JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

I apologize for not knowing where many scriptures are and that I may not be able to quote them verbatim but I always strive to get it as close to perfect as one can.  I love the Gospels, you know the ones...Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  That reminds me of something funny someone asked my husband about a year ago.  He wanted to know why all of Jesus's disciples had "American" names, lol.  Honestly, I thought there were no such thing as stupid questions but that one kinda floored me just a bit.  As you well know, Jesus is not the "real" name of our Savior, it's Yeshua ah Messiach or Jesus is the Messiah.  In fact, Yeshua actually means "salvation" in Aramaic, the most ancient form of Hebrew and the language of Jesus.  The fact is, the name "Jesus" has absolutely no meaning in English.  It's the English version of the Greek name Joshua, which also means "salvation."  Give this a try, read a Psalm that has the word "salvation" in it, read it and insert Yeshua rather than salvation and it's amazing what you see.  In fact, whenever you read the name Jesus, say salvation instead.  I can't prove this but I believe King David KNEW Jesus Christ intimately.  I don't know how or why or even if I'm right but if you read his writings, he seemed to know Him in ways we don't.  That's just my POV and not Gospel truth.  It IS okay to have theories.  It's good to meditate on scripture.  That's how the Holy Spirit is able to lead us into all truth.  He can't work in us if we don't study to show ourselves approved.

Okay, so here's something I am going to ask you to give some thought to.  Have you ever sat down, be silent and in a very quiet place, either in your mind and heart or in reality and counted the cost of discipleship and what you are actually willing to lose to stay in the faith and never leave?  I have and it's not as easy as you think.  What would I give up?  In the end, everything.  I'd give up money, security, my family (which most of them have walked away due to my choice as they make so many assumptions), my dogs and even my husband.  I admit I stumbled on that until I believe the Holy Spirit led me to the verse "what God has joined together, no man can tear asunder."  Marriage is a sacred covenant between God, the man and woman.  He would never ask you to break a promise so that is a nonissue.  I love my dogs dearly but not more than Yeshua Messiah.  God, my David, my home and responsibilities, the needs of others, my country, my neighbors and the first 2 come first always.

Maybe you love your car or healthy bank account.  Maybe you live in a beautiful home, full of gold and silver with the most beautiful scenery ever.  You have need of nothing but everything you want.  Do you share with the less fortunate or reserve only 10% to give to a church that preaches a different Gospel and buys planes but can't help the homeless.  Are you partaking of their sins by enabling them?  Who do YOU think God would prefer you to give your money to and 10% to the dime?  Do you judge those who beg for money and give them a bottle water or money?  Even if you're right and they are drug addicts, do they not deserve to eat or sleep somewhere safe?  "Be wary of how you treat strangers as you may be entertaining angels unawares."  Guess who said that?  Yes, Yeshua Messiah.

He also said that where your treasure is, there's where your heart is.  Money is the root of all evils.  He turned over the tables of the moneychangers.  He said the woman who only gave 2 mites gave more than the Pharisees who gave a lot because it was all she had.  Last thing, it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.  Were these suggestions or did He mean them?  Do they apply to you or did He give you a free pass?  He told me to deny myself, pick up my cross and follow Him.  I don't think He meant that, I KNOW He meant that.  We may not be asked to give it up but what if we are?  That house and car, the healthy bank account and stocks and bonds can disappear in the blink of an eye.  A hurricane, stock market crash, EMP, war, other natural disasters can take away everything you have.  Do you really think your insurance is going to replace what you lost?  What if you lost someone or a beloved pet?

Well, this may be asked of you.  If you lose everything you have on earth, who would you turn to and would He know your name?  Think about it.

God bless you and much love in Christ Yeshua...love back in His Holy Name!
Put your treasure where moths and rust cannot destroy and can't wait to meet you one glorious day  when He returns for us...His Bride so let's be pure!

HERESIES IN THE CHURCH

This is a great blog with many posts condemning and calling out false teachings and those who claim to be receiving "inspired" writings by the Holy Spirit.  I believe all revelations ended at the close of the Canon of Scripture.  We are warned by Jesus Christ not to add nor take away from the prophecies written therein.  So whenever someone writes a book or article that claims "God spoke to them," then should we not put as much authority on them as we do the Bible?  What happens when all these new "prophets/prophetesses such as Ellen White, Herbert Armstong, Joel Osteen, Todd Bentley, etc. say God told them to....fill in the blanks.  As far as Bentley is concerned, he kicked an old woman in the nose with his boots because God told him to do it.  Does that sound like God to you?  Would you have done it or as Wigglesworth did, throw a critically ill baby into the wall and then kick it off the pulpit into the floor?  That child was less than 4 months old and we're not told if it lived but we are told it was left laying on the floor and LOOKED dead.  The God who healed the sick, lepers, blind and lame never hurt anyone.  He was gentle and kind.  He healed a woman who touched the hem of His garmet!!!!  People today are badly deceived and why anyone would believe that our loving, merciful God who is full of grace and poured out all the wrath WE deserve on His Son to reconcile us to Himself would hurt people is just beyond my comprehension.  When I saw a video about Todd Bentley (go to YouTube and search the truth for yourself...do not take my word for it) doing this, it broke my heart.  No, it shattered it into such shards that one Man (God) can make it whole again and only Him.  I'm praying this deception is revealed soon.  Join me in prayer because the Word says "nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest."  Please read his latest post on the books called "Jesus Calling and God Calling.  One minute they claim it's God's perfect inspired word and then they're not sure, then it's not but again it is.  Yep, it's that convoluted so I'll leave you with this thought....

