I haven't been working on my blog for a while but I plan to restart it after the New Year. I had many reasons for deciding this but mainly I felt I was working too much and had put my personal relationship with Jesus Christ on a shelf. I had to get back to my "first LOVE. I also know this has been a busy season for many and I gave you guys a break. I also didn't like the direction I was going. This blog will remain the same, with a few changes.
One, I will review all videos and articles from unknown sources before sharing. I will also try to verify that all the info I share is inline with scripture and isn't from false prophets or false doctrines. We are saved by grace and although I think good works follow the true repentant heart, they do not save but are fruits of salvation. This will not affect shares from people I know on Google Plus because no one has the time to read every article at the time but I know them and have either read them before and I know their doctrine is sound. I do read them but not necessarily before I share those I trust. I have some great brethern on my groups.
Second, sharing my Hebrew Words of the Day, music, etc., none of that will change and I plan to share more inspirational and positive news. I am also doing another blog entirely devoted to the Gospel of Salvation by Grace alone. All sermons, videos, articles, etc. will be on that blog and I will do fewer shares per day. As far as end times prophecy videos, I will put up links on the right hand side where they're easily found IF you want to watch them but I will not be posting them on my blog UNLESS they are especially relevant. I will also share any true relevant political news as it relates to our faith. I'll also share laughter whenever I can.
Now, I hope everyone had a happy and blessed Christmas! I personally am relieved it is over. I also encourage you to celebrate God's Holy Days, especially Passover and Pentecost. I fear we try to wipe all Judaism out of Christianity when the truth is, we are now Jews, by adoption, and heirs to God's promises. Now, I am not a Torah Keeper or Sabbatarian as I esteem ALL days the same and keep them as holy as a human possibly can. I also plan to call out false prophets, fake religions but not in a judgmental way but in love. All information will be truth and anything I share can be tested by Scripture to be proven false. This is a very important issue to me as I got snared into 2 of the worst false churches and it almost caused me to give up. I want to bring these to light using the Holy Bible. It may offend some and hurt but we are the salt of the earth and salt is abrasive but healing. Sometimes the truth (salt) hurts. Test all doctrine by the Word of God. Be ye NOT deceived.
Now, I am going to break my own rule for a minute and get a little political. Pray and pray hard and often for our new President Elect, Donald J. Trump. I see some disturbing things, even among Christians, where it's like they see him as the Savior, our only hope. I like him and am glad he won but he is a man. We have a Savior, we have no need to worship Trump so STOP IT NOW. Trust God to work through him but "It is better to put your trust in the Lord than your confidence in man." Psalm 118:8, the very center verse of the Bible. It's fine to feel blessed to be an American but to have pride in it, remember that pride goeth before the downfall. We became a prideful, greedy nation who removed God from our lives. Bring Him home and be grateful rather than full of pride. We are no better...or worse...than anyone else in the world.
Last, HAPPY NEW YEAR. Be blessed and I pray this year we all return to our first love, Jesus Christ. Let's problem solve and be a part of the solution, or else we ARE the problem. This is not a political party issue. We cannot remain divided, and we are not only a divided nation but a divided Church. We need to be of one voice, one accord.
Be blessed and give God the glory in all things and let Him transform your life. Spread the Good News, draw closer to Him and never, ever put social media ahead of your relationship with Christ Jesus. Trust me, it does not work. I cannot read every post on Google and I feel bad about that but I do the best I can. I'm on many groups and will do what I can and you do what you can. Let's not be offended if members don't "like" (1 plusing) every post we make. It's not personal, it's impossible. God loves you and salvation is free. Read First Corinthians 15:1-11 and if anyone teaches you a different gospel or different Jesus Christ, it is a false doctrine. Be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Test all spirits against God's word and do what is right. God bless you and rejoice in that love. Peace through Christ Jesus in heart if not in this world. Much love!
