkey Burgers

2 lbs ground Turkey
1 package of dry Onion Soup mix per 1-2 lbs turkey
Use one or all - Chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (depending on taste preference

HOW TO COOK

Mix the ground turkey and package(s) of onion soup mix in a bowl.  Mix well.  I prefer to use 2 packets of the soup mix but to taste.  Fry until done over medium to med-high heat.  Turn heat to high and sprinkle with any one or any mixture of the spices.  Cook until brown (about a minute).  Put on buns and add your favorite hamburger toppings.

____________

TURKEY BURGERS WITH HAMBURGER FLAVOR

1-2 lbs ground turkey
1-2 packets of dry onion soup mix
Chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (any one, mixture or all to taste)
Beef fat melted

Mix the ground turkey and dry soup mix.  Use saved beef fat and melt in a frying pan.  Cook until done and then finish off with the spices in the recipe above, depending on your taste.  Paprika browns the burgers without adding any noticable flavor, add the others if you prefer spicier burgers.  Place on bun and top it as you would a burger!

______________

TURKEY AND BEEF BURGERS

Note:  If you really want a beef tasting burger, this is the best recipe)

1-2 lbs ground turkey
1/2 lb of 80% lean hamburger
Spices in above recipes

Mix together the beef and turkey.  In this recipe, you want to use beef with the highest fat content but you won't need but 1/2 lb at most per 2 lbs ground turkey.  You can also use beef broth or a boullion (sp) cube instead of hamburger but it's not quite as beefy and use the onion soup mix if you do this.  Drain the broth and then brown the burgers with the spices.  Place on bun and top it off!

NOW ENJOY AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU LIKED THEM.  I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE FIRST ONE AS IT IS VERY GOOD, UNIQUE FLAVOR BUT I SOMETIMES CHEAT AND ADD SOME BEEF FAT WITH IT. EITHER WAY, IT MAKES GROUND TURKEY BURGERS ASTE BETTER!  GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

JERUSALEM...I'M WITH THESE GUYS!

Foreign ministers from India, Russia and China notably refrained from recognizing ‘East Jerusalem’ as the capital of Palestine at their annual meeting in New Delhi this week – seven days after the US recognized the holy city as the capital of Israel.
The decision not to restate the position on Jerusalem long-held by all three countries was in marked contrast to their joint call at last year’s meeting in Moscow for a “sovereign, independent, viable and united State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital.” At this year’s 15th annual meeting, their statement on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict stressed support for “an independent, viable, territorially contiguous Palestinian State living side by side in peace and security with Israel within mutually agreed and internationally recognized borders,” without mentioning the issue of Jerusalem.
The absence of Jerusalem from Tuesday’s statement is particularly striking given the strident opposition to the US move in the Arab and Muslim worlds. Turkey and Iran, both of whom retain close diplomatic and security ties with all three countries, have led the denunciation of the US announcement on Jerusalem.
India in particular stands out for not having even taken a position on the US decision. Asked for clarification of India’s position on December 7, a spokesperson for the External Affairs Ministry said simply, “India’s position on Palestine is independent and consistent. It is shaped by our views and interests, and not determined by any third country.” Bilateral relations between Israel and India were handed an unprecedented boost by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s high-profile visit to the Jewish state in July of this year.
Russia’s individual position is also under scrutiny, following the announcement by its foreign ministry last April that Moscow was recognizing West Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. At the time, the Russians stated their reaffirmation of their “commitment to the UN-approved principles for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which include the status of ‘East Jerusalem’ as the capital of the future Palestinian state. At the same time, we must state that in this context we view ‘West Jerusalem’ as the capital of Israel.” That statement went onto declare support “for the two-state solution as an optimal option that meets the national interests of the Palestinian and Israeli people, both of whom have friendly relations with Russia.”
Meanwhile, China’s official statement in response to Trump’s decision expressed strong concern at the security implications of the move but stopped short of full-throated condemnation. A spokesperson for the foreign ministry even implied that historic claims of exclusive Arab ownership of the city are not as clear-cut as Palestinian leaders might believe.

“The question over the status of Jerusalem is complicated and sensitive,” foreign ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said, following Trump’s recognition announcement. “All parties should be cautious in order to maintain peace. All parties should avoid shaking the long-term foundations of solving the Palestinian issues, and avoid creating new divisions in the region.”

