The Bible paints a chilling picture of spending eternity in hell where the devil will reside, along with all who rejected Jesus Christ while living on earth. Don’t believe the lie that everyone goes to heaven! Your eternal destiny is at stake.
Jesus teaches about the final judgment: “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:31-33, 41, 45-46
Though Satan is a defeated foe because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, He is still our very dangerous enemy on earth. We must depend on God’s strength and not on our own to defeat him. When Jesus Christ returns to earth as judge, the devil will one day be thrown into hell forever along with his followers.
