MIKE GENDRON ON POPE FRANCIS

If you are like me, you aren't all that familiar with Roman Catholics and what this new - and strange - new Pope.  I hear from many that he's the anti-Christ or false prophet and I've done some research on not only the pope but the Catholic church as well and it's definitely not the church for me.  However, I feel this man is far more qualified to speak on this than I am so I'm sharing for anyone who, like me, simply doesn't know.  I am curious though, why did the last pope just quit?  That's NEVER happened that I've heard before so why today?  Is there any truth to those who claim the pope is the anti-christ or false prophet?  While I don't know, I have an opinion but the only thing that matters is what God says.  Read your Bible for yourself if you're catholic and learn so you can make an informed opinion on your own.  Also, I'd encourage you to read the "Dark History of the Roman Catholic Church" and there are many excellent videos by ex-catholics but be careful because many are opinions. Look for those who base it on the Holy Bible.  God bless and let us all never be deceived.

I'm quite sure these are tastier AND healthier, at least for the goldfish, lol

GOD BLESS AND SHALOM!

SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS

It's late and I'm going to make this short as I possibly can but say what I want to try to help you.  I, Brenda Alexander, am a hypocrite.  Read on and I'll explain.  I come on here sharing the Gospel of Salvation, love, mercy, grace, etc.  I love doing it and believe it or not, I am serious.  I love everyone but we are never commanded to "like" another person.  There's a huge difference.  There's a saying that goes...Friends are better than family because you get to choose your friends.  To a large degree, this is true.  Jesus Christ tells us that if we love GOD first, with everything we have and then love others even as He loves us, then we have fulfilled the law.  Those are the 2 greatest commandments.  The problem is, it's not easy to love everyone, especially today.  So, we need to define what He means by LOVE.  I doubt it's what we think.

It's my personal opinion that we are not to associate with those who do evil.  We're to love, pray and do good to them but not to call them our friends.  We can't develop Godly relationships when we do because the Light and dark don't mix.  We justify this by saying that maybe if they see our lives changed for the good, they'll want to have what we have. The Bible does tell us if we find ourselves unequally yoked in marriage and the other will accept your faith, stay in hopes that they may be justified by you.  I trust God that He knows a whole lot more than I do and I see that happening in my marriage.  It's slow but who grew up Spiritually overnight?

On the flip side, it doesn't work with friends, especially with the younger crowd who is still desiring to live a carnal life but truly desiring to live a Godly life.  I have friends who don't believe as I do.  One or two is in what is considered to be cults or cult-like.  One I'm sure is truly born-again, just deceived and the other, who I just had to disassociate myself from because they would not stop pushing their cult beliefs on me.  Be very careful about these "new" churches that claim to have received new revelations from God about His Word.  Do not add nor take away from the prophecies written in the Word of God.  There's a strict warning with big time consequences if we do.  This can be found in the Book of Revelation.  I have serious doubts that this person is even saved because his "organization" denies that Jesus is God but rather the Archangel Michael (read Jude 1:9, this clears that up in two ways) and deny the Godhead (what most call the Trinity) and say that Jesus was a created being and not eternal.  Let's see what God says in John 1:1...

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was made flesh"

Now that may not be verbatim but it's clear who Jesus Christ is and while there's so many other verses that tell us this, that should be clear.  Also, isn't the reason that the Pharisees crucified our Lord and Savior is because they denied He was the Son of God?  Look what happened to them!  We're having birth pains and they're coming closer and closer.  How close, I know not but we can't take much more and God is going to intervene whether man believes it or not.  As Dallas Holm's song says "ain't no power on earth can keep Him back cos He'll come again..."  Last on this organization and I'm giving many hints without calling them out by name but the name they demand you call by a "J" sound, even in the most ancient Hebrew language, Aramaic, there has never been a Hebrewic J.  It's either a way to pronounce the Tetragram YHWH or taken from Elohim Adonai.  It doesn't matter.  He is our Heavenly Father.  Got it yet?

Now social media and why I say I am a hypocrite.  As I said, I share Jesus Christ, the Word and the Gospel.  I talk about love, mercy, grace, compassion, self-control, etc.  Then I go to Twitter (the most evil and hate-filled social site I've ever seen) and F/B which is almost like a church compared to Twitter but it is NOT and I see the insanity going on with the world (unbelievers) and even some Christians (ME) saying the meanest, most hateful things to people I don't even know.  It could be my sister's best friend, my neighbor or worse, my husband's boss.  We are to glorify God in all we do.  I don't think social media is a sin.  How you portray yourself may be.  Do you share love on Google and then use that same mouth to cut down others?  I KNOW it's hard not to react to hate with hate but you don't need to.  Turning the other cheek is THE most effective way to share the truth of who a Christian is and what they look like.  Use logic, reason, facts but even more effective is the Word of God with love, humility and truth.  They want to rile you up, especially if you're a Christian.  It pleases them when you sink to their level of hate and name calling.  When you don't, it drives them insane.  They know the words of the world but we have the Words of Almighty God to back us up.  In all things you do, glorify God.  Be His voice to the lost.   Not politics but it's true that love trumps hate every single time.  They may be angry but you didn't sin and you won't feel the guilt and conviction if you obey, especially when it's hard.  In all circumstances give Him glory and good things will come because you do reap what you sow. What you say to the world may be meaningless at the time but tomorrow or 5 minutes later, circumstances may change and what you say could make a huge difference.  Use self-control, facts and don't get caught up in hate.  It is extremely pernicious (causing insidious harm, destruction).

The closer you grow in the Word, the more natural these will become.  Even if you have to walk away, be a part of the solution or you are the problem, regardless of what your politics are.   If you have to, ask yourself what would Jesus say.  Eventually, you'll just naturally know.  He helps those who seek it.  Be careful on social media and be the Christian God demands you be.  He indeed works in mysterious ways and shows us our faults.  We are sinners.  I am a hypocrite but in the process of being sanctified.  We're a work in progress, loved and never forsaken.  God bless, good night and use self-control.  You will be filled with peace.
