I WAS AN APOLOGIST FOR GAY THEOLOGY (VIDEO)

I've been hearing a lot of videos by gays who are debating pastors on this issue.  Let me make a few things very clear here.  I am not a homophobe and if a gay man or woman is sitting next to me in church, I give praise and glory to Jesus Christ because that is where every sinner needs to be.  Oh, and that includes both you and me.  "There is none that does good, no, not one."  "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."  "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Do I think gays should be in positions of leadership or hold office?  No more than I do a man/woman of God who is committing adultery, a drunk/drug addict; living with instead of being married to their partner or is especially a pedophile.  Every choice we make - good and bad - have consequences and either way, we will lose something as there is always a price to pay.  If being gay, sleeping around, porn, sex, drugs, etc. is more important to you than God, then you should not be a pastor of any church.  If you were these things but have changed and repented, the blood He shed covers you as well and you are more than welcome to be my pastor.  However, even though that's a good choice, you will lose friends, your community and your lifestyle.  Depending on your job, you could lose that.  Also take into consideration that the world HATES Christians as it is and for a gay person to speak against homosexuality is like a betrayal the LGBTQ group.  They are likely to be persecuted, beat up and maybe even kill those who do this.  I don't have any statistics or articles to uphold this but I doubt I'm wrong.  But to the young man who is struggling with this and has no one to go to for Spiritual leadership, this man could literally save that man's life, especially if he's a teen.  What a great role model and mentor he can be.  I also imagine this will be a lifelong struggle for him.  We should pray for these men and women who desire more Holiness and are willing to do what God commands rather than give in to the flesh.

Furthermore, I wish the Bible gave us permission to do other things that I know are sinful.  I sure wasn't a "pure" bride on my wedding night.  I've met men I felt attracted to during my marriage.  I also imagine many men wish God approved of porn and adultery.   It seems as if the Church is willing to overlook any willful sin by leaders except homosexuals.  Here in Florida, a few years back, a Baptist Church chose to remove all children from the services because the pastor was charged with being a pedophile and they would rather keep that degenerate man because "he is such a man of God who tells the truth."  Too bad he didn't live the truth.  Who is feeding the children their Spiritual dinner and what message are you sending them?  They may not think about it too much at this young age but one day it will matter more than you know.  So what's the deal, Church and could this possibly be why we are losing more and more credibility with the world and have so many problems in the Church?  I'm not a rocket scientist but I don't need to be to see that

So, I am sharing this for those who do encounter the things this man says we will.  Be fully armed with the truth.  You best be prepared because people want real answers and are looking to you for answers.  Of course this is only intended for those who are seriously wanting to overcome and learn the truth and not to make you the laughingstock of their day.   Don't waste your time and energy but always leave them with how to contact you as many may desperately want the truth but are afraid of the fallout if they do.  However you do it, treat all people with love, respect and see them as a fallen sinner, just like the rest of us and salvation is for them too.  It's long and not for everybody but I do hope it finds its way to those who want and need this.  No judgment here...sin is sin is sin.  Remember, liars are included in that list of those who will not enter the Kingdom of God.
