DO I HAVE THE FREE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

If you listen to any online sermons or visit different churches to find out where you feel you are called to attend, then you've come in contact with churches that preach that (1) receiving the FREE GIFT of the Holy Spirit is a separate and very physical and emotional action that MUST take place once you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord God and Savior; (2) you MUST speak in tongues of angels or "secret" prayer language to PROVE to God, yourself, and, of course, the church (physical, not the Body) that you have it so the pastor can claim they baptized many in the Holy Ghost but I'm praying that the one who accepted the Gospel with great joy...you know the Gospel of Jesus Christ...death/burial/resurrection = salvation IF you believe with all your heart, mind, soul and strenth = in hopes that one day they'll receive the Holy Spirit.  You know Him, right?  The Comforter?  Christ in us?  The one the Bible promises and I mean PROMISES that we receive as a 100% work-free, unearned, unworthy gift of God immediately upon salvation and are sealed (shut tight, in chains, key thrown into and melted by the fire) with until the Day of Redemption!  God knows all things and needs no proof, if you don't have the faith to believe that God meant what He said, then you have a big problem, and since when do we have to "prove" anything to anyone?  The "world" hasn't a clue what a real Christian is anyway and if you speak in tongues, they're going to think you're crazy.  The Bible tells you that, by the way.  I'm very tired of this heretical teaching.  Oh, and if you don't start immediately, every woman in the church will volunteer to "teach" you how to speak in tongues.  Teach me to use a gift of God?  Wow!  If man has to teach me to use a GIFT OF GOD then that's about the most boastful, arrogant false teaching I've ever heard.  If God can give me the supernatural (not my favorite word) ability to speak in a KNOWN language as all the Apostles and Corinthians spoke (ONLY Paul says "even IF I speak in the tongues of angels, I'd rather speak 5 intelligible words than many no one understands."  Even YOU that claim to have this "gift" have no idea what you're saying to God so how does that, in any way, edify you in Christ Jesus?  He has no need to learn a thing from us, we need Him to speak to us so we can understand.  Would God speak to you (whatever language you speak) in words not one human being speaks or can 100% without a doubt interpret?  Isn't the point to learn the Word of God in truth?  Would God play that kind of game with you? THINK ABOUT IT AND WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD TELL YOU?
