ENCOURAGEMENT - By John Sechrest on Google Plus!

Luke 17:3-6 So watch yourselves. "If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times comes back to you saying 'I repent,' you must forgive them". The apostles said to the Lord, "increase our Faith!" He replied, "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you!! Jesus made it clear that a conflict should be handled personally, privately, and with a forgiving spirit. The disciples thought that such an act of forgiveness would require an added measure of faith, but Jesus told them they needed only to use the faith they already possessed. Even a little faith in God will unleash enough power to uproot a tree. Certainly the same Faith in God has the same power to uproot anger, bitterness, depression, anxiety, and any other thing you have rising up in your life!! Today as Christians we need to grasp this strong reality that no matter what we are going through God is there, I don't know everything, I don't try to claim I do, but I know my God and I know He is faithful even when I am not, someone today is facing obstacles that has festered anger, bitterness, resentment not only to people but is also affecting the way you view God and His love for you!! God loves you and wants a true relationship with you but you have to stop relying on your understanding of the way you think things should be and hold to your faith in Him and break the walls of bitterness and resentment in your life so you can give out love, because we can't give what we don't have!! We must receive Christ first to give Christ to others!!

God bless you all today, a disciple of Jesus Christ, Your brother John Caleb