To me now it is the very reason we celebrate this Holiday...to worship God for the birth of Jesus Christ.  All the food, trimmings and food didn't matter at the end to Whoville.  All that mattered was His birth.  They're faithfulness to Almighty God melted Grinch's heart and he was saved and his heart transformed!

SEE YOU SOON

I just wanted to let you know, I plan on restarting my blog in the next few weeks.  I've missed you but had some battles I've fought but Jesus Christ already won over 2,000 years ago on a hill called Calvary.  I've missed you all and spreading the Gospel but I needed to KNOW the true and only GOSPEL OF SALVATION, where I stand and I just couldn't risk sharing contradictory material or the wrong doctrine.  Forgive me, my dear friends.  It's been a rough year and the holidays are especially hard on me.  I'll be back participating in my groups by the first of the year.  Thanks for your patience and understanding but when God decides to test you by fire, it is an amazing, wonderful day when you faith is pure!  I love you all!  Worthy is the Lamb that was slain.  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.  Treat every single day of the year as if it were the day of His birth.

PROVING JESUS CHRIST IS GOD TO A JEHOVAH'S WITNESS

How many of you have ever tried witnessing the TRUTH to a JW?  If you have, you know it's pretty much impossible because they only use THEIR Bible to prove their doctrine and they have a ready-made answer to any true scripture you share with them.  The only hope is using their Bible to prove their teaching is false.  So, in case you need this information at some point in your life, all I can say is pray, pray, pray and let the Holy Spirit guide you.  God bless!

SHABBOT SHALOM!

IN MEMORY

The world is a little sadder today.  The great actor Jim Nabors passed away yesterday or the day before.  I had such a crush on him when I was a young child.  He was so funny and you'd never expect him to sing the way he could.  The first song I heard him sing was "The Impossible Dream" and even at 7 or 8, I was amazed at the sound that came out of his mouth.  I'd never have believed that man could sing so well it was almost pure perfection.  However, that's not his best song.  This one is and it's "O Holy Night."  I pray he believed in our Lord God and Savior and please, no judgment or condemnation.  He will be missed and rest in peace, my dear friend.  God bless your soul.  Enjoy and God bless you all.

PRAISE GOD...TESTIMONY OF A MUSLIM MAN WHO FOUND CHRIST JESUS! REJOICE!

I love all types of testimonies, especially the ones that line up with scripture.  This is very touching and shows the Grace of God and His immense love for all mankind.  NO ONE is unwelcome in the Kingdom of God by Him.  We Christians sure condemn many to hell but God NEVER does.  Maybe we should STOP THAT RIGHT NOW and do what we were told...love they enemies; do good to them and pray for them.  Did Jesus ever lie?  So then don't you think maybe, just maybe He knows something we do not?  Enjoy and God Almighty loves Muslims too.  They are His children as well.  Pray their eyes be opened and love them. God bless and send me YOUR testimonies!

"For ye are saved by grace through faith.  It is a gift of God.  Not of works lest any man should boast!"  Ephesians 2:8-9

The Plan of Salvation

First Corinthians 15:1-11
John 3:16-17
John 1:1
John 1:14
Acts 8:37 (refers to confession Christ Jesus)

If the above scripture is not in the Bible you are reading and the words "Christ Jesus" cannot be found, that is a FALSE BIBLE.  Get a Strong's Concordance, a 1973 or older dictionary (regular), the New KJV and, of course, a KJV with red letters, footnotes and references.  IF you read the NKJV first, it does help you understand the regular KJV better but go only by the Authorized KJV red-letter Bible of 1611

LOVE IS THE GREATEST GIFT!

SHARING A MEME I MADE

I love memes but most are so mean and people think if you post a picture of some "celebrity" and a quote that the celebrity actually said it.  Rarely is that true
.  There kinda fun to make and I'm starting a Christian-ONLY F/B page although I'll be posting all sorts of clean, fun and wholesome things cos we Christians gotta laugh and enjoy life too!  I'm so hoping to keep it rather small and only people who are going to participate regularly (at least once or twice a month) join.  Share jokes, recipes, Bible trivia and games (make them up yourself), challenge us with questions and share pics, cartoons and, of course, anything about our Lord God and Savior, Christ Jesus.  It will also be a politics-free zone and the only news allowed to be shared is true breaking news (like a terrorist attack) or a relevant article we need to be aware of that's going on.  If you join (I'll leave a link for you), feel free to post links to your groups, websites or blogs, share other grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone websites and any Christian-based businesses such as PureFlix, a Christian bookstore or resources for people to get help.  No secular sites or endorsement, please.