"God is NOT the author of confusion but of peace."  Be blessed.

For Some Reason, I am unable to share the pictures but I am hoping that will change soon.  Forgive me, Chaim.  I can't share anyone else's either unless they allow to specifically.

WE ARE GOSPEL WARRIORS
Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences ( means a deadly and overwhelming disease that affects an entire community or a nation! (flu), and earthquakes in divers places (Matthew 24:7).
Perilous times are here! Paper currency went bankrupt a long time ago. Great wars loom on the near horizon. Don't be deceived; you need the "Rock" to stand on and Jesus Christ is your stand.
Jesus Christ, God the Son, conceived by the power of God through the Spirit of God, without sin nor sin nature, was born of a virgin, began His ministry at about 30, being Emmanuel, God with us, as prophesied in the Old Testament, God and perfect man, lived His whole life in the will of God, in sinless obedience, and served God His Father 3 years, loved the lost, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, rose again the third day according to the scriptures never to die again, and is the Savior of all believing sinners.

THROUGH THE BIBLE BY J. VERNON MCGEE

I have shared this before but not all at once.  This time I decided to just send you the link to at least 200 parts of this series.  Each one is short and leads directly into the next so why not let you watch as many or as few as you have time and need.  Also, you might want to better understand Matthew than Genesis and just go to the one that starts with that book.  I've read it in order, cover to cover, twice but next time, I'm skipping the begots, lol.  I know where to find them if needed but I can barely remember who I "begot" much less hundreds and hundreds of others.  However, they are of vast importance to the Word of God but I also don't think it's one of those "common" books that we should completely comprehend.  I would think those who are educated in OT scriptures and are quite knowledgeable in this area, these books are vital but not to the average Bible reader.  Even Jesus Christ said to stop with the endless genaeologies and such.

Oh, and one of the atheists claims that Matthew and Luke contradict each other due to the lineage and bloodline from Adam to David to Babylon to Christ (14 generations) whereas Luke's is way different, Matthew shows the bloodline from Joseph to King David whereas Luke is telling the bloodline of Mary.

One last thing or question.  I've read a lot about the Roman Catholic Church and not much, if any, is good unless it's from a Catholic source.  One, "catholic" means "universal."  So if your church recites the Apostle's Creed where it says something likee "I believe in the holy catholic church, you can say it in good conscience because it doesn't mean Roman Catholicism but that the Body of Christ is universal, which IS the one and only TRUE Church.  If God is not a respector of persons, do you think He cares the name on a building?  He might, depending on what they're teaching but being a Baptist or Lutheran really doesn't matter, does it?  Believe only the Gospel of Salvation found in First Corinthians 15:1-11.  The cross and Jesus's finished work when He died, according to the scriptures; was dead according to the scriptures; and rose again on the third day acording to the scriptures.  We are saved only by grace; through faith and not of ourselves.  It is a GIFT of God.  Not of works lest ANYBODY should boast.  If you boast, boast in Christ cos you didn't do anything worthy of Him.  It's grace now and was grace in the beginning.

But during my reading what the RCC believes, I found they believe that Mary is a goddess.  Her mother was sinless and perfect (I think that's what they said) so she was born without a sin nature or stain of the original sin.  Think about it for a minute.  IF Mary was a goddess and not a sinner and Jesus Christ came into being by the divine Holy Spirit, the 3rd person in the Godhead and sure perfect and sinless, then Jesus could NOT have had a sin nature.  He was sinless, of course, but He would not have been in any way fully man.  There had to be human DNA involved or else Jesus could not have sinned when He could have but chose not to.  He wanted to relate to us and restore him to Himself and the Father.

If, however, you study these books and you understand them on a different level than me and want to share what I should know, I'd love it.  That's one of the best pieces of advice I can give anyone is except for the doctrine (Gospel) of salvation, keep an open mind and open to new ways of thinking.  Don't be dogmatic and unchangeable or you won't be paid much attention to.  Justin Peters, a man I highly regard as a true man of God said "The Bible has one literal meaning BUT it has many, many applications.  So, as long as your POV is upheld by God's Word and so is mine, maybe both are true...or false.  That is why we need church, fellowship and someone in authority you can go to for help.  Also, the buck doesn't stop either with anyone.  Every child of God, especially the pope, need someone over them but they believe they speak with the same authority as Jesus Christ.  Leave you with this...

The center verse of the Word of God, Psalm 118:8

"It is better to put your trust in the Lord than your confidence in man."  AMEN!
