STANDING OVATION VS TEARS OF EMOTION?
🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅

🌅WE ARE READING ABOUT THE LIGHT OF "THE SON" IN THIS BEAUTIFUL STORY SHARED BY +Donna Barger Colman.

🌅 During a discussion with my brother recently he shared a story he had heard recently that really impressed me and I decided to share it with everyone.

🌅 It seems that a famous performer/entertainer was well known for closing his act by reciting the 23rd Psalm which begins with the words, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” (We are unaware of the type of entertainer/ performer he was but it really didn’t matter, due to the context of the story.) In appreciation for his recitation, the audience would award him with a standing ovation.

🌅One particular evening, a minister just happened to be present in the audience.  As he heard the performer end the evening with his usual rendition of the 23rd Psalm, the Lord spoke to him and told him to go up and recite the 23rd Psalm in front of the audience himself.

🌅Although questioning the reasoning as to why God wanted him to get up in front of the audience and repeat the recitation of the 23rd Psalm, he obeyed and did as God had told him to.

🌅However, this time the audience responded emotionally with tears. The entertainer, confused by this, asked the minister why he had received an emotional response of tears, while earlier the audience had responded quite differently.

🌅 The minister turned to the famous man beside him and said, “You may know the Psalm, but I know the SHEPHERD.”
