F A I T H - BY ABALONEKID

THE KEY TO THE HEAVEN ON EARTH EXPERIENCE

The just shall live by faith. This declaration of the Christian's principle of life is found four times in the bible.(Hab. 2:1-5; Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:10; Heb. 10:38 ) In Habakkuk we see the difference between the lives of the unjust and the just. The unjust are puffed up and live by their own self sufficiency

Hab. 2:
1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
5 Yea also, because he transgresses by wine, he is a proud man, neither keeps at home, who enlarges his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathers unto him all nations, and heaps unto him all people:

Romans 1:
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Gal. 3:
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Hebrews 10:
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But the just live by faith-our confidence is in God. To us faith is more than a philosophy of life. The righteous (in Christ) shall live our whole life by faith. We are saved by faith, kept by faith, and we live by faith. Our faith shall be tried many times and in many ways but faith will always be vindicated, because it is more than equal to any occasion. Faith knows how to wait on the Lord and it is always victorious IN CHRIST.

Faith defies reason: it moves mountains (Matt. 17:14-21). Faith does not always face facts (Heb. 11:32-39).

Matt.17:
14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Heb.11
32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Faith says, God is working out His perfect will in my life, and I can wait, endure and suffer.

Phil.1:
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Phil.2:
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Ephesians 1:
5 He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will,

Rom. 8:
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Faith does not make anything easy, but it does make all things possible.

Heb.11:
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is our title deed to eternal life. Just as a title deed is evidence of real estate, so your faith is our evidence of our eternal estate in God.

Heb 11:
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith is taking God at His word. His word is truth; ie we have eternal life!

1 John 5:
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Faith does not believe that all things are good, or that all things work well. It does believe that all things work together for good to them that love God.

James 1:
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

1 Peter 1:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Above all, taking the shield of faith.

Eph.6:
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Faith honors God and God honors faith. Take Abraham!

Rom.4:
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
***21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

MORE TRUTH IN FAITH

We cannot live victoriously over the world without faith
1 John 5:
"4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."

We cannot please God without faith
Heb. 11:
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

We cannot have peace with God without faith
Rom. 5:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

We are justified by faith and not works
Gal. 2:
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

We cannot be saved without faith
John 3:
36 He that believes on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

We cannot pray without faith
James 1:
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

We cannot have joy without faith
1 Pet. 1:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

We are to live by faith
Gal. 2:
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We are made righteous by faith
Rom. 10:
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Christ dwells in our heart by faith
Eph. 3:
" 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,'"

The Holy spirit is received by faith
Gal. 3:
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Whatsoever is not of faith is sin
Rom. 14:
23 And he that doubts is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: ***for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (who says they sin not? They make God a liar (1 John 1:5-10)

May God richly BLESS the reading of His Word> OUR LORD = THE WORD

John 1:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men......

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
