CONFIDENCE IN PRAYER BY ABALONEKID

TIPS ON PRAYER

**What we pray for is essential:

You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

***Not In His Will

James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Sin breaks fellowship with God. Renew in Jesus accordingly: 1 John 1:5-10; 2:1-2

Isaiah 1:15-17
"So when you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you multiply prayers, I will not listen Your hands are covered with blood. "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless, Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow.

Luke 18:9-14
And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. "The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. ..
'I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.'     "But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!' "I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

ALWAYS IN JESUS NAME (food, breath, life, prayer, troubles etc)

John 14:

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

IN CHRIST PRAYED UP WE RECEIVE

FAITH : GOD KEEPS HIS WORD!

Matt. 8:
8 But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Matthew 21:21-22
And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

1 John 3:21-22
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

IN HIS TIME ACCORDING TO HIS WILL

1 John 5:14
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

GOD HEARS HIS SAINTS

Matthew 7:7-11
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. "Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?
"Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

John 14:13-14
"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:16
"You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

Psalm 50:14-15
"Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High; Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me."

I pray now for all of us that in our faithful ministries to family, friends, brethren and the lost, that you, Lord,  be ever exalted and by your grace and faith you bestow, many souls will be saved and many troubled hearts, in Christ, will be comforted.  In Jesus name I pray.
