GOD'S PROMISES - WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY STRUGGLING

What to do when you are mentally struggling...

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."  Second Timothy 1:7

"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."  Isaiah 41:10

"For God is not the author of confusion but of peace."  First Corinthians 14:33

"For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peacable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.  Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.  James 3:16-18

"Therefore it is also contained in Scripture, "Behold I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes in Him will by no means be put to shame."  First Peter 2:6

"For the Lord God will help me; therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.  Isaiah 50:7

"Cast your burden on the Lord and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved."  Psalm 55:22

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Phillipians 4:6-7

"Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble."  Psalm 119:165

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you."  Isaiah 43:2

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."  Psalm 147:3

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.  Second Corinthians 1:3-4

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy --- meditate on these things.  Phillipians 4:8

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Romans 8:38-39