Also, no cursing, esp. vulgarity but I'm not going to kick you off if you say a word like damn or hell once in a while.  Not really sure that's even a sin.  No nudity for any reason and non-Christian videos or songs must be clean.  Share hobbies, hints and tips, animals, inspirational videos, anything that would please God.  I especially hope you'll share animations.

Oh, and last of all, my page is not one for debating things such as timing of the rapture, age of the earth, or baptism and/or speaking in tongues.  Let's agree to leave those topics alone as there are plenty where it's welcome.  My only prayer is for us to fellowship and honor God.

Here's the meme I made as the background and profile picture for my new page.  I wanted to name it "Paid in Full" and I think I'll make a blog by that name when I get my new computer.  Tell me what you think in a comment.  I don't have time right now to participate in my communities but after the holidays, I hope that changes.  God bless you all.

And this one maybe for my next blog...

Much love in Christ Jesus.  Shabbot Shalom!

WAS JESUS THE HANDSOME MAN WE SEE HIM IN PICTURES? NO!

The Roman Catholic Church commissioned the "grand masters" to paint a picture of Jesus Christ.  Leonardo DaVinci used his gay lover as a model and this is the picture we see hung everywhere with Him being beautiful, long hair and looks very feminine.  Are we conditioned to believe that is REALLY what He looks like?  Did Jesus sit down for an artist to draw His picture?  I don't think so.  He was too busy obeying the will of our Father.

Two things to consider.  Isaiah 53 tells us that Jesus Christ has NO form or comliness nor beauty that we should desire Him.  Second, does the scripture not also say that the effeminate will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God?  I have no idea on the length of His hair but I highly doubt it was long.  He probably had a well kept beard though as most Rabbis did and many still do today.  He would have obeyed the scriptures.

Why would God NOT want Jesus, His ONLY Son, to be beautiful?  I have a theory.  People haven't changed.  We never will.  If there are 2 people telling you something you need to know, want to know, and the good looking one (or beautiful woman) tells you the answer EVEN if it's nonsense and the one who is average or plain, maybe even a big UNattractive, I bet most, if not all, will believe the lie that comes out of the mouth of the beautiful people than the TRUTH from the others.  God didn't want people believing in Him and following His Son like we do all these good-looking wolves on television today because of their looks.  He wanted them to follow Him because He spoke the truth.  He came to save the world.  He wasn't charismatic, probably not that well spoken either.

Someone asked me once if I would be upset if when He returns that I find out He is black.  I do think some of the lost tribes of Israel COULD be African.  They could be native American as well.  I thought that was a silly question.  I don't care what Jesus looks like.  He could have pink dots and yellow stripes and He is my God and Savior.  I don't care what He looked like then or now.  I just wanna be with Him.  Stay grounded in the Word and BE YE NOT DECEIVED.  Don't expect a gorgeous Jesus Christ to return cos that just may be the anti-Christ.  Much love and she does a much better job of explaining it.  Merry Christmas.  Celebrate His birth every single day by spreading His plan of salvation.  It is the best gift!

WHEN YOUR CHURCH DISAPPOINTS (ARTICLE)

Let's face it, church is rarely like going out to a movie or dinner but some are like going to a rock concert.  I admit I enjoy the contemporary music so prevalent in churches today but I really prefer Amazing Grace, In the Garden, Just As I Am, and the Church in the Wildwood.  The words worship and glorify Him and the music is reverent. There's a true church and what it stands for that's not present in today's charismatic, seeker sensitive and emotion-driven services of today.  Music should be a part of the ministry but should not be even a quarter of it. We need to learn what God's Word says and means.  I went to one that frankly scared me so much I was never going back and now wish I hadn't.  I couldn't believe how unBiblical that church was.  I'm a nobody.  Not a scholar so when I can see it's wrong, well, it's wrong, lol.

Here's a link to a great article on how to turn a hum-drum service into one that glorifies our God and Savior.  It is not limited to church, in humble opinion, but can be applied an lots of situations that just aren't that much fun.  Oh, and is church supposed to be fun anyway?  It's fine to laugh and be joyful but when we go to a building, our agenda should be to learn, grow, mature and find ways to help others who are struggling in whatever way you can. God bless and share the Plan of Salvation in First Corinthians 15:1-11.

MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL IN CHRIST JESUS!
