A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22
What the world needs now is some "Good Medicine" with all the hatred and hostility these days, we need more Jesus and less of us ( John 3:30) Words matter, they have the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21) We must choose our words wisely , when we lash out at people it crushes our spirit.
Jesus is the cure, he is the "Good Medicine" through him we can have the fruits of The Holy Spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control (Galatians 5:22-23) Don’t you think the world can use these qualities right now? When we see the fruits of evil, hatred, racism, murder, and greed, these are the fruits of Satan who has come to rob , steal, and kill. You will be known by the fruit you bear
What are people really searching for? Isn’t all this chaos because people are looking for paradise? These is only one way to eternal life, and that’s through Jesus Christ (John 14:6) He is the only road to happiness, when you put your trust in mankind, you will always be let down. Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), he does not change.
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the should and healing to the bones (Proverbs 16:24) Are you healing or hurting people today with your words and actions? Do you need some "Good Medicine", then turn to Jesus Christ Amen
