HEBREW VIEW OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND TONGUES (FROM WHAT WOULD GOD THINK OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS?)

A very interesting sermon on the Hebrewic POV of the Holy Spirit, tongues and what would God think of all this political correctness that's so popular today?  I hope you enjoy and find some helpful information on this very important subject.  Most believe that PC has caused great harm to the world today.  Let's see what the Bible has to say about it as I haven't had a chance to watch it myself.  Feedback is always appreciated!

I did listen to it and the only thing I disagree with him on is the matter of speaking in tongues.  Anyone can speak in an unknown language but read Acts and this "tongues" issue was first, always a KNOWN language; and two, it was a SIGN TO THE JEWS.  Now, I do believe that some may have the true gift of tongues but I'm also of the belief that now that "that which is perfect has come," the universal gift of tongues has ceased.  Speaking in tongues was the only way in those times that one could share the Gospel to other nations but today, we are taught languages and the Bible has been translated into almost every known language.  It is not needed but if so, I have no doubt that the Holy Spirit will give people that gift.  Speaking in tongues was the least of the Spiritual gifts.  Prophecy, healing, wisdom and knowledge were the better gifts.  Yes, I do believe we have those gifts even today.

Whatever you believe personally, if you trust Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, then we are truly born again.  We cannot buy, earn nor do anything (not prophecy, healing, baptism, good deeds or works) to get us into Heaven.  The greatest commandment and the second greatest is to LOVE the Lord your God with your whole heart, mind, body and spirit; the 2nd is LIKE the first and that's to love others EVEN as Jesus has loved us.  So, LOVE is the greatest gift!  Pray for HOLY LOVE!

GOD BLESS AND SHARE THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION!
